We came to order take out and then realized it doesn't open until noon. We the first ones to order so there was no wait at the register. We sat in the small dinning area inside to wait for our food. It took about 15 minutes to be prepared. I had a chicken wrap which was okay. The chicken was seasoned well but nothing really stood out. The falafels were pretty good but wish they came with a tahini sauce or something to dip in. I also ordered hummus and asked if it came with pitas. Was told yes, but it was just 1 pita! Way, way West in Miami you will find this "fast food" gem. You will love it especially if you are a fan of middle-eastern food. I enjoyed the mixed plate platter. It was delicious! It consisted offered kibbe, grape leaves, hummus baba ghanou, tabouleh and pita bread. They also had typical hamburgers, salads and wraps for those of you who want standard American food. My husband just sat and watched me eat because he wasn't very hungry. The dining area was tastefully decorated with the middle eastern theme. Flat screens and music added to your dining pleasure. Service was fast food style; but the dining area was nicer than typical fast food restaurants. There was ample parking nearby. I will definitely return when I am in the area again. One of my favorite things to order is the feta salad. The other location you get a mound of feta covered in tomato and spices and olive oil. I was really excited for another location of Shawarma Mediterranean because I love the one on 117 and 88th street, but unfortunately this location was not as good. I love having healthy options in Kendall, and this one being right next to Baptist West is a great location. The restaurant is clean inside and you go right up to the register to order your food so it's pretty quick. I ordered the Mixed plate which came with fried kibbe, grape leaves, hummus, baba ghanoush, and tabouleh. The fried kibbe was extremely tasty as well as the tabouleh. The grape leaves were too salty to eat and the hummus and baba ghanoush were pretty mediocre. I also ordered the Combo kabob trip with Kafta, chicken, and beef. The beef and kafta were good, but the chicken was a little too charred for my liking. I also wish they would put the pita bread on the side instead of under the meat because it gets too soggy to eat. I also got the Mediterranean fries which were good. Overall, the food was too salty for me, and I will be sticking to their other location. read more

It took about 15 min for the food to be ready so I decided to eat in and when the food was brought to my table I noticed a hair in it. I also noticed the fries had a little too much salt but I just mentioned the hair to the cashier. She took the plate back apologized and said I would be getting a new one. In less than a minute I received the new plate which clearly was not made new. The exact salty fries were there. I can only assume they removed the hair with how quickly I was served the plate. Tried the falafel platter, tabouli and babaganoush. Tabouli was delicious and the falafel platter was pretty good, I wish it had better side options the salad it brought was nothing exciting. Also it didn't bring any tahini sauce like you usually get with falafel and it defintley would have benefit from it. The babaganoush we didn't like at all.
