Must be my lucky day. Cool brunch joint and across the street from BRCC.... Win win. Super cool place. Cafe style, lil shop with all kinds of cool swag and a pharmacy all in the same place. We ordered a variety of food. Pancakes, omelette, and corned beef hash. Was super busy, had about a 20 min wait on a Tuesday which was interesting but overall the food was great, coffee was ok but the waitress and staff were awesome. They have a piano in their cafe which had a wonderful young lady playing it and a tip jar supporting local veterans. Can't go wrong when supporting veterans and first responders. Will be back again. Great job and keep up the great work. Update: Went back again today with my cousin, had another great waitress take care of us. My cousin had an omelette with a biscuit which he loved and I had the Reuben sammich which was utterly phenomenal. We Loved it. Also manager gave me a sticker which I will happily put on my gun case. When it comes to breakfast, this place definitely knows what's up. It gets packed though. Which we don't mind waiting. I love the 10 cent coffee between 7-9 that's such an awesome thing. The service was good but it was definitely hectic and slightly disorganized. The French toast was some of the absolute best I've ever had! The Huevos rancheros were not my favorite, they were fine but as someone who has spent a lot of time in New Mexico, the rancheros sauce wasn't the best. read more

There is a decent sized parking lot for the restaurant or street parking options as well. We were able to get a table right away. The waitress Kayla) was friendly and took our order in the small written script I have seen. She was also efficient. The interior is open but has the diner feel. The food was good. I liked the hollandaise sauce and would try the eggs Benedict in the future. My hashborwns were crunch and the gluten free toast was decent. My dad enjoyed his burger. The portion size is good, I don't think you will leave hungry. The one thing to call out is the 4% credit card fee (will be removed if you use cash). It isn't posted and we didn't see it on the bill it was added in assuming a credit card would be used. read more

Most of the time the food is great. The gravy with the biscuits and gravy doesn't usually have all that much flavor, but I usually get it anyway. We also tend to get the club sandwich , the French toast, the breakfast burrito, salads, all good. Good homemade bleu cheese dressing as well! The service is generally pretty dull & it can be hard to get someone's attention (busy or not). Like the vibe there though. If we could afford to go more often, we absolutely would. Oh! What a fun local place to eat! We are out of town visitors who enjoyed looking around the shop while we waited just a few minutes to be seated for breakfast. Best price I've seen for a souvenir coffee mug !!! Just $8 and it comes in many colors. All four of us loved our meals- they were large and filling. The omelets and hash browns were delicious. It's obvious that the locals love eating here and we like to find places like this when traveling. Make a point to come here!! A homey feeling diner that is tucked on the side of a grocery store and pharmacy. There seem to be a lot of locals that stop in that are frequent patrons. The portions are quite large and you will definitely be full and have leftovers. We got the hearty breakfast with a side of pancakes and the special that morning; an egg scramble. The bacon was thick and not too soggy or too crispy, and the scramble was hearty with sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, and a side of hashbrowns. My parents moved to Montana years ago and we typically visit Sykes for a meal when we visit. The first time we visited was probably 8+ years ago before the apartments were even built on top (of memory serves right). It hasn't changed much in the last few years which I appreciate - it's a quaint diner specializing in breakfast and some lunch items. This time we went for lunch, and my husband got the pot roast dip and I got the hot honey chicken sandwich with a side of the special soup - black bean chorizo. The sandwich was huge! Chicken was a little crispy but the flavor was there, and the soup was tasty too. My parents got breakfast items with a side of onion rings - the onion rings were definitely overdone but would've been tasty. The service was fast and friendly and the vibe was diner like definitely not quiet. All and all good. Came by for breakfast. I walked inside and was told I could sit at the counter or pick a table at the end. It was just me so I sat down at the counter. Wanted to order the daily special - huckleberry French toast. Tried to order from the person that brought me a glass of water. She said she couldn't take my order but my server would be here soon. Watched several servers walk by to get waters for their tables. 15 minutes passed by and NO SERVER CAME! I gave up and sat at a nearby table. Water lady didn't recognize me as she asked me if I wanted some coffee. I said no but that I am ready to order. Finally one of the servers that passed by me at the counter several times stopped to take my order. Food was pretty good. I liked the French toast and their bacon was thick and high quality. Quite a distance from the park but if you're in Kalispell, Sykes is a must! Cute little store to browse through while you wait for the table. Ordered the corned beef hash and Benedict ranchero. Both very good but the Benedict was good on another level. The ranchero sauce was out of this world and blended in so well with the rest of the ingredients on your plate! We grabbed breakfast here after getting our marriage license at the county courthouse - this place looked like it would have served up some nice family style breakfast but we did not enjoy our meal. It is also connected to a convenient store and pharmacy which was nice because we got to grab some necessities without having to make another stop at a store. I got some eggs, sausage, bacon and French toast. The French toast had raisins and I think cinnamon in it and it was not good. The chicken fried steak Benedict looked good but 0/10 for taste - half of it was covered in Hollandaise sauce and the other half in gravy and even with it covered in sauce, it lacked flavor.
