We had the best breakfast there this morning. Serenity was our friendly waitress that was fast and efficient. My husband had the blueberry pancakes that were wonderful. I had the Classic Breakfast of eggs, bacon, and toast. My son had THe Scramble. It was an omelet that was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was relaxing and friendly. What great spot for breakfast. Don't read this review, just go eat breakfast or lunch and Dzm me a "thank you". Here was our good experience: Orange Juice - freshly squeezed, incredibly good. Green tea - just normal teabags you steep. Clam Chowder - Riduculously good! Sweet Potato Fries - very good. 2 Eggs - a side, had them with cheese, so good. Blueberry Pancakes - this is what I came for, but it was disappointing, served with butter maple syrup, but I thought it all lacked flavor. Corned Beef on Rye - great sandwich, great flavors, hit of the table. Our server was Babas and she was FANTASTIC, making us feel like we were at her home. read more

The main thing was that my eggs Benedict were overcooked with solid yolks. The faux "Hollandaise sauce" was some thickened, cloying, yellowish substitute that bore no relation to egg yolks, butter, and lemon juice. It was awful. The English muffin had been compressed flat, as if run through an antique clothes wringer. The best part was the side potatoes. They were nicely browned and tasted like potatoes. The café's ambiance was dominated by edgy, annoying pop music. We got seated at first underneath a speaker, and even after they lowered the volume for us it was too obnoxious for conversation, so we moved to another table where the noise was more in the background. One of their restrooms was out of order, so there was sometimes a line formed at the other one, which only had a single toilet. The wait staff seemed friendly and attentive. read more

Food was OK, but overall expensive for the quality. Service was slow - took a long time for food to come out and not too attentive on the coffee refills. One of our orders was wrong. My husband, my toddler, and I have come into this restaurant a couple of times. Every single time is 5 stars. Amazing service, amazing food, amazing everything. We brought some out of town friends to eat and they were extremely impressed. We've been served twice by Babs, and we could not ask for a better experience when she takes care of us. I joined friends for breakfast and we were all very pleased. Our orders were delivered quickly despite the server being slammed by more customers. The portions are generous and tasty. The dining room is pleasant though much too cold this morning. Our server was very pleasant despite being so busy. The chicken fried steak was enough to feed three people. Get your eggs scrambled not basted, you might as well have a hard boiled egg. Service is great, the ambiance is simplistic. They stopped serving waffles, and hash brown potatoes, bummer. read more

The food is average to poor. When we went at just after noon they were out of their signature syrup, hash browns, and waffles. The house potatoes were terrible and probably came out of a bag. The scramble was like an omelette and burned on one side. I ordered a side of bacon which was overcooked and my French toast was cold. The first thing is the smell, best described as musty. Not how you want to start your day. Food was reminiscent of a school cafeteria. They no longer serve hashbrowns, but you can pay extra for "hashbrown patties" which were obviously from the frozen food department. The breakfast sandwich was supposed to have tomato. The waitress said we could have paid extra for the tomato and that she didn't bother to learn the menu because it was being changed. Biscuits and gravy were unimpressive. They charge extra for credit cards, although that is not on the menu. Eat somewhere else. read more

Can't wait to go back. Went during breakfast rush. Attentive and friendly wait staff that kept coming back to refill coffee. Fantastic and delicious food. Fresh ingredients- fresh onions, tomatoes, avocado and black beans. Our waffle was so delicious as well. Had a crisp to it and their house made maple butter sauce was outstanding.
