It has a lot of Montana beers on draft. We ordered pizza and the pretzel. We wanted to try the pies but they were out. Pizza hit the spot. Pretzel was okay. Beer was tasty. We had played some pool (it was free!) It wasn't super busy at first but picked up later in the evening. Seemed to be a mix of tourists and locals/people who worked at Glacier for the summer. Two other parties entered after us. Both were greeted by the two ladies behind the bar welcoming them and saying they'd be right with them. Both parties seated and immediately served water. One even ordered before we were given menus. We still had not been acknowledged at table. No water and no menu. As we were getting ready to leave one of the ladies behind the bar broke from her conversation with patrons at bar and brought us menus. The French dip I ordered was quite good but the fries were dark brown and looked and tasted like they'd been sitting around for quite awhile. Given prices at restaurants anymore not acceptable. Service after this was ok with waitress coming back to table to see what else we needed but overall experience was not great. This was our 2nd time here this season. The first was a little better. When your business likely survives on a tourist industry your service better be a lot better. We've tried this place twice and won't be going back. We get much better service and better food quality at restaurant next door. We will continue going there from now on. Can't recommend this place given our experiences.

Management provided 2 chips for free drinks at the Dew Drop Inn that is located at the front of the property. After we got settled we headed to the bar. It was cozy and welcoming. We sat at the bar and bartender was friendly and knowkedgable. He was making shots for other patrons and we opted for the alien brain hemorrhage, which had peach schnapps, Baileys, grenadine and blue curacao. It was pretty tasty but drink it quick as the Baileys curdles. They had a pool table, friendly patrons and a neighborhood bar atmosphere. Food is served until 9 but we were there later than that so just had drinks and walked back to our cabin.

Welcoming locals and friendly bartender/cook. Nice view of river and lake especially when the snow is falling. I stayed to enjoy the ambiance while six friends went dog sledding down the street.
