2 meat sampler with cheesy baked potato

A nice experience. The food was pretty good. The chicken was on the dry side, but a healthy dose of one of their many bbq sauce options fixed that. If you're going to order brisket, apparently the moist version is the way to go. Nice staff and very clean inside. Decent amount of food for the price too!

Mission BBQ is a good place for BBQ and Sandwiches with a very wholesome ambiance. My favorite thing to eat there is the pulled chicken sandwich, the chicken is fresh and tasty. The French fries are hand cut, and very good, and so is the cole slaw. My son also really likes that sandwich and also the baked beans. My husband typically goes for the brisket sandwich. A big plus is the variety of BBQ sauces that you have at your table - plenty to try with your food. Smoky Mountain is my favorite. Also, from time to time we see US Service members there eating with their families. Very cool.

If you like barbecue for a chain restaurant, no matter where in the state of Florida you go to one of their places, the food is delicious. The employees are all very helpful, courteous and attentive. It was a wonderful afternoon and a great lunch with college friends.

5/5 stars!!! Great service, the food was amazing. The manager Isaac made the experience feel at home. He gave us the best recommendations, very helpful. Everything was very clean, we felt very invited. Relaxed, casual atmosphere. The food was amazing, sauces were delicious, especially the KC one. Exactly what we were looking for a Sunday dinner.

Not the best bbq I've ever had. Service was great but food was a 4 out of 10. Portion sizes felt small, and taste was ok. Chicken was dry, baby back ribs were tasty. 2 meals and 2 drinks were close to $70! Honestly the price did not justify for the overall experience.

My husband is a Texan and a Veteran so places like this one are right up his alley, not normally what I prefer but since we were in the area, we came here. I enjoyed their brisket, jalapeño and cheese sausage and their Mac n cheese, but was bummed they had no corn. I found the ribs to be too fatty for my taste and the pulled pork to be overly seasoned a bit too saucy too. Service was ok. Can't ask for much at establishments where you order at the cashier and then get the food yourself at the other side of the counter. Restaurant was clean.

This would taste better than the brisket

Truly disappointed in what will certainly be the LAST time I consume food from this particular establishment. In the least amount of words possible; the brisket was drier and chewier than an 80 year old ranch hand and his trusty saddle. Portions small for the $$ you pay. Only thing on that tray that was passable was the side of potato salad. Shame on you Mission for serving such garbage and passing it off as BBQ. Your postmaster should be drawn and quartered and thrown in the smoker at high heat!

Sad to say this was a horrible experience today. I was craving a burger and thought since the Brisket, Mac n cheese is so good the burger would be incredible. I asked the cashier if the burger was good. Did a nice job talking up the burger so I was sold. I stood at the front and saw the cook pull a precooked burger out (must have been cooked in advance-not sure why) and put on the grill. Looked like a hockey puck. In my mind....I was saying....no way that's the burger....is it? Well, it was. They heated it up, put cheddar cheese on to hide the burger, and melted the cheese. The fries sat on the counter while the burger was heated, yes, heated not cooked...so to say it was not fresh is accurate. The burger was served hard, the bun was dry, the fries were cold. I seriously cannot believe it. I was so disappointed today. My review is based on today. Yes, I have had other great meals here, but today was not good. I would NEVER order an old, overcooked, dry burger again disguised with fresh cheddar cheese on an old bun with old French fries. Just nasty.

Great place, the food is yummy, the staff is courteous and maintains the restaurant very clean. For a fast food chain is pretty good.

Gonna have to come back every Saturday from now on! We started with the chicken/turkey croquetas, served with a nice pink sauce for dipping. We added a side of their guava ketchup too. We got three croqueta balls that were crunchy on the outside, creamy like masa on the inside though there is no dairy, and the flavor was just wow! There are two other croqueta flavors, I will be sure to try those next time. Hubby had the El Principito sandwich, minus the cheese (lactose intolerant). Sandwich comes with a very nice mustard for dipping, so cheese was not missed. And the three meats in the sandwich were so flavorful, just wow. I had the Sancho Panza frita burger and it was hands down the best burger I'd had in a VERY long time. The malanga shoestring fries have a beautiful, earthy and salty flavor, a nice change from the standard potato sticks. All in all, an excellent meal and I'm so happy I live close by!

We had to have the creole fires that never disappoint and ended with the peanut butter chocolate chip salted pretzel cookie. Yes, it was as good as it sounds. To top it off, we were able to get a bag of dog treats for a pug meet up. Can't express enough what a great experience we had. There was even live music on Saturday when we went around 3pm.

Upon arrival, it was not busy, there was one person waiting on their food, we saw that our orders on the screen, and there was only 3 orders total at the moment. However, we probably waited another 20 mins after. While we waited more people showed up, but our food was not getting done any quicker. People who ordered in person got their order first, and they came in at least 5-10 mins after we arrived. I have worked in the food industry, so I do understand that it gets busy, however when we came in time, it was announced that we were there to pick up the food. Only one employee apologized for how long it was taking. I would have thought that our food was going to be done first. The drinks were alright, we got the lemonade, and half sweet and unsweet tea. We ordered the King Club, Chicken salad Sandwich, Spicy Turkey Melt and the Max Spud. Mind you, these items were all half, so imagine waiting more than 30 mins total from the time we ordered to the time we got the food. The King club was good, the honey mustard added a nice sweetness. The Spicy Turkey melt was mid, I think it could do without the avocado. The Chicken Salad sandwich was good too, I love the little sweetness the cranberries added. The Max spud was also mid. I don't think I'm a baked potato kind of person. The vibes were like as if Panera and TooJays had a baby. Would come back for the food but service could improve.

Super cozy but still bright and stylish. We ordered the brioche chicken sandwich and... wow. I don't even like chicken (I was just planning to try a bite from my husband's), but it was out of this world. I kept going back for more -- the brioche was soft and buttery and everything together was just chef's kiss. Absolutely divine. The cappuccino was also perfectly made with a special touch -- you can tell they really care about their coffee. But the real highlight of our visit was our waitress, Alexa. She was so warm, sweet, and genuinely helpful -- the kind of person who makes you feel like you're being taken care of by a friend, not just a server. Yes, $80.05. then, the great service! NOT!! They gave our drink order to the group that ordered after me. It was classic, the guy ordered the same three drinks I ordered plus four other as they were a large party. He's not even done paying when I see the lady put my drink order on the counter and tells him "the rest of your drinks are coming up" I was like 'what?' I watched as he grabbed my drinks and passed them out. As I walked up to the counter and asked the lady where are my drinks, since I ordered first. She looks at me and then at the other guy and says "oh, I have them to the wrong person" laughs about it and then, with a straight face tells me "as soon as I finish with their drinks I'll get yours, their order is using up the coffee machine now" No I'm sorry, no apology of any kind. So to wrap up, super way overpriced, the cafe con leche (Latte) was weak and it was more foam then coffee and they gave me the wrong size, paid for large received the small. When I went back to let them know. They said I would have to wait until they finish with the other orders. I was already 40 minutes in this stupid place. So I asked her to refund the difference and she said that she can't do that. WHAT??? EVERYTHING (did not try their pastries) IN THIS PLACE SUCKS, THE SERVICE, THE EMPANADAS AND THE LATTE AND MACHA! We had these treats: Lucuma-chocolate cheesecake -- not too sweet, either flavor/layer; this is just a smooth caramel flavor derived from the lucuma fruit plus the real chocolate layers. Lucuma milkshake -- not too sweet, just a creamy caramel-flavor profile again derived from, counterintuitively, a fruit. Arroz con leche / rice pudding -- delicious, creamy, and a little thin compared to the American counterpart (tends to be thicker consistency); this has cinnamon and a little bit of spiced orange.
