Busy place for a hearty breakfast. Staff was friendly and attentive. Menu had plenty to choose from and I went with huevos rancheros and it was plenty and delicious. Very good flavors and didn't need siracha.

Great (and huge) local breakfast spot. If you're in Kalispell do not pass this one up. Definitely try the CFS

When it comes to breakfast, this place definitely knows what's up. It gets packed though. Which we don't mind waiting. I love the 10 cent coffee between 7-9 that's such an awesome thing. The service was good but it was definitely hectic and slightly disorganized. The French toast was some of the absolute best I've ever had! The Huevos rancheros were not my favorite, they were fine but as someone who has spent a lot of time in New Mexico, the rancheros sauce wasn't the best.

I'm pretty sure we've been here before, but I didn't do a review, so... Ya gotta do what'cha gotta do, right? I ordered the Smoke House Hash which turned out to be DELICIOUS! The service was attentive (refilling of coffee) without being too much. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. Definitely a place to come back to! Photo of Breakfast Saddlebag for added interest. Had a couple of bites and it was excellent too...

The huckleberry bread pudding is worth a trip alone. But the breakfasts are also fantastic. I had the Benedict with brisket and pulled pork, plus green chilies - so good!

There is a decent sized parking lot for the restaurant or street parking options as well. We were able to get a table right away. The waitress Kayla) was friendly and took our order in the small written script I have seen. She was also efficient. The interior is open but has the diner feel. The food was good. I liked the hollandaise sauce and would try the eggs Benedict in the future. My hashborwns were crunch and the gluten free toast was decent. My dad enjoyed his burger. The portion size is good, I don't think you will leave hungry. The one thing to call out is the 4% credit card fee (will be removed if you use cash). It isn't posted and we didn't see it on the bill it was added in assuming a credit card would be used.

Wow what an amazing place! We sat in Hunters section and she was awesome. This was the best dining experience I've had in awhile! We will definitely be back! I highly recommend checking this place

Great vibe- shop on the other side of the restaurant. Don't leave without buying an $8 colorful souvenir Sykes mug!!!!

What a fun local place to eat! We are out of town visitors who enjoyed looking around the shop while we waited just a few minutes to be seated for breakfast. Best price I've seen for a souvenir coffee mug !!! Just $8 and it comes in many colors. All four of us loved our meals- they were large and filling. The omelets and hash browns were delicious. It's obvious that the locals love eating here and we like to find places like this when traveling. Make a point to come here!! Loved the vibe here, especially the friendliness of the manager and staff. We will return if ever back this way!

A homey feeling diner that is tucked on the side of a grocery store and pharmacy. There seem to be a lot of locals that stop in that are frequent patrons. The portions are quite large and you will definitely be full and have leftovers. We got the hearty breakfast with a side of pancakes and the special that morning; an egg scramble. The bacon was thick and not too soggy or too crispy, and the scramble was hearty with sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, and a side of hashbrowns. Sykes is a fantastic local restaurant that offers a classic homestyle breakfast.

We had lunch here a few years ago and it was very good. On this are most recent trip to Kalispell we ate there again and I was even more impressed with the service and food.

This is a perfect hometown breakfast place. Large large portions and good prices. Usually you will wait a few minutes if you have more than 2 in your party. My wild mushroom eggs Benedict was ok. Eggs under cooked and mushrooms were very very wild tasting. My husband had the special, green onion biscuit covered in gravy. It was delicious. Def will return. Eggs Benedict 6/10. Biscuit and gravy 10/10.

My parents moved to Montana years ago and we typically visit Sykes for a meal when we visit. The first time we visited was probably 8+ years ago before the apartments were even built on top (of memory serves right). It hasn't changed much in the last few years which I appreciate - it's a quaint diner specializing in breakfast and some lunch items. This time we went for lunch, and my husband got the pot roast dip and I got the hot honey chicken sandwich with a side of the special soup - black bean chorizo. The sandwich was huge! Chicken was a little crispy but the flavor was there, and the soup was tasty too. My parents got breakfast items with a side of onion rings - the onion rings were definitely overdone but would've been tasty. Our waitresses were very attentive and always checked in to see if we wanted more coffee. Really like stopping here when we're in down!

Service was great. Breakfast not so much! Over easy eggs were watery, tasteless sausage, and hashbrowns were tasteless. Won't go back.

Food was good too! I got a Stumptown Omelette, my husband got a burrito. Hash browns with it were very plain. We missed out on the pies but I hear they're great. Service 3/5: The older woman serving us was not in a great mood which was evident because she gave a younger guy working an attitude about the location of something in the cafe right in front of us. She put in my husband's order completely wrong (egg Benedict instead of a burrito) , and originally our food came out together but we had to wait for his to be cooked which we don't care but having a toddler there always makes every second feel much longer, but it was SO fast to come out. Also they gave us an orange juice instead of the apple juice we requested. We lived with it, my toddler doesnt have meltdowns over that yet. Ambiance: simple cafe. Don't think it's handicap accessible. There are stairs to get down when you walk in the door. We left our stroller in the car. Overall we heard such amazing great things but it was relatively average for our experience! Maybe just the Sunday rainy morning we went. But for a $50-60 breakfast for 2.5 people we will not return during our trip.

There is only scrambled of hard cooked egg. ***No yolky eggs*** and no pancakes. We didn't realize coming in. And when we got the cheesy scrambler, the eggs were VERY "wet". Now I don't want to start any rumor but they were very similar to how hotel breakfasts boil bags of prepackaged scrambled eggs then chop it up and serve it. Point being, unsure if they were fresh. I'm pregnant so I was skeptical at first to eat since they were so wet and runny. My husbands chicken fried steak was square. Another indication he thought it was prepackaged frozen. Both came with size of potato's and they were great! Crunchy on outside and soft on inside My toddler got the French toast sticks though and those were so yummy. They gave him crayons and a coloring paper which was nice! High chairs are available. My husband just assumed it all was reheated from the freezer isle. But I'm less difficult to impress, especially for breakfast, and usually he is too just something felt off here. And if the runny eggs didn't make me question than I probably would've never noticed anything. The woman working was so sweet and attentive. Old-school diner feel. It is self seating and you order at the counter. There was only one other couple there with us, not busy at all. Went on a Monday morning.
