We had a bit of a wait to get seated at the bar, but understandable on a packed night. Husband and I split the 3 meat plate (although we were tempted by the special-beef ribs on mashed potatoes). We had brisket (good and my favorite), pork ribs (fall off the bone good and tasty), pork belly (hubby said it was good since it isn't my thing). For our sides we had collard greens (we fought over those they were so good), bacon Mac (creamy and smokey), and corn bread (so glad we each had our own serving of that or there would have been bloodshed). That cornbread was the best I have had at a restaurant in ages. Staff were on it. They were personable and friendly. Kitchen staff--wow. A few minutes go by and we're still standing at the check-in, and another couple comes in. They are greeted in the same way, offered seats at the bar, and are thusly ushered to their seats... while we were still standing there. Okay, few more minutes go by and we call out the table that was just cleaned, and we get seated. The menu looks phenomenal, and we ended up getting the meat combo to try everything. This is where it gets even worse. The barbecue itself took a while to get to our table, which would be fine if it wasn't cold. Yes, you heard correctly, the barbecue was all cold. Baked beans had to have been Bush's. Potato salad and Mac was good, same with the cornbread. But the main things we paid $60 for were cold. The ribs were beyond burnt, and the brisket was tough. Oh, and the single sausage we got was slathered in mustard and barbecue sauce, come to think of it everything on the plate was slathered in barbecue sauce. Usually not a good sign lol. I really wish I could say nicer things about this place but I unfortunately cannot recommend it to anyone. But hey, they're packed so maybe that's just the quality of the food around Kalispell. Came here with a few friends while we were in Kalispell. This place gets hectic and really busy! Be ready to wait it out but make sure you stick around for your table. We were told it was about an hour wait which almost made us leave but we grabbed some beers and sat on their patio. It took around 45 actual minutes which wasn't too bad. We ordered 2 backed potatoes with brisket, nachos with brisket (nachos can easily feed 2-3) a few orders of corn bread, salmon plate with potato salad and Mac n cheese. Food was good! Brisket was awesome, potatoes were good, cornbread was moist not dry and the butter seemed home made. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is interesting, kwirky. Prime Rib was outstanding! Tender and just right, almost melted in the mouth. Delicious. The Pork Belly Collard Greens was slightly spicy with some sweetness, but just right in taste--very good! Ordered the Beef Brisket Plate, with a side of Their Popular Collard greens w/pork, and potatoe salad. This meal also came with a side of Two pieces of Corn bread and whipped butter. Bonus points. Brisket: little to no Smokey flavor, and not much seasoning. Not as fall apart as Texas style bbq if I can compare. Came out warmish. Not hot. Potato salad: Topped with green onions, seasoned well and delicious Collard Greens: Now this... this was the star of the show. The side... Tangy and Slightly sweet like honey almost. Amazing blend of complimenting flavors and large chunks of pork, yumm. The corn bread was a nice bonus, not crusty but airy and just right. Not hot though I might add. The whipped butter made up for the spreadabilty factor tho. Washed everything down with a delicious local Soda pop made with Huckleberry, which Montana is known for. In summary: for me? When eating bbq, the protein of choice should be the piece that ties everything together. In this case, it was their side that was carrying the team. Go for the great BBQ.... Prepared to be AMAZED by the stellar customer service / patron and staff camaraderie. Just an outstanding experience and worth the wait. Worth the wait! We were told wait was over an hour but we were eating within 45m Food is delicious and the staff are really great. You can also grab a drink inside while you wait. What went well? Everything! First of all, the venue is very cool! It's filled with rustic/tool shed/saloon vibes. It *feels* like the Wild West. We were greeted by a very nice hostess that was able to seat us right away! Our server was more than accommodating and was timely in all our orders and requests (new napkins, etc). I think I'll need to go back several times this trip so I can try everything in the menu! Literally every item sounded (and smelled) delicious! The kitchen is open in the same room too, so that was neat. Also, they have GF buns for substitution, and they are really good! Everything on the menu is GF (or GF substitutable) The beer selection isn't big, but it's quality - tasty brews from local MT breweries. Second time back but left a little disappointed. Tried the Brisket Cheese Steak Sandwich. The brisket was very fatty, lacked any smoke flavor, and the sandwich as a whole lacked flavor. I see plenty of great reviews for this place, so we decided to try it. I ordered the brisket sandwich with slaw, a side of beans, and added the cornbread, I love cornbread. Well the brisket was disappointing, it was dry and didn't have much of a flavor other than the bbq sauce that was covering it. Not to mention my slightly burned bun, made it all dryer. The beans are very sweet, it threw me off, I thought they would be more savory, I couldn't eat more than a bite. I never got my cornbread, although I saw our waitress, bring "free" cornbread to the table next to us. The cornbread was still on the check, so I had to have them take it off. She was very nice and apologetic about it. We ordered the huckleberry cheese cake to go, we ate it for dessert that night and it was really good. Not too sweet, just right. read more

Rob, the manager, greeted us outside and immediately took bus under his wing. One of our party has some mobility challenges and Rob made sure he and we were well taken care of. Our food was excellent and the staff was awesome! When we mentioned a food allergy, our server went above and beyond to help ensure we were taken care of. The brisket, the pork belly and the pulled pork were awesome and the sides were all amazing. 5 stars so easily! We had a group of about 20 in town for Glacier National Park, and came here for dinner on a recommendation. They don't take reservations and it took about an hour and a half for a group our size to get a table. Honestly it was so worth it, which is saying a lot. We sat at the patio outside and got drinks while we were waiting, and the bartenders were super nice and very generous with their pours. We started with the cornbread, which was warm, soft, fresh, and lived up to the hype we'd been hearing. I got the loaded baked potato with brisket. I'm picky about brisket-any fat or super chewy pieces kill it for me but wow, this might be the best brisket I've ever had. It was so tender that it basically fell apart, so well-seasoned, and all of the flavors in the toppings went together perfectly. And the Mac and cheese! I'm a huge Mac and cheese person, and this was some of the best I've ever had as well. I don't know what kind of magic they put in it, but it's amazing. The staff were super nice and clearly took pride in their food, and the decor was very inviting. I can't speak highly enough about this place. Definitely a must-visit! read more
