We went to the Sunflower for breakfast before exploring Glacier National Park. It was so great, we came back for dinner at the end of the day. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was the best! The staff was friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Front of cafe. So freaking cute

GO HERE. IMMEDIATELY. This place is so cute and they hit me sideways with their breakfast bowls out of nowhere. Husband got the Thai fried rice breakfast bowl. I got the Korean Pork belly and kimchi bowl. YUM!!!!! Cutest place ever.

Sweet cafe that's part of the Glacier campgrounds but you can still go here if you're not staying on the campgrounds. My family and I did the breakfast sandwiches, I got the hash brown patty as a side, and my stepdaughter did the breakfast kids platter. Chill vibes, there's a fire pit which was nice cause it was a bit chilly and there's a foos ball table. They also have alcoholic drinks. Their dog was really sweet too.

Amazing! Every time I've gone it's always been amazing! Cant beat the atmosphere either.

    Great invitation!

What a sweet and special spot! Pretty amazing to walk to the Sunflower right from your camp site. Best brisket I've ever had. Moist, melt in your mouth. The pulled pork and coleslaw were also excellent. Loved the selection of drinks. Cheers to the Sunflower!!!

YOU MUST COME HERE! This was such a treat to find. We were staying at Glacier Campground and were pleasantly surprised that Sunflower Cafe was on the property and open! We stopped in on a Thursday evening about 7 PM and enjoyed live music, outstanding BBQ & delicious cocktails. We ordered The Works because we were feeding 4. It comes with a 1/2 rack of ribs that had a great crust and came off the bone perfectly. It also comes with 1/2 lb of pulled pork (tender, flavorful), 1/2 lb of brisket which had perfect bark and was tender, juicy and smoked to perfection. The 3 sides we chose that it comes with were Mac & cheese, baked beans and potato salad. The Mac & cheese was homemade and the pasta they chose were shells. My daughters even approved! The baked beans are so good. I can't say much about how they were cooked other than the beans weren't overcooked and mushy but they also didn't have a crunchy outside leaving them undercooked. Again, they did it right! The potato salad had medium sized pieces of potatoes and was white based (no mustard), I really enjoyed it. You'll also get 4 slices of white bread, a pile of pickles & sliced onions. There are several options of BBQ sauces & hot sauces to choose from, help yourself. There are a few dessert options, our girls decided carrot cake was their pick. Whoa, it is so so good! It comes in a plastic to go container, the portion is huge, the cake is thick with a delicious frosting. There is no table service. You'll order from an order window, they'll call your name when it is ready. Serve yourself water & all the sauces you choose. You're served in to go containers (if you choose to go) or on disposable plates/boats on a plastic tray, LOVE IT! Seating is all picnic tables outside on a covered patio or on an uncovered patio section. Dogs are welcome and so are kids, yay! The staff was friendly and you could tell they loved what they're doing. You can smell the smoked meat when you pull into the campground. The breakfast looked and smelled so good in the morning but we had already eaten so we didn't get to try it, maybe next time. Definitely GO HERE! You will NOT be disappointed!!!!

We went in with low expectations since this is a restaurant in a pavilion at a campground, but we left impressed. The BBQ was moist and delicious (pulled pork and brisket), the kids loved the mac and cheese, and the potato salad was the homemade kind. Even the vegetarian bowl was good. The chocolate cake dessert was phenomenal. I did knock one star off because the buns were a little dry, and there was no one wiping tables between customers. The decor was fun, with sunflowers everywhere. The live entertainer was talented. The prices were reasonable for a tourist town. (They give you a discount if you pay cash, so bring some.) Felt like a big backyard picnic at a friends house who really knows how to cook. It was our favorite spot in West Glacier.

We needed breakfast and were staying at the campground. Wow. This was delicious, fresh, well-seasoned and well-thought out meals. Everything was so good. The breakfast sandwich wasn't anything extraordinary other than all the ingredients were super fresh and it was a pleasure to eat. They also have an awesome assortment of sauces you can add on that we're fun. It's pricey (like most everything in the area). With a 10% tip I dropped $50 on breakfast for 3. But the quality is so high I didn't even mind. It'd eat there again in a heartbeat and just skip or snack lunch to excuse the splurge. Also, the ambiance was spot on. It's all outdoor seating with folk music playing. It had me all revved up to head up into the mountains.

Maybe the best food I ever ate! Very easy, outside but under roof. We almost didn't turn down the dirt road.

We were wandering around Montana post a long hike! hungry,…read morelost, and spiritually broken, when suddenly we stumbled upon Tex & Jerrys. Little did we know, we had just discovered the sandwich promised land. The moment we walked in, Melody greeted us with such radiant kindness that I briefly checked to make sure she wasn't secretly an angel in disguise. She welcomed us not like customers, but like family......you know, if family actually liked you. For one reckless moment, I almost proposed marriage to her, but didn't wanna be that guy. Now, the food? Holy sandwich gods. The Reuben, the Gyro, the Italian, each one so good it made me question every life choice that led me to eating literally anywhere else. The salads? Shockingly delicious. And the hot sauce? The hot sauce deserves its own holy scripture. One drop and I was sweating, crying, and maybe seeing into alternate timelines. It burned, it healed, it baptized me. My tears weren't just from spice, they were tears of gratitude, of love, of a man reborn in sandwich fire. I heard they also host live music, though I didn't get to see it. And honestly, I'm relieved, because if the bands are even half as good as the sandwiches, my fragile heart wouldn't have survived the day. Leaving was the hardest part. In fact, I was ready to build a log cabin next door and devote my life to becoming Tex & Jerrys most loyal disciple. Unfortunately, I remembered I have a blind dog waiting at home, so priorities. But I'll be back. Oh, and did I mention Melody? Because she deserves her own standing ovation.

Husband and I split the 3 meat plate (although we were tempted by the special-beef ribs on mashed potatoes). We had brisket (good and my favorite), pork ribs (fall off the bone good and tasty), pork belly (hubby said it was good since it isn't my thing). For our sides we had collard greens (we fought over those they were so good), bacon Mac (creamy and smokey), and corn bread (so glad we each had our own serving of that or there would have been bloodshed). That cornbread was the best I have had at a restaurant in ages. Staff were on it. They were personable and friendly. Kitchen staff--wow. It was awesome to watch the magic and teamwork happening in the very small wizard's workshop. Thank you for the great night and the leftovers.

It almost feels like you're in a mineshaft or an antique store, which I thought was awesome. We are immediately greeted with a very friendly smile and told there were seats at the bar (the restaurant was packed, another good sign). A few minutes go by and we're still standing at the check-in, and another couple comes in. They are greeted in the same way, offered seats at the bar, and are thusly ushered to their seats... while we were still standing there. Okay, few more minutes go by and we call out the table that was just cleaned, and we get seated. The menu looks phenomenal, and we ended up getting the meat combo to try everything. This is where it gets even worse. The barbecue itself took a while to get to our table, which would be fine if it wasn't cold. Yes, you heard correctly, the barbecue was all cold. Baked beans had to have been Bush's. Potato salad and Mac was good, same with the cornbread. But the main things we paid $60 for were cold. The ribs were beyond burnt, and the brisket was tough. Oh, and the single sausage we got was slathered in mustard and barbecue sauce, come to think of it everything on the plate was slathered in barbecue sauce. Usually not a good sign lol. I really wish I could say nicer things about this place but I unfortunately cannot recommend it to anyone. But hey, they're packed so maybe that's just the quality of the food around Kalispell.
