Burger craving satisfied. Placing a pick up order through the website was very quick and convenient. The best part was getting to the location and having the order ready. The food here is always great. I do think it's a little pricey, but the food is good quality and fresh. I typically order to pick up, but recently dined in for the first time. I was so surprised at what great service they have! For an order-by-machine, take-a-number style restaurant, I was surprised how many times employees came to the table to check on us, see if we needed anything, and clear our trays, and always with a great attitude. This was my first BurgerFi experience. We ordered two plant-based burgers and fries. When we returned to the AirBnB, the food looked and smelled amazing. Until the first bite, I was impressed. Visually, the burger looked delicious complete with all of the fixings but the burger was either uncooked or not cooked well enough for my palate. It was honestly tough to eat the burger but because we did not want to waste food, we somehow made it through every bite. Had we known to ask for a well-done plant-based burger, we would have done so. As for my BurgerFi experience, I can truly say that I do not want another plant-based burger from there. The flavor and texture was akin to eating raw meat. On a better note, the french fries were good. Their burgers were really tasty, but I must say the custard shakes were AMAZING!! It's like no other shake we've ever tried. So creamy and flavorful. We first had the chocolate and the mocha flavors, then we had to go back and try the birthday cake. OMG! All were fantastic! The service was also very good. Second time this week having burgerfi. The first one was in Gainesville and now Miami. The customer service is great. The young lady who took my order was very pleasant and friendly. The person who delivered my food to the table was also extremely nice and when I told him my order was wrong he apologized and said he would fix it immediately (they brought me all onion rings instead of the rings and fries) not a huge issue. I got the stamp!! After my last experience and seeing all the photos with the burgerfi stamp on it in was disappointing not to get it, more for the social media aspect then anything else. Picture attached, lol. The onion rings are amazing!! Crispy on the outside, light batter that does not fall apart when you bite it them. I had the ultimate bacon cheeseburger with fries and every sauce they had! Omg that burgerfi sauce is delectable!! So yummy and unique! I can have a whole pint of it lol. Admittedly, this place totally feels like a Shake Shack ripoff, from the menu to the branding to the way they handle orders. But they did do a very good job, and I enjoyed my burger (and fries) here. I opted for the bacon cheeseburger, which was very good. I would have liked a bit more flavor from the bacon, but the Fi Sauce added some good flavor. The fries were also very good. Let me start out by saying I would probably rate between a 3 and 3 1/2. I ordered food on their app and my fiancé stopped and picked it up. This isn't our first time ordering food from here since it's close to our home and we like the food. My fiancé goes to pick up the food and I'm on the phone with him (again nothing new we have done this before). He tells the cashier he is there to pick up and the name then tells me he will call me back (he calls me once in the car and says he had to hang up because it was so loud from the employees joking around. I thought the loudness I heard was from the place being busy). Now I'm all for people having fun but you also should remember you are at work and when it interferes with your job then maybe stop for a minute. He gets the bag and walks out. He checks the bag because it feels lighter than it should and good thing he did. Our order of onion rings are missing. There he goes back. Gets them all is good. Get home and go to eat. Usually burgers are in a box which is nice. This time they are wrapped in aluminum (ok they may have run out of boxes which is fine) but do you have to smash my burger? Just didn't look as appetizing as usual. Also I ordered a large fry and the order came in a bag and didn't seem like the amount we usually get in a large order. I always get a large and we share and always have some leftover but this time we didn't have enough. I don't know it could have been a large but to me it didn't look like it. I had to think twice about doing this review. I bought 2 burgers to-go. Mine was yummy! I enjoyed the flavors and liked the size of the burger. Nevertheless, my husband ordered a different one, with double meat and unfortunately got intoxicated. Throwing up all night and a really bad headache. It was really disappointing because we liked it (even though he did mention a weird aftertaste on the meat of his burger) I'm sad because I was really excited to try this place and the combination of flavors they have really caught my attention. First time trying BurgerFi and I was pleasantly surprised by the great tasting burger and super friendly employees. You can tell the management really takes pride in customer service. Ordering is quick and easy with options to order with a cashier or via a kiosk. They bring the burger out to your table and also we're quick to clear any trash and dishes from the table once you we were finished. I would probably most compare the burger and fries to that of Five Guys. I'm usually a big Five Guys fan, but after today I would probably pick BurgerFi (at least this location) over the Doral Five guys. It comes with double bacon and double beef patty. The price is $8.97. So I asked how much was the single since it did seem like a lot of food. The single was $7 something. That is a bit pricey for a burger to me. The restaurant itself was nice. It is in the new City Place plaza. A little in the small side but they do have outside sitting. It was packed too. The staff was nice. I called my order in ahead of time. The person I spoke with wasn't helpful initially until I told her that I'd never been there before and didn't know how they served their food when she advised that they didn't have combos. The guy at the restaurant who checked me out was nice and the guy who served me my custard. Now the custard, it is delicious. I don't know what the difference is between that and ice cream but this custard is divine. The Oreos was the icing on the cake! If you check in they will give you a small cup of custard. The first burger we got to sample was the Beyond Burger a vegan burger that I initially wasn't too excited to try, but upon first bite fell in love with. It seems like no matter what BurgerFi I visit, I always have a good experience. This particular location I've had the pleasure of dining in twice. I like this location, right in the Doral city place which I like to visit, where it's busy with people and different things going on at different times. What made this location stand out to me was the way the staff worked so well together. They seemed to enjoy working together and making sure things moved along like they should when assisting customers. I sat and observed how they spoke to the customers, how they served the customers and how they interacted with each other in front of the customers. I was very impressed, so much so I left a comment with the manager who was sitting down having lunch at the table across from me. read more
