Chips and salsa - decent but non descript. Really shouldn't be more than $5 for what you're getting. Literally store bought chips with a cup of salsa. Strawberry and Walnut salad - refreshing and tasty. Burnt ends - meh I've had much better. If you're really jonesin for some I guess they're OK. Curry chicken salad pita - it was okay but lacked depth. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Sweet potato fries were definitely worth the upgrade however! Regular fries had an odd aftertaste. Just get the sweet potato upgrade. Caesar and burger I heard were good. The best thing this place has going for it imo is their homemade ranch dressing! Wow very good. Fresh and tasty, everything ranch should be. Tbh very disappointed with this place. It was overly packed with people, had poor signage that YOU HAVE TO ORDER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RESTAURANT - THEY WILL NOT COME TO YOUR SEAT! Our "waiter" gave us water and cleaned the table but never told us this so we waited 20 min and would have waited another hour if we didn't figure it out. AND you have to order drinks at a separate place outside. My biggest gripe food wise is that the Mac and Cheese looked REALLY good but they don't offer it other than as an entrée. Poor move imo as a restaurant move! Servers were very rude as well. It is cool they have outside live music I must say and the ambiance is cool. Conversely, I do have to say my wife thought this was her favorite food so far in MT for what that's worth. In the future, I'd rather head across the street to North Fork Pizza than risk going back here. The pizza smelled diviiiiine from outside!

My friend and I had a great time at the gun site saloon. We sat out outdoors on a beautiful day and listen to a great band. The food was great and so was the atmosphere.

This place was so fun! Great drinks and fun, family-friendly atmosphere. We loved the patio area and live music. I would travel back to this city just to visit again.

Standing in line waiting to order

We weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was when we stopped by for dinner on a Monday night. With a band playing, the outdoor area was popping, and we soon learned the inside was too. Everything is ordered at the bar, after standing in a long line. It wasn't until after I ordered that I was told it would take 45-60 mins to get the food. Oh well, it was late, and there weren't really an other good options, so we waited. Our buzzer buzzed less than 40 minutes later, so I went to the bar to get the food and condiments. At least they've got. Good system down. Burgers were really good. My Yumi Yumi was a gooey mess, but the burger was cooked well, and the flavors were delicious. My wife liked her veggie burger too. Fries -- both regular and sweet potato -- were both delicious.

Fun place. We sat outside to get ready for the live music. The guy was good! You go to the bar area and order your meal. They give you a buzzer and then you grab your food. I got the catfish po-boy. It was moist and seasoned really well. I also got sweet potato fries as my side. They were crispy enough and I had asked for ranch for dipping. A lady did come by and put a water pitcher at our table. Super chill place. Weather was nice that day too so that helped make the experience good!

Looooved the food here!!! Great service, easy to call it in and pick it up, and incredible food. The ambiance was great and looked like fun (we sort of regretted just ordering it takeout haha!) and the Mac n cheese was my FAVVVV. Highly recommend this spot!

The Mac and cheese is a must!

The food was really good and I think they know how to cook lol! The service was okay but a tad slow but in general their busy. The ambiance was great, it was a old style western mixed with Indian decor and it made everything pop. When I went, live music was playing outside and it made the experience even better.

Smoked prime rib special on Sunday.
    Shelly A.

We knew Sunday was prime rib night, and they don't accept reservations. Since they open at 5 pm, we arrived at 5:30. We were greeted by a sign that said, "Seat yourself, order your drinks from the bar and food from the kitchen." There was a one-man band setting up to play, so we found a table, went to the kitchen, and then up to the bar. After ordering food, they give you a plastic buzzer so you know your food is ready. The prime rib had excellent smokey flavor, but it was a little tough. (I would order it again) The baked potato was just a little undercooked, and I would hold the cheese sauce next time. The veggies was asparagus, which was perfectly cooked. Overall, a good meal!

    Burnt Belly Ends

Great backyard bbq style bar and grill for an affordable price. Live music outside creates a party atmosphere and is good fun. Watch out for the Bees if you go in summer! We started with the Burnt Belly Ends, which were very tasty. For the main course I had the bbq pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and my wife had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with fries. My wife had a Bloody Mary and I had a non-alcoholic zero punch. The food and drinks were delicious! To order food and drinks you have to wait in separate lines, but the staff are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it if you ever find yourself in Columbia Falls, Montana visiting Glacier National Park.

    Worst. Chicken strips. Ever.

I took my family here to grab a bite while visiting friends in C Falls. I had been here for concerts and drinks before, which were good experiences. This visit was my first time getting food here, and will be the last. I got the cheese steak sandwich, which was small and the meat tasted off. My wife got a room temp burger with cold fries . Our son got chicken tenders that were so dry he wouldn't eat them. I know it's bad when my 11 year old won't eat chicken tenders, even with the help of ranch and ketchup. They were not busy at all, so there was no reason for cold food. For the prices they are charging, they could at least make something decent and hot. If you are coming here to drink and see a band play, then it's worth a visit. As for the food, go anywhere else. It's terrible and over priced.

We thought everything was great and very reasonable priced. The guy taking our order for the food was friendly and brought my son a refill when he spilled his drink at the table. We ordered a drink from the bar to take to the table and thought the service was fine. The bar was busy and we had to wait a couple of minutes, but that was it. So glad we did. First of all, the view. The view off the deck of Flathead Lake was beautiful, and it was really cool watching the boats dock and come grab a bite to eat. The service was ok. I think they were understaffed. But no major issues overall. She was really nice. We all got settled in, got our drinks, ordered some apps. I ordered the Blue Corn Chips and Salsa (Our House-Made Roasted Garlic-Tomatillo Salsa and Blue Corn Tortilla Chips). They were fine. Pick another app, if you're trying to decided between a few. For my main, I had the Bison Cowboy Burger (Local Bison Patty, Cheddar, BBQ Sauce & Bacon). All over the part of Montana we were in, bison burgers were everywhere. And thank goodness, because they are delicious. A nice sized patty, smothered in cheese, some fresh veg, and some of the best sweet potato fries I've had at a restaurant in a while. So good. I also got to try the Candied Bacon Bleu Burger (We Turned Bacon into Candy and add Bleu Cheese for one Amazing Burger Combo). Even if the bacon was candied, there was so little of it, you couldn't even tell. But the rest of the burger was aces. A great, tangy bleu sauce on top of a well charred burger patty. Another great burger. Overall, I was very happy with this place. Great location, great food, nice staff, and a view that I will never forget.

My friends that we were staying with were locals, and they recommended A Bar, so we knew we had to try it out. It was a Friday or a Saturday night, and we arrived after nightfall, so we were worried there wouldn't be anywhere to sit, but we miraculously found a nice six top with a great view of the karaoke that was about to start. Looking around, the ambiance was really cool. It had a heavy dive bar vibe. I could perfectly picture Garth Brooks singing in the corner with a rowdy crowd packing the place. A lot of the tables were talking or shouting friendily to one another, showing me that there were a lot of locals and/or regulars there. But also, the place sold merch, as if it were a tourist attraction. A very interesting blend. Service was great. He was just a cool dude that efficiently brought to us everything we ordered. Beer showed up in a hurry, the food came out timely and nice and hot. Very nice fella. As for the food, it was surprisingly very good. Like, the best food we ate the entire time we were in Montana. We opened up with the A Bar Nachos (Corn tortilla chips smothered with melted cheddar, refried beans, taco meat, diced tomatoes, olives, jalapeno, and green onions. Served with salsa and sour cream. Wow! These were good nachos. First of all, they were huge. You can't have small plate of nachos, it's not a good look. Second of all, they were layered beautifully. Not all the toppings were topped on top, they were layered in between layers of chips, leaving no boring bites even towards the end. Third of all, they added beans. Not everyone does that, but everyone should, because it spreads well and they're a great meat substitute. Just amazing nachos. For my main meal of the night, I ordered the Cowboy Burger (1/3 pound Angus Patty, lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheddar, onion rings, and barbecue sauce on a grilled Brioche bun). Also awesome. A huge patty, cooked perfectly, sitting on a bun that was hearty enough to support it, stacked high with crispy onion rings and skewered with a giant steak knife to really set the presentation off right. A little fresh veg, a good amount of sauce, and a literal mountain of tater tots really made this a super satisfying meal. I also got to try the Shrimp Basket (Crispy Breaded shrimp, deep fried and served with French fries, cocktail sauce and lemon). These were nice. Nice, crispy shrimp, crispy tots, nothing was too greasy. A nice way to end the meal. Or so I thought that was the end. At the last second, I saw on their specials board that they had a huckleberry cheesecake. We were on the way out already, so I ordered it to go, and when I got it home, I naturally paired it with some Tillamook huckleberry ice cream and had one of the best nights of my life.
