Stopped in for breakfast not knowing what to expect. What a great restaurant and breakfast stop. Service is very attentive and quick to fill your coffee cup. Many choices but I went with the Hungry Man Biscuits and Gravy. I could not finish it. Would definitely recommend this place.

Good old down home food, good reasonable prices, best waitress staff and cooks. Also the best Cinnamon Rolls you can get anywhere.

Two block off Main Street. Enjoyed our visit. Folksy diner, pharmacy, etc. Food was reasonably priced, and efficiently served. Nice selection, including breakfast all-day items. Special treat was the piano serenade by the owner, accompanied by two friends on violin.

Trivia: Ceres is known as a dwarf planet but I think the mythological connection makes more sense…read more Who is Ceres in Roman mythology? The live planter in the back is super cool! Really makes the seating area come to life! Ha! The cooler with ginger beer and kombucha had one small flaw: there were no nutrition facts. The baristas/bakers didn't have much to say on the matter. So I didn't get one. Service was friendly. It was fast. Definitely a good spot to duck into as one works their way along the shops on Main Street.

When you walk in, fresh smells waft over you and it makes your tummy rumble (at least it did mine). All their baked goods are very fresh and look delicious! My only qualms are with the coffee and atmosphere. Either our coffees were burnt or we just don't like the roast (I got a caramel latte, she got a chai latte). We still drank them because they weren't absolutely disgusting, they just tasted off and not something you'd want to drink regularly. As for the atmosphere, the space was very cute and well laid out - there are plants and paintings throughout to bring color and joy. However, Carolers came in for about 15 minutes.. with brass instruments! I understand "tis the season" and I love the Christmas spirit, but I also don't want a trombone blasting music 10 feet from my table on a lazy Sunday morning... a little disappointed Ceres allowed them to do this, but I also don't want to be a Scrooge... If you want a good cinnamon roll or breakfast sandwich I think this is the spot! But maybe temper expectations for coffee? Might just be me, but also worth a visit if you want. Happy Holidays!

It was a Tuesday morning, but the place was packed. Parking was a bit tougher than other neighboring towns, but we luckily snagged a street spot when someone pulled out. The ambiance of the shop is so cute and relaxing, especially during the holidays. It's the quintessential coffee shop vibe where you can catch up with a friend, read a book, or do some work. And there are spaces/seats for each persona in here. We first just ordered the sticky toffee latte (less sweet), but it was so good that we ordered the peppermint mocha quickly after. Most times, I am often disappointed by flavored lattes that are overly sweet and lose the coffee flavor, but not here. Not only did their flavors taste unique, but they were the perfect balance of coffee and flavor. They take their time pulling the shots so that the espresso itself is well done. They were seriously memorable. I'm sad we live out of state, but if I'm ever back in Kalispell, I would definitely come back here (like every day, lol).

Very nice interior with comfortable seating and nice lighting. Ordered an iced Americano with a splash of half and half. 20 ounce was only $4.50, a huge value!!! For the most part, we have been very satisfied with our orders and have consistently left tips to show our appreciation for the baristas and their service. However, in late December, before driving to Ronan, we stopped at Sable shortly after 7:20 p.m. We ordered two drinks, both of which were bitter and burned...completely undrinkable. We did not notice immediately, as we picked up dinner at Frugal's and left our drinks for the drive home. By the time we realized the drinks were spoiled, it was too late to return before Sable closed at 8 p.m., and we had to discard them. That evening, I contacted management with a brief, polite message including the time of our visit and the exact drinks ordered. I did not request a refund; I simply inquired whether the drinks could possibly be remade in the future. I received no response, acknowledgment, or follow-up. While I understand the need to guard against potential scams, I can easily demonstrate our consistent patronage and spending at Sable over the years. It was disappointing that my courteous attempt to communicate was entirely ignored.

Hidden Gem for Authentic Kazakh Cuisine - Hungry Hun…read more If you're ever near Kalispell (just 14 minutes from FCA Airport), don't miss Hungry Hun - a hole-in-the-wall Kazakh restaurant tucked inside a half-dead mall. At first glance, the setting might feel unusual: an old shop converted into an open kitchen with a small seating area that overlooks the quiet mall. But don't let the location fool you--this place serves up some of the most authentic, homemade Kazakhstan food you'll ever find in Montana. We ordered the lamb and leek dumplings and the lamb kabob served with naan bread. Both dishes were fantastic--the dumplings were juicy and full of flavor, while the kabob was perfectly chargrilled and tender. Every bite tasted fresh and lovingly prepared. The servers were warm, welcoming, and eager to recommend menu options, which made the experience even better. The seating may not be glamorous, but the food more than makes up for it. Hungry Hun has been open for two years now, and they also run a food truck in Whitefish, so locals and visitors alike have more than one way to enjoy their cooking. If you're looking for something authentic, unique, and delicious in Kalispell, Hungry Hun is absolutely worth the stop.
