I am not sure why Panda is rated so low. The food is good. It is fast to get your food and there is plenty of seating. The workers are also very nice. I come here with friends. The price is also good. They also have healthy options. read more

I love everything about this place. I love that's a light jog close to Evergreen Valley College, which is where I ran from to since I'm part of XC. I love the food. I love getting my food quickly after ordering it. And eating with friends my other friends that wanted to eat there as well. The ambience is calm and well-balanced from hearing the sizzling of food, music, and your own voice. It's the perfect place to go after a run. read more

I was here at 10am today. They were supposed to open at 10am, but the doors were locked. There were already about 5 of us waiting to get in. Some of us left after a few more minutes. Finally at 10:10am, a staff member, DIANA, came out and said that the cook is not there. So the rest of us left. This is totally not acceptable. This is not cool :( read more

I love Panda Express are good foods! They are servicing and ambiance and they like it! They service and love it! I love this place!

I've been eating at Panda Express for a long time who doesn't like American Chinese fast food? That orange chicken is such a great invention! It's budget friendly and filling. I usually go to the one on San Felipe Road. I don't usually have any issues there. Once in a while, a staff member gives a smaller portion, but that's about it...haha. I don't expect too much. It's clean, somewhat friendly, convenient & fast! read more

Family decided on eating out mid week. We got there between four and 430 so food was pretty fresh service was pretty fast place was clean we were in and out pretty quick. They just had to make fresh vegetables and restock the honey walnut shrimp other than that very happy five star will return. This is for panda express on San Felipe. read more

Workers are very kind and fast about their service, ordered orange chicken and chow mein plate and it was as good as fast food American-Chinese food could be. Restaurant was clean, I did order to-go around 3pm however. read more

The staff were patient and explained things clearly which helped me feel more comfortable. The doctor took their time asking questions and seemed to really listen to my concerns. The food was good but when I came in and ordered something on the floor dropped and made a loud noise in the kitchen and the one taking my order, Rachel started abusing another lady for dropping it. I think that should be checked out and she should be held accountable for that. Unprofessional behavior read more

Hey, it's a neighborhood place. No one is driving all the way over here unless you're already nearby. The food is solid and what you expect from Chinese fast food. I think it's less greasy than other Pandas. But maybe a a little smaller selection. The food hits the spot. Maybe a little more seasoning would be nice. They have a dining area which isn't super nice but it's fine. And they are very nice & friendly. read more

Food is very fresh. Staffs are all friendly. The portions this store serves are really big. I had to take home half of it. The store is very clean too. It's better than many Chinese restaurants, not only price, but also quality. read more

Sometimes when you play a game of pickleball, you want some yummy Panda afterwards. This is exactly what happened to me and my fiance last Sunday! Post our game we drove over to Panda and got the 3 entree combo which was a fantastic decision. We got the noodles with orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp and the new sesame chicken with the green beans. Orange chicken and shrimp are our normal choices and we loved this. The Sesame chicken which also had honey was also very good - but we realized everything we got was a little more on the sweet side! We also got some cream cheese rangoons which was a fantastic decision. Overall, food was solid, service was fast, and food was plentiful. Ambiance is your standard casual, but I love it! read more

Absolutely incompetent staff. I order 3 things. Lady doesn't say anything but put the box down and scribble on it. Had all 3 items there. She's now serving people after me in line so I stepped to the side. I watch her take care of seven people in line after me. Finally I ask what's going on with my order and it turns out the lady never wrote it down. Now one of the items that I want isn't there and I would be waiting another 15 minutes. Absolute incompetence. read more

Wow, what happen to Panda????? This has to be the worst Panda Expree in the area. I get restaurants have had to struggle to keep open, but Panda. Came here on my way to class because I was starving! Service is alright, they weren't too busy but still took a minute to help the person in front of me. Did they change the chow mein to thicker noodles??? I prefer the thinner ones but maybe it was a chain switch? Ambiance was like any other panda. It was clean for the moment I was in there. I would go back :) read more

Great experience. In and out in less than 5 min! 1. Figure out what you want before entering the store 2. There isn't any line at around 11:10am on a Saturday! 3. Tell the staff what you want. 4. Pay and go. 5. Keep the recipe and do a online survey to score an extra entree for the next visit. The whole transaction took less than 5 min! It's Chinese fast food. Don't have too much expectation. Some entrees are better than others. Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimps are some of the better ones. read more

I really like this location and they have the vegetarian plant based orange chicken, which I'm so grateful for! And the workers are so sweet and so kind. It's very small and cozy restaurant read more

Convenience of ordering Chinese fast food that's already made is extremely convenient considering time. All dishes are good, my favorites are the mushroom chicken, orange chicken, green bean chicken and walnut shrimp. The chow mein isn't the best to be honest, many times it's more cabbage shreds with broken short noodles, end up eating it with a spoon rather than chopsticks or a fork. Portion sizes, now that's definitely really the only downfall. They definitely fill it to a minimum, and many times just when you think they hooked it up with extra orange chicken or that extra broccoli, the worker ends up scooping some back out of your container, so sad. This is the main reason I find myself ordering at another nearby Chinese fast food restaurant rather than ordering here, where they actually fill their container decently with delish food. The location definitely is nice, I mean it's in Evergreen. The store is clean for the most part. What I miss is their hot mustard. That was my favorite sauce to use which has been discontinued. read more

- Placed order on Panda Express app at 6:05 p.m. - Order email stated ready by 6:11 p.m. - Arrived at Panda around 6:18 p.m. - Had to queue outside (6th person outside as there were already 5 indoor). - Was a longer wait than usual. Ended up calling Panda Express location 6 times (6:26; 6:33; 6:36; 6:37; 6:42; 6:43). No one picked up each time. - Around 6:35, however, I was able to enter Panda and head directly to the order online area: my order was not there. So, I headed outside to call and inquire via phone so another customer can be served. As I stood outside, I monitored the Order Online section but did not see any new orders placed there. - Cold, hungry and upset, I decided to leave at 6:43 p.m. and find food elsewhere. - Emailed Panda Customer Service for a refund. I was not having it that night. read more

- good food - bad service This is my local Panda Express and usually the experience is normal of a fast food/ Panda Express. However, one time I went when there were literally 4 people in the restaurant. 1 paying for food and 3 sitting down and eating. There were 4 staff members, 1 cooking, 1 taking order of the other lady and 2 just talking to eschother. All the available staff saw me walk in and wait in line and paid me no attention. When the lady was finished taking the order she then proceeded to do work refilling the food. Only until after she was done did she come take my order. Do better y'all, thanks! read more

I didn't think I would have to read a review on panda express to know how bad they've gotten.my experience is the same as others but i caved in and still paid when i shouldve walked. This place is extremely stingy, chowmein is full of cabbage and portions are half than what you expect. The lady serving even had the audacity to count out 6 honey walnut shrimp to put into the box. When confronted that I was paying extra and wanted a bit more to fill the box, she said 6 shrimp for each order. Gone are the days of the heaping portions of food. They serve you only how much THEY want to give you. Stay away from this location. There's no value and you will feel ripped off. read more

The food was great the service too and ambiance of this is they serve healthy food and half non healthy as well.

I have been coming to this location for years with no problem, so hope this is a temporary low review. Ordered through doordash because of Covid-19. Prices are higher through doordash I think (not confirmed), which l'm ok with since rumor is these delivery services don't leave much profit for the restaurants. What I wasn't ok with was #1 my plates had significantly less food than I normally get, like 1/3 or 1/4 less. Pics don't convey how loose and not packed the food was. #2 ordered the mushroom chicken and it was burnt and tasted of char. Opened up the food and immediate smell = burnt. Traced it to the mushroom chicken which tasted like char through the whole dish (yes, I still ate it). Rangoons were excellent tho. Wow. That char tastes lingers. Had to brush teeth then resorted to listerine to try to get rid of it. read more

Typical fast paced chain. Once you start to order they want to fill you tray and get you outa there. I went there because its so close to my house. I regret it every time. Their motto should be, "pay more to get less." Their portions are half of any other Chinese takeout. Chow Mein is stringy, orange chicken is decent, honey walnut shrimp has lots of batter but flavor is good. Why 1 star? small portions more expensive than most TERRIBLE SERVICE read more

I partly grew up in the suburbs, so I'm familiar with Panda Express. But my family went out to San Francisco weekly, so we'd always bring home food from Chinese takeaway places. I never really ate much Panda Express as there was always Chinese take out in our fridge. Plus, now living in SF, I'm totally spoiled when it comes to Chinese food. In the roommate's hood, there aren't many options for Chinese if you don't want to go far. Since we were having an early dinner, we decided to share a meal for lunch. Stopped by on Saturday, August 2nd around 1pm for take out. *Bigger plate ($8.50): 3 entrees & 1 side -1/2 Chow mein & 1/2 Fried rice -Shanghai angus steak (+$1.25) -Broccoli beef -Black pepper chicken *Chicken egg roll ($1.90) The chow mein was okay, but the rice didn't have much flavor. Plus, there was corn in the rice which the roommate thought was weird. I'd definitely pass on the steak next time as it was super tough. The beef in the broccoli beef was better as it wasn't so dry. The black pepper chicken had lots of black pepper flavor. Was stir fried with celery (I love celery!), but it seems like they didn't peel the celery as some pieces were very stringy. The egg roll was average. I thought the dipping sauce was too sweet. I'd stay away from their hot sauce as it had a very odd flavor. It was spicy, but there was a sweetness of some kind throwing it off. I can't explain it, but I didn't like it. I don't come to Panda Express expecting much. But this meal was very underwhelming. read more

Small portions & old, crusty food. I came here today around 11:30AM, just before the lunch rush. You would expect them to be fully stocked with fresh pans of food, but nope. What was left of almost every dish was the crusty leftovers that they were still trying to sell. I get that they're trying to conserve food + money, but honestly, this has got to be the worst panda express I've ever been to. read more

You know what you're getting when you go to Panda Express. At least the food is pretty consistent across all locations. Unfortunately, they took away the brown fried rice recently. I usually go with the stir fried veggies as my "starch" with mushroom chicken, eggplant tofu, and beef with broccoli. It's hit or miss after 8:30pm here though. Their trays may be empty or half full. if you ask, they'll actually make a fresh portion for you though. Don't forget to fill out the survey to get a free side. They won't let you add the side to a 3 item combination anymore. So in order to use the coupon you'll need to order the 2 item combo and use the coupon for the 3rd item. The staff here are friendly and easy to communicate with. It's not the greatest food out there but it's not bad... read more

I had an amazing experience today! The customer service I received today was incredible!!!! Would like to give prep cook "An" a amazing review to speak on how helped with my daughters meal! We don't eat dark meat used on the teriyaki chicken entree so he willingly made us breast meat with no hesitation for swap...which normally would never happen in food service with someone going "above and beyond " to service the customer!!!
