Enjoyed it so much the other night ordered it for delivery tonight and tried one new dish- beef with broccoli combination plate and got the general tso's again but combination plate style. Egg Rolls were a little light on the pork in the filling but good texture. And the food was good again with perfect portions. read more

Got Togo food here on a whim while visiting my parents it was good the fried rice was excellent I also enjoyed the dumplings will def get some food in the future read more

So disappointed... the chicken was so gross... threw it out. Hoping it was just a bad night.

Great Chinese spot. it's my go-to spot for a quick lunch and dinner!! it's a mother and son that work there and they are a great team! Food is Amazing. read more

Really great dumplings and overall great food. I have been going here for some years and always highly enjoyed them. I recommend you check this place out if you haven't yet. You will be in for a real treat. read more

Best EggRoll I have had in years! Egg Foo Young was perfect with great gravy! Fried Rice was amazing with crunchy but perfectly cooked onions(I want to know that secret). Service was congenial, quick and perfect. Best of all, I picked up in the early evening, had enough food for 2 meals and it was less than $12.00. Thank you! read more

Ok, So I had high hope for decent Chinese food outside of New York City. I was told that this place would bring it home. Unfortunately, it all came crashing down after the first bit. The food itself lacks any form of freshness and the aftertaste will have you running for mouthwash. read more

I have enjoyed in the past but tonight I got 4 shrimp in my orde, plenty of rice and the egg roll had the texture of being microwaved and left to sit. super disappointin. I will try again, but if the quality is similar I will give up. I find this sad as it was the only decent takeout Chinese on the island, but I will do a burger or frozen from the grocery before paying $10 for four shrimp. read more

I loved coming here but will not be returning because I found out that they've been sneaky about billing, with the final processed transactions several dollars more than the amount I agreed to pay. I didn't notice because it's always just a couple dollars but knew something was off when all I ordered was a soup that doubled its price! Shameful and sad. I was a regular. You'd think being a loyal and non-fussy customer would get you loyalty back. Always faithfully tipped, still fleeced for extra cents. read more

This is a hole-in-the-strip-mall family-run Chinese take-out spot. Located on Wilmington Island in the Kroger shopping center, they've established themselves by serving reasonably priced American-Chinese dishes made with consistently fresh ingredients. The hot and sour soup is delicious. The egg drop soup, shrimp with broccoli, the tofu dishes, the luncheon specials, all good. They don't deliver, and don't speak English very well, but don't vary in their quality. Is it the highest-end Chinese food you've ever eaten? No. Is it the best Chinese food on the islands? Yes. Highly recommended. read more

Best steamed dumplings in Savannah! Food is always quick and delicious. It's also conveniently located next to a RedBox, which makes a chill movie night super easy to coordinate. The restaurant doesn't look like much, but the staff is super nice and it's one of the best Chinese joints in Savannah. I also really like that you can see the entire kitchen and the chef cooking your food. It's very clean, and they are really mindful of that. read more

I stopped by for some take out while on duty. I hate to say it, but I've had better. Much better. I wish there was a better option for Chinese food in my fire district, but alas, it isn't to be. I ordered beef fried rice, which was pretty bland. The crab rangoon is just a fried wonton, folded in half with runny cream cheese. I bet this stuff is Heaven when you're super drunk, but other than that, look elsewhere, I say. read more

Food is good. As a supporter of Asian Owned businesses, I am pleased to say that my expectations were met at this establishment. The Chef is very professional and outstanding. Service is 3/5. My son Bradley thinks the same way. Portion size is good.. read more

We love their cold sesame noodles! This place is definitely one of our go-tos when we don't feel like cooking or eating out. I only wish they delivered. read more

Hold the presses we have a competitor. Chef Wan vs Panda. Today I walked out w three pork egg rolls just to give them a try. What a pleasant surprise a nice filling of vegetables w barbecue pork. Wrapper crunchy and not oily filling flavorful. So again decided to get dinner. An order of Mu Shu pork it comes w plume sauce and pancakes. The flavor was sweet in a light sauce. Some place the pancakes are hard to handle but not these. Second entree was Shrimp and vegetables but instead w garlic sauce. The Shrimp was cleaned, plump and abundant, the sauce lack a garlicky flavor but still unusually good. I don't understand why local restaurants are so stingy w rice but both entrees came w Rice -thank you. On the wall is a sign for fried donuts 10 for 3.50, I couldn't resist. Simple biscuits deep fried and rolled in sugar,oh boy what a way to end a savory meal. read more

I was cutting through the parking lot to get our umpteenth rotisserie chicken from Kroger when I passed by Panda. I put it in reverse. Can't eat another rotisserie chicken anyway. A kid about 10 or 12 took my order by circling items directly on one of the stack of menus in front of him. Efficient as hell. I ordered Chicken (yeah, wasn't bold enough) w/Szechuan Style and ordered Chicken and Broccoli for the wife. For me, I need more Szechuan Style than what I tasted. I should feel heat on my tongue. Hardly. The wife's Chicken and Broccoli was serviceable but really with a 2:1 broccoli to chicken ratio, it should be listed as Broccoli and Chicken. I learned that online ordering is available. Now that's helpful. If you are eating in, you will have a steady stream of slightly disoriented men, like me, hanging around the smallish dining area waiting for their family's take-out orders. Not all of us smelled real good, counting myself. read more

We have several Chinese take out choices here on the Island., I will never go to Panda, the restaurant isn't clean and the food is awful. We eat Chinese at least once a week and if my normal restaurant is closed I would rather eat a Chinese frozen dinner. I'm not sure that they use good ingredients to start with. Everything is loaded with MSG. I did order from them once and when I got home and opened the container I was greeted by a roach in the box. I called to complain and we told that it was impossible and I just wanted free food. I took the food back, didn't ask for a refund and vowed to never eat there again. read more

First of all, this restaurant is a little bit hard to find for non-locals, tucked away in the Kroger shopping center. Secondly, the ambiance is absolutely abysmal. It's obviously a take-out place. We were the first customers in the store on a Sunday. The tables were all sticky and there were greasy fingerprints on the glass surfaces and drinks cooler. Cleanliness and pleasing appearance are obviously not high priorities for this restaurant. We placed our orders and the food came out relatively quickly. I had the fried rice with mine, which had an odd aftertaste. My partner had the steamed rice and he thought it had a flavor like rice pudding. The rest of the food was passable. Given the previous reviews, we were very disappointed and wouldn't recommend it. read more

Just moved to the area and figured we would give Panda a try. Great quick easy online ordering. Food as ready as soon as we got there. 3 combo plates and an order of crab rangoon came to a little of $30. Will definitely order again read more

Panda - Generals Chicken with Pork fried rice - Chinese Near Me - Savannah, Georgia

This was my first visit and I really wanted a good Wonton soup. The broth was flavorless and the dumpling were chewy and undercooked. The beef and broccoli went into the trash after a few bites, not mine. I hadn't had lunch and was really hungry, the garlic chicken had this weird sweet and sour sauce, chicken was mushy, rice was overcooked. I ate half and it went in the trash. read more

Clean, good lunch specials. Nice size servings. Best for takeout not really an eat-in place.

This is the best Chinese food I have found in Savannah so far. Everything is fresh and you can see them cooking it. Fast and friendly service! They do not deliver though so you have to pick it up. Trust me it's worth it! read more

As a mostly take out Chinese restaurant. The food is great, fresh, and delicoius. They have great customer service and ample portions. There is a serious shortage of chinese food in Savannah, and I am glad that I trusted the reviews and tried Panda out. This place is in a good & safe location. I definately would recommend this place to anyone looking for Chinese food. read more

best egg rolls ever! they have amazing lunch specials as well. the staff is very friendly and they make your food pretty quickly.

Yum. Very tasty. Very basic interior, I think most of their business is To-go. Go for lunch when everything is cheap. Loved the king Pau chicken and general tsao's chicken. read more

Staying on Tybee we opted for takeout and a redbox. Panda was conveniently located by the Kroger and based on Yelp had 3.5 stars. So we gave it a go, regretfully. I think I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to Asian food but not when it comes to freshness. The vegetables were NOT fresh. The broccoli and snow peas had long lost their bright green color and due to the fact we waited 5 minutes for our food I know they weren't overcooked. The pork was dry also lending me to feel as if the whole dish had simply been reheated. Maybe the actual cook was off for the night. read more

Great service always and very fast. I like that they stay open late. Food is always good.

Tried this place for the first time, and I will not be going back. The food tasted OKAY, pretty bland, and the pieces of chicken were essentially unrecognizable as chicken- compressed mystery meat? Not especially cheap either. Don't go here unless it's a last resort. read more

Fried rice was a box of barely fried rice, more like steamed, with a few slivers of onion. Real fried rice like you find at most Chinese restaurants includes carrots, peas, eggs, and is fried. At least they could get this correct. Usually portions are decent. read more
