I went to the Kalispell Super1 the other night just to compare. Their ground beef is a rich red color, not anything like the crud they're selling at Whitefish now. And the meat department overall is just not so well kept anymore. And God help you if you happen by while they are cleaning, because you will get hit with a cloud of meaty cleaner solution steam, and the stoned teenager behind the counter DOES NOT care, which seems to be a sentiment from top to bottom in that department.
