    Shrimp Big!
    Steve S.

I liked this place very much. First the atmosphere was perfect with a screen playing Bollywood music and greeted with enthusiasm. I had the shrimp biryani and tandoori chicken. The shrimp in the biryani were large and delicious. Tandoori chicken was also very tasteful with the yogurt dipping sauce. This is very flavorful and spiced meal and the portions were very large. I highly recommend coming here. Place got packed after I got there.

Oof so spicy! What I got a couple of items! Gobi Manchurian - It was good, not the best. I think it was in Medium Spicy (which was very spicy to me), The batter was good and the cauliflower was crunchy (almost like chicken?). Truffle Dosa - I tasted the truffle oil fragrant in the dosa which was quite different that's why I got it. Though I feel the dipping sauces and the Indian spices drowns the truffle. Great concept though, but very conflicting on what I want - truffle fragrant or the Indian spices! Lamb Biryani - This was very spicy as well (though he suggested medium...I need baby spicy) - I thought the rice was good, but felt the meat was not fresh. Overall it was ok Environment This was located in the plaza on the end, close to the Homewood Suites. There is plenty of parking available, so not hard to find. The inside was pretty big, there is plenty of seating available from tables and also booths. Niceness of the staff SUPER SUPER nice staff! I was able to pick the seat (maybe it wasn't busy) and also the guy taking my order had patience. Dollar I thought was decently priced. The biryani was 20, truffle dosa 12, Manchurian around 12. the total was 40 something. Not bad Yes/No? I would return here if I was in the area. But would order other items to try it.

They've finally debuted the weekend lunch buffet! We love Indian and also love buffets, so we were excited to try this. They offer a nice variety of options. Some dishes have more heat than others. The sauce flavors are good. However, the meats are bland and overcooked. The rice is crunchy. The naan bread was dried out, and they didn't replenish it when it was empty. I don't know about you, but I like a little nibble of tasty, warm naan with my food. Their salad is a worthless pile of veggies. Dessert gulag jamun is good, carrot pudding isn't to my taste. We had to wait a while for our waters and they didn't get refilled. For the price, I don't think I'll be back.

So glad to know this is right here in Kalispell and glad to see the town getting even more ethnic diversity into its food scene. First visit here. Food was delicious and the service was pleasant and efficient. Had the tika tandoori chicken skewers which were tender and very flavorful. Can't wait to visit again and try other dishes.

Was pleasantly surprised to find this nice and new Indian eatery in Kalispell and this made my trip to the glacier national park awesome! We had a delicious brunch here on our way to the park and packed a lot of food for us to enjoy in the park and we again ate dinner and brunch on our way back from the park. What we loved the most: masala dosa was very good, chicken lollipops were juicy, spicy, finger licking delicious, rasmalai was the best rasmalai I have ever had in US, very authentic! and tandoori rotis were sooooo good, so authentic ! dal tadka was yummm (came with rice), chai, coffee (Bru, indian style) really refreshing and tasty. What could be better: Pani puri (khatta meetha pani could have been better), rose lassi (thin and lacking sourness of yogurt, tasted more like rose milk), Chicken biryani and dhaba chicken didn't quiet do it for us. Dhaba chicken seemed to have a coconut based gravy which was very different from my expectation and chicken biryani could have used more spices. Service was good, we got all our food served pretty quick, and the servers were very attentive and friendly and also packed our to go food really well for our long trip. Gave me an extra rasmalai as well .. I was sooo happy because I really loved it. Overall we really loved this place and the food and I will definitely eat here again when I visit kalispell again!

My goat dish that was 1/3 bones.

Short version: Americanized, watered down flavors, small portions, and high prices. Full version: I'm very excited whenever I get the chance to try new Indian restaurants. I'm a native Montanan, but I lived abroad in India for a short time, and my wife is also from India. I would really like to give a great review and had high hopes. But our experience tonight was disappointing. First, the prices are pretty high for Kalispell. Approximately $20 a plate or more for most things. That's fine, as long as the food is good and portions are large. Unfortunately, the food was pretty Americanized. The spices were watered down, things were overly creamy, and--a sure sign that things aren't authentic--everything was sweet. (This isn't supposed to be Thai curry, right?) The staff seemed very concerned about the spice level. Trust me, there's nothing to worry about here--it was not spicy at all (and we asked for spicy). The waitstaff also convinced me to go for goat (for an extra $2). I'm aware that Indians often serve goat meat with bones. But my meal was 1/3 bones. My wife also was served a very small amount of rice. Lastly, the atmosphere wasn't wonderful. They had a huge TV showing a sensually dressed DJ, and the techno music just really didn't fit the experience or the cuisine. (I wouldn't want my kids watching what was on that screen.) If you like food that is more Americanized, you may think this place is great. I do hope they succeed. But I feel they have a lot of work to do. Make it Indian. Make the portion sizes right. Make the atmosphere match. Make it worth the high prices.

    Excellent Curry.

It boasts of barbecue style sandwiches and menu and this place was packed on a Friday at 3pm! Hosts looked like are the owners of the place made every effort to go above and beyond to seat the guests and look after them. They have the bar seating facing the kitchen where we occupied the last 2 seats remaining in the restaurant getting the live action right in front of us. We ordered the PBJ (pork belly jelly bites) and brisket cheese steak sandwich with jalapeno mac n cheese on the side. Both the dishes were amazing and we will surely stop by here again when in the area. The whole sassy sandwiches section look like a must try. Only thing we will try to avoid here is the desserts that were not bad at all but because we saw them being made in front of us now we know it is just assembled we may not order more of that. We got the huckleberry peach cobbler and banana pudding. Both the dishes aren't really made from scratch and had we not seen how they're assembled we may not judge it too harshly.

I think she needs more training in service. The owners were very nice and exemplified what I think service should be. The bacon mac was not good and rather flavorless. Mac & cheese is one of the benchmarks of a good BBQ place. Collard greens I think had BBQ sauce? making them very tangy and not good at all, almost inedibly sour for me. They tasted better the next day mixed with other things. Elk sausage came smothered in more BBQ sauce and mustard. I wish these were on the side so that I could control how much sauce was on there. Cornbread seemed good but if I really looked at it, the cornbread was rather bland and the server instructed us to put honey on it. Well anything is good when you pour honey & butter over it. Loved the decor. I think because they're so busy, it became quantity over quality, unfortunately.

The dining area is fairly large and comfortable. Feels very old school but also happened to have someone playing the piano with some classic western ish vibes if you know what I mean that really gave this more charm. Food is very generous and definitely recommend splitting the prospectors breakfast. Chicken fried steak, a monster biscuit, hash browns and two eggs with gravy is a lot to take down. Even if you were to do a long after, not sure you can burn off this many calories. Chicken fried steak is good - thin and crisp but with a breadcrumb like crust instead of the floured stuff I'm used to getting down south. Sausage gravy is flavorful and a classic pairing but you can also opt for brown gravy instead. The biscuit is moist and a good utensil to soak up the gravy. Eggs and hash browns needed seasoning - there's no salt on it so add it yourself but the griddled crisp on the hash browns were good. Some of my friends got the home fries but noted they weren't that great so stick with the hash. Accessible parking downtown and a good stop to fuel up!

They did have a barcode to scan and track your order on your phone so I did that. It let me track my order but had no receipt option. So I had to go to the counter and ask for one. Order came out pretty quickly. This is what I ate: 1 - latte - this was the best thing I ordered and was pretty good. Right amount of froth and temperature was good. Quality espresso as well. 2 - Croissant bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. This was a pre-made breakfast sandwich that they heated in a microwave. Similar to what you would get at Starbucks. Nothing special, just ok. 3 - Cinnamon roll - I saw they advertised a "new recipe" for this and I enjoy a good cinnamon roll and gave it a try. This was the WORST thing I ordered.
