Panda Express is just that express food. When dealing with fast food I don't have very high hopes. This panda express met all of those hopes. It's not the worst I've had, but nowhere near the best. The noodles were cold, and beef for beef broccoli was a little over cooked. Again, I didn't have high hopes. If it's late at night and you want something that slightly resembles Asian food it might be a good choice. I could easily give 1 star, but in total honesty I think 2 stars is what they deserve. The owner is not a very good business person because she doesn't understand the basics. - no greetings from anyone when you walk in the door - the owner doesn't seem like she can wear a smile - food is old, they wait until everything runs completely out before they refill (there was only a few crispy shrimp left and they would still not refill until it was all gone) tsk - mediocre food - worst service ever read more

I'm saddened by the rating this store receives. I've been a consistent customer of Panda Express since their opening. This restaurant is of amazing quality, enough so that I give 5 stars. With working in the restaurant industry I find myself being more sympathetic to busy times and bad dating in that industry. I have personally talked to every lineman/line woman at least once and each one of your employees separate times have started conversation with me just from familiarity. I can't eat anything here right now due to my annoying food allergies but I have eaten at many Panda Express locations as well as been in a handful in California and other parts of the United States. Although I can't comment on the tasting of the food-the friends I went with said it was very good and it did look appetizing and more so than some locations I have been in. The cleanliness of this place is what I wanted to comment and write a review on because it stood out to me for that reason! I haven't been in a Panda Express that was this big or that was so clean and put together. The atmosphere of it was definitely a place I would have felt 100% comfortable eating at if I had been able to order anything. They had all of their menu options which is rare to see and I have been in many locations where they were simply out of certain items or didn't carry them. That was not the case with this location. They had a full staff and you could tell everything was getting prepared fresh and ready to order. It didn't appear that they had food sitting out for hours waiting to be ordered by customers. I have seen this at most of the locations I have been to so that was what I had to comment and write a review about for this location, they keep it up very nicely. read more

Great food, fresh, friendly service! If they get your order wrong they don't argue with you, they take care of it. No gluten free selections, but the steamed rice and steamed vegetables work in a pinch. read more

We just an order delivered. I ordered ab 3 item combo and it was wrong. They gave me very little chow mien and 3 pieces of Orange Chicken, very little Kung pao chicken and forgot my 3rd item. My son's order completely wrong. He ordered Teriyaki chicken and the gave him Orange Chicken. He ordered a Large Kung Pao Chicken side and they gave him a large Chow Mien. I was very disappointed when I went to the Kalispell Panda last night for a Valentines Day dinner. I live 20 some miles away and picked up, what I usually get, and drove home. The plastic bags are NOT the best way to pack those Styrofoam containers since they leak if the bag is tilted at all. They had my husbands' entrée container on top of mine, so when the bag tilted, all of his HOT choices ended up running into my container. My bad, in not making sure it was ABSOLUTELY level. Then to top it all off, I get home and when I opened the container I went to taste the chow mein, it was burned! I couldn't believe it! It was a fluke, I know, but when I tried to call to let them know, the phone just rang and no one picked up. Went on line to let them know, and couldn't get to anywhere to make a difference. I went to the back on the receipt and the on line comment was how was my experience, will I go back, and would I recommend. When I checked the boxes it said, thank you for your comments! NOTHING asking why I rated the way I did or anything. I will go back, eventually, but you can bet I will be tasting my food BEFORE I leave there and making sure I have somewhere totally level to place my bag. read more

This place used to be my absolute favorite to eat of all time but the last time I went I got severe food poisoning and I was a little disappointed. My friend got food poisoning from it before and told me not to go but I trusted my food taste, I ended up feeling like death afterwards. read more

Our first experience at this P.E. location may be our last. The restaurant was very busy, and almost all of the dishes were empty. Though we had a large order, nothing was so complex that we should be shoved off by the server (3 bowls, 3 2-item combos). The last person in our party was completely ignored, and had what ended up being a surprise combo. Luckily, she didn't get get one of the items with mushrooms, as she has a severe allergy. The only friendly person during the encounter was the cashier, and she seemed to be reaching her limit. Just ate here for lunch. Rice and noodles were cold as was the entire staff. Also had crab ran goons and spring rolls which were average. Food might have been good had it been hot or even warm. Not even a smile from anyone working there. This our second time coming here as we were giving them another chance but this was the last time. I think as Panda Express goes this one is pretty good. I only gave 3 stars instead of 4 because some of the people aren't too friendly. Just want to express how pleasant one employee is. Every time I go In it seems I see the same lady at the register. She is pleasant and always smiling. I find it refreshing. I remember when Panda Express opened in Kalispell and it was awesome! They gave you large entree portions and you really felt like you were getting your money's worth. Well, it's really gone down hill since then. Despite the line moving at the speed of snail, I keep going...hoping that it will get better. It doesn't. To avoid the long lines I've taken to ordering online and picking up. Sometimes that works, but about half the time my food still isn't ready when I get there. "Oh, sorry. We ran out of orange chicken." Orange chicken? You mean the main dish people come to your establishment to eat? Hey, I know, if you sell that much orange chicken maybe you should make more than one batch at a time! Here is where I get really angry. That past two times I've eaten there I've ordered a plate to go. You know, styrofoam container with two small spaces for entrees and one large space for the side? I drive home drooling with anticipation to dig into my delicious dinner, flip open the white foam lid to find...disappointment. They've loaded the container with so much rice that's laid a half inch bed across both entree areas. Oh, and the entrees ( broccoli beef and kungpao chicken ) must have escaped somewhere between the restaurant and my home. To avoid capture they threw three broccoli sprigs the size of softballs on the top and ran out the back! Sorry beef, I know the difference between vegetables and meat. I kid you not, I ate three pieces of beef the size of dime, and two pieces of Kung Pao chicken that didn't even possess enough flavor to put the little hot pepper icon next to it. I'm not an idiot. I know that rice is dirt cheap compared to meat, and if you can fill the box with dirt cheap food and sprinkle something on top that looks expensive people might feel they're get their money's worth. It's not working. Management, if you want to make more money, give people what they want. Faster service and good food. It all begins and ends with you. Don't waste your money at this location! Worst service I've ever experienced. Expect to wait in line all day. My food was terrible, the food had obviously sat there for an eternity, the meats were dead cold. The rice and noodles barely warm, the food was disgusting all flavor was evaporated after sitting under a heat lamp for hours, tasted and looked like mush. I then asked to get fresh food which was a mistake. The ladies were very rude and began to question me, they touched and felt my food as if I were lying. They asked a line cook to fire more broccoli beef but they were in the middle of a truck shipment and he said there wasn't anymore in the store. The ladies then passively aggressively told me they would make sure I got more fresh food. I waited for another 15 minutes and no food was even started yet, they just wanted to make me wait as long as possible. I had to go after spending and hour there, and couldn't even get the correct refund for my food. All while being treated terribly because I didn't want to eat cold food. The manager continued to try and not give me my money, while insisting on buying my meal next time. There will be no next time, terrible establishment, terribly managed. My husband and I visited this for the very first time yesterday. I had been ragging on him ever since we moved here in 2012 to take me there and so, when he finally did, I was hoping and praying he would like it. He did--I did---, however, I was totally not impressed with how fast you had to go through the line and order, especially when we had never been there before. I will go back but only when it is an off time and we can take our time to make choices off of the menu without being rushed. read more

We ordered online for the first time, and I have to say, I'm very impressed. We usually go at an off-time, like 3:30 in the afternoon, but we wanted dinner tonight prime-time. We decided to try online ordering, and I'm so glad we did. All our usual entrees and options were available, along with a personal request spot,where I requested hot mustard. I arrived two minutes after the approximated finish time, and all I was waiting for was the eggroll and rangoon, which I appreciated being held in the steam table for me. I made sure I had teriyaki sauce for my teriyaki chicken and sweet and sour for the appetizers, and since I'd already paid online, I was off and running. My husband was waiting in the car with the AC running, and we were home, round trip, and almost done eating within an hour, which for semi-rural Montana is saying something! Yes, this is scoop-and-serve Chinese food, but for the price, and honestly, freshness, to be found in the area, it's a winner. We find the employees to be friendly and helpful. We've gone here at various times of day; most often in the late afternoon. Our most recent trip was at about 5pm; EVERY steam table was full of fresh food, we were offered samples (didn't take them up on it, as we knew what we wanted) and we were moved right along in a timely fashion. We got our food 'to go', and sat outside to eat a portion of it before continuing on our way. The tables inside (and outside) were clean, the garbages were empty,and they seemed to be fully staffed for the upcoming rush. I didn't use the restroom, but I have in the past, and it was clean. The beef and broccoli might could use a bit more beef, but I really think you can't go wrong with any of the chicken dishes, especially the teriyaki chicken, as it's moist delicious thigh meat.
