This restaurant has fantastic pizza. The weight staff are very nice, friendly and gracious. One needs to know if choosing this wonderful restaurant is to be patient and clearly not in a hurry. The restaurant can get very crowded and everything is made to order so there may be a wait to get one's meal. In my view, it is worth the drive and the patience, because the restaurant is in a lovely setting and often times there is music to entertain the patrons outside. There is outside seating and eating, and it is a very dog friendly restaurant. Suffice it to say, I will continue to make the 30+ minute drive on a regular basis. read more

Wednesday, 10/11/23, we arrived at Trego Pub for pizza & beer. Turns out the power was out & would be for a few hours. Owners Lani & Todd could have just shut down for the day, but Todd had a better idea. He went out for the perfect ingredients & created gourmet peanut butter & jelly sandwiches! We dined on world class PBJs and drank great beer. How fun is that? Kudos to Lani & Todd for making lemonade when the afternoon gave them lemons. We had a great time! read more

Since we are back in Montana we were waiting for this place to open and it did on 3/30/17. It has a great market with basic essentials so there is no need to make the trip north it is so convenient having this place right here in Trego. We went in the pub for food the menu is panini's and salads. I had the turkey havarti cheese panini with cranberry aioli and husband had the chefs salad. My panini was served with chips and was very tasty, but hubbys salad was awesome, ham, turkey, cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumber and onions with the best ranch dressing. I had waited awhile to check this place out and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the teri-beef special and the meet was incredibly tender and sauce was perfect. As a rule, I'm not a beer drinker by nature but I enjoy a wheat beer now and them. Tom recommended the Hellgate out of Phillipsburg if I recall correctly, and it was quite smooth. Can't wait to try many more specials. read more

This is the place you find as your on the backroads to your not sure where,your between Libby 50 miles southwest and ? Hwy 93 closer to Eureka 15 miles to the north.You come upon this little town of Trego on Fortine Creek road.And with the best view around sits this Restaurant and Bar.The view is worthy of your camera coming out and taking wide panoramas.the people down home,far from the City feeling,because your no where near a bigger town.The food is good and beer selection wide.Starting in the spring they have local musicians playing on the open deck that backs to a wonderful lawn that you can spread out on and sip on that beer. read more

Beautiful drive to find Trego Pub and General Store. You will not be disappointed here on entry I spotted a Little Free Library which is a personal love affair. I wanted to buy a beer for my cousin's birthday. I live in another state. I called, talked to the manager Todd, and he was able to make the transaction for me easy peasy. They evidently have a beer-it-forward board so all my cousin has to do is go in and tell them who he is. Love it! Update: my cousin said he had no problem redeeming his free beer. We stumbled upon this place as we were waiting to go on a winter excursion in the area. They were able to accommodate our group of 11 easily and the service was great. The beers were delicious and inexpensive! We have the snack plate and the nachos which were both amazing. The views from the back patio were gorgeous. Really enjoyed our time here! read more

Great local pub with large selection of beers and great wines. They also serve champagne, champagne cocktail, and mimosas. Food menu is salads, grilled sandwhiches, chips and salsa, and nachos. The salad dressings ranch, blue cheese, raspberry vinaigrette, and Caesar are home made and fresh. The black bean and corn salsa is made with fresh ingredients. Nachos were way below average for $9. No meat, melted nacho cheese sauce. The salsa, however, was delicious. The younger woman who took our order was very pleasant, but then we were handed off to the two older women. One was sarcastic and indifferent; the other seemed pained to wait on us. Very disappointed, as we love to support local "mom and pop" businesses. Sorry, but we won't be back. read more
