    Shrimp and broccoli

I have a stomach of steel. I can count the amount of times I have ever gotten sick from eating out on one hand, and I eat from food stalls in countries all around the world. This one took me down. I was pretty excited; I got there 30 mins before closing to pick up my food (I was in the area and my usual Chinese takeout was closed) and there were about 15 people there also getting food.. this was a good sign. I got beef po mein and shrimp and broccoli. It's definitely the worst lo mein I have ever had I don't know what kind of noodle they used or how they made it state like pure pasty starch but I ended up just picking the meat and few veggies out to eat. Even hot sauce couldn't save that. The shrimp and broccoli was average. The price of everything was good. The aftermath was terrible. I definitely would not recommend.

This is the entire restaurant. Front counter, kitchen and waiting multi-purpose area. Take out only.

If you travel to and from downtown Savannah via Montgomery Street, you have probably seen this small take-out only dining establishment one block north of Victory Boulevard. Someone always appears to waiting for food, so I decided to stop by for lunch and check the place out. I ordered lemon pepper wings and fried rice. The staff was friendly, kitchen area appeared clean and lunch was quickly prepared. The meal is about what I expected. The chicken was crispy and seasoned well. The rice did not stick together but could have used some salt and pepper. Not great tasting food but far from tasting bad, Ming Garden fits the bill if you want to fill your stomach during the day or late evening.

Went here for takeout. For $8something I can't complain much. They serve allot. The Place: They dont have a sit down and eat, its take out only. They are following covid precautions and everyone waits outside after your order. They call you in. The food: The sesame chicken was a little cold. I bet they just reheated a batch they had done but it was still pretty good. The fried rice tasted good even though I've had better ones that include carrot, peas and scrambled eggs. They compensate quality for quantity. The service: excellent, no complaints

I'm in town for business and I had a serious craving for Kung Pao Chicken. After reading the reviews I decided to give this place a try. I didn't ask for onions in my rice, yet there's a ton of them. Way too many veggies in the chicken. More veggies than chicken. I'm disappointed to say the least. The top pic is all the veggies and the bottom is the actual entree. I also order Chicken Fried Rice. The rice wasn't bad, but the chicken in the rice wasn't great. I wish I'd ordered from somewhere else. :(

I'm a person who loves deals, saying that to say this, I wanted to try Ming Garden and I noticed that they offered a lunch special for 4.95 so I ordered 4 meals totaling over 24.00. When I mentioned that online there is a menu from their establishment with false advertising. I ended up going to GREEN TEA ON WATERS AVE and was pleasantly impressed to get FIVE meals totaling CLOSE TO 23.00!!! This is now my new place to go to for awesome Chinese takeout and it's a drive thru!!!!!

We will definitely be coming here again, loved the food! We had the small size onion rings, I can't remember what they call it, but definitely a small serving. The sandwiches were big though. I had the beef brisket sandwich with country gravy and I cannot rave over it enough! A very substantial sandwich, I couldn't finish mine. He had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, also wonderful. We both had the coleslaw, a very generous portion! From now on, this will be THE stop for lunch out at Forsyth Park!

Upon entry, there was a bar and it was very crowded and a little loud. But everyone was super friendly (and respectful) and seemed to be having an awesome time. (Might have stopped in if the entire family hadn't been with me!) A short walk down the hall was Betty Bombers...all real American food. The artwork was awesome, especially since both of my grandfathers were in WWII, and some of it looked familiar. The table ordered everything from salads, to a HUMUNGOUS hotdog for the kid (he originally wanted two and the waitress told him to start with one LOL), cheeseburgers, a pastrami sandwich, and a ration size portion of steak and cheese fries for me. I really liked how they offered smaller portions for a lot of their items, especially since we had a huge lunch. Everyone's food came out but mine. When I pointed it out to the waiter (who didn't take our order), he went to check and said it was his mistake and he would bring it out shortly. It took less than five minutes to come out and he offered me a milkshake for the wait. I had already had Leopold's that day but my cousin hadn't so he got a Mint Chocolate Chip milkshake. He really liked it. All of the food was good. I wanted to point out that my steak and cheese fries said ribeye and queso in the description. Yes, that was probably ribeye (it was tender and delicious) and while it was technically queso, Cheez whiz would have been a more apt description. That's ok, because it was good. Overall, a wonderful experience. I really liked how the waiter took accountability and fixed it. Very much appreciated. I would 100% return.

And it was the chicken was cooked to order, came out super hot, and was both crispy and juicy. The greens were super flavorful and needed no added spices. I'm not a big cornbread guy but took a couple bites anyway. The jalapeños weren't over powering and offset the sweetness a little. My server was amazing!!! She greeted me as soon as I walked with lively smile and great attitude. At first I was confused if it was fast casual or full service as they takeout section is in the center of the restaurant. She explained that you can do both, so opted to stay for lunch. I wish I could recall name, because she is worth requesting.

Looking back, we probably should've kept right on walking. We ordered the fried chicken, potato wedges, red rice, New Orleans rice, and cabbage, jalapeno cornbread and pecan cornbread. Unfortunately, the only things we actually enjoyed were the fried chicken and the potato wedges. Once again, it was an epic fail. The cabbage tasted like it had been boiled in plain water with absolutely no seasoning. Both the red rice and the New Orleans rice reminded us of Minute Rice or Uncle Ben's microwavable rice--bland, lacking flavor, and nothing like the rich, seasoned rice dishes we were expecting. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the potato wedges were cooked perfectly, but those two items weren't enough to save the meal. We came hoping for authentic Southern comfort food, but left disappointed. Sadly, this is one restaurant we won't be adding to our list of places to revisit.
