Great dinner spot in Montana. The vibes here are really good and the inside is clean and well kept. You order at the counter and choose a place to sit and eat. They had live music playing that was really cool. They also had a small arcade that has good pin ball machines and my brother loved them. The food here is also amazing. I definitely recommend a lot of dishes. Burger: 5/10 can't remember what burger this was but the guy at the cash register recommended it and it was honestly really mid I give it like a five out of 10. Brunt ends 10/10: these were amazing. I cannot stop eating these burnt ends. The glaze on them was amazing and overall, probably the first person I've ever had. Huckleberry wings 8/10: these were also really good very solid wings, but the Soy are just better. Soy garlic wings 9.5/10: the glaze on these are amazing. Just an amazing wing overall. Jambalaya 8/10: I've had better jambalaya. It was solid, but nothing crazy. Overall, a great experience will definitely come down here with the family and share. It's amazing. Everyone was so friendly and tge kids could run around and play, which we always enjoy seeing. But if you read my reviews, you wanna know about the food: Homemade Ranch - homemade says it all. I loved the seating with live music on their back patio! It made for an enjoyable meal. The food itself took a while to come out and it really lacked a lot of depth for me personally. We ordered nachos to share which were a little too lightly dressed. And I ordered their fried chicken sandwich but probably should've stuck with their bbq options as that's what they are more known for. Went here for dinner & we were very excited to try a local place. Turns out this is a self order at the kitchen counter and self order at the bar, kind of place. This is why it's a 4 star tops place. We tried the righteous mac & cheese, which is definitely an entrée size, it was delicious and I enjoyed the breadcrumbs on top. Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich was crispy and the slaw was perfect. On our last night in the area, we had to try Gunsigbt Saloon. It was highly recommended by the locals with good food and live music. It was popular, so the line to order was long but went through fairly quick. Food and drinks are different lines. When you get your order in, find a table and the beeper will page you when it's ready. We got burgers, one with fries and with the watermelon. Burgers were delicious. Cooked smashed style, they had nice crispy edges. Watermelon was fresh and juicy. Fries were crispy. Great dinner. While the food is good, the music was even better. It was a solo guitarist who sang classic country. He was great. Many were sending up tips with a request and he did a great job of being able to handle most requests. The outdoor setting was awesome and the stage allowed everyone to see the entertainment. On street parking was easy. Great stop. read more

Chips and salsa - decent but non descript. Really shouldn't be more than $5 for what you're getting. Literally store bought chips with a cup of salsa. Strawberry and Walnut salad - refreshing and tasty. Burnt ends - meh I've had much better. If you're really jonesin for some I guess they're OK. Curry chicken salad pita - it was okay but lacked depth. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Sweet potato fries were definitely worth the upgrade however! Regular fries had an odd aftertaste. Just get the sweet potato upgrade. Caesar and burger I heard were good. The best thing this place has going for it imo is their homemade ranch dressing! Wow very good. Fresh and tasty, everything ranch should be. Tbh very disappointed with this place. It was overly packed with people, had poor signage that YOU HAVE TO ORDER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RESTAURANT - THEY WILL NOT COME TO YOUR SEAT! Our "waiter" gave us water and cleaned the table but never told us this so we waited 20 min and would have waited another hour if we didn't figure it out. AND you have to order drinks at a separate place outside. My biggest gripe food wise is that the Mac and Cheese looked REALLY good but they don't offer it other than as an entrée. Poor move imo as a restaurant move! Servers were very rude as well. It is cool they have outside live music I must say and the ambiance is cool. Conversely, I do have to say my wife thought this was her favorite food so far in MT for what that's worth. We stopped in on our way to Glaciers National Park for lunch. It is a walk up counter to order food and drinks. My husband ordered the jambalaya and it was good. We weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was when we stopped by for dinner on a Monday night. With a band playing, the outdoor area was popping, and we soon learned the inside was too. Everything is ordered at the bar, after standing in a long line. It wasn't until after I ordered that I was told it would take 45-60 mins to get the food. Oh well, it was late, and there weren't really an other good options, so we waited. Our buzzer buzzed less than 40 minutes later, so I went to the bar to get the food and condiments. At least they've got. Good system down. Burgers were really good. My Yumi Yumi was a gooey mess, but the burger was cooked well, and the flavors were delicious. My wife liked her veggie burger too. Fun place. We sat outside to get ready for the live music. The guy was good! You go to the bar area and order your meal. They give you a buzzer and then you grab your food. I got the catfish po-boy. We knew Sunday was prime rib night, and they don't accept reservations. Since they open at 5 pm, we arrived at 5:30. We were greeted by a sign that said, "Seat yourself, order your drinks from the bar and food from the kitchen." There was a one-man band setting up to play, so we found a table, went to the kitchen, and then up to the bar. After ordering food, they give you a plastic buzzer so you know your food is ready. The prime rib had excellent smokey flavor, but it was a little tough. (I would order it again) The baked potato was just a little undercooked, and I would hold the cheese sauce next time. Overall my boyfriend and I are giving gunsight a 4/5 stars, the interior was on point, the food was yummy, and the service was speedy. To order you stand in line and you receive a buzzer when your food is ready, efficient model, but loses the personable feel of being waited on. The Philly cheesesteak was good, but nothing special, just your typical cheesesteak. Same for the cesar salad. The sweet potato fries are what stole the show! Gunsight definitely knows how to make sweet potato fries, they were thin enough to be soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The flavor of them was amazing. The pricing was also slightly high, but with competing prices and tourist season it's to be expected. For example, the basket of fries was $11 and should have been about $8. read more

Great backyard bbq style bar and grill for an affordable price. Live music outside creates a party atmosphere and is good fun. Watch out for the Bees if you go in summer! We started with the Burnt Belly Ends, which were very tasty. For the main course I had the bbq pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and my wife had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with fries. My wife had a Bloody Mary and I had a non-alcoholic zero punch. The food and drinks were delicious! To order food and drinks you have to wait in separate lines, but the staff are friendly and efficient.
