Lunch specials are SMALL. And food was just okay. The waiter was trying to be nice but honestly gave off weird vibes. This restaurant wouldn't survive in a real city with more than 2 Thai restaurants. read more

Small downtown Thai restaurant in Kalispell. Parking available on the street but note times of no parking sign. We came after a long hike and fun at Glacier National park so we were starving. Friendly service and helpful with menu questions. If you are vegan, make sure you order with no fish sauce. We ordered pad thai and eggplant basil. The fish sauce overpowered the flavor of the pad thai... that was a disappointment. The eggplant basil with extra basil (extra charge) was perfect in cook and flavor. We also had tea but seemed that the tea bag was old because it wasn't scented which resulted in no flavor. The drinking water was good to have after a long hike. read more

Really impressed by the freshness, taste and quality of our meals. We both have eaten a lot of Thai and it was up there with some of the best we have had. The service was friendly and quick. The vibe inside is a little different -- we will probably get takeout next time but overall loved our first time here and will be getting food here again! read more

Thai Palace Restaurant - 65. Pad Ka Prao & 55. Pa Nang - Thai Near Me - Kalispell, Montana

Service is poor and there's legit lip marks from previous customers on the drink glasses. Drinks are warm and the whole place has a musty smell. I'd love my order preference to not be criticized by the waitress. Kalispell is somewhat lacking in good Thai restaurants but I can assure you this one is NOT the best. read more

Waiter was very nice, always a smile on his face and engaged in a conversation, wasn't meaan looking or anything, perfect English, the thi was a lot better than Thi bamboo in spokane. read more

This Thai place is better than what reviews suggest. The mango with sticky rice was gorgeous. Absolutely loved the black rice variant. The Chicken Yakisoba was pretty lit . The shrimp fried rice probably tasted the best. But in general all the fried rice and noodles were outstanding. What didn't really stick out was the curry. Green Thai curry was very liquidy and the flavor were also average. Service is quick and the ambience is decent. Recommended: Yakisoba noodles and Shrimp Fried rice. read more

Food was great, service was prompt, and it's some of the better Thai foods that I've had. Casual dining, authentic decor, and authentic dishes. One can always tell when they have roast duck on the menu. Seems it's northern-style dishes. Tonight was a little busy but was WELL worth the 30-45 minute wait. I'm usually a big eater but the Pad See Ew was well proportioned since I got full fast. A 3 spicy level was the best this lady could actually handle. I am glad they use Thai chilies, really gives the food that kick. We used a tap to pay if anyone wants to know. ;) read more

Best Thai in Kalispell. Oh only Thai in Kalispell. And I love it. The gal that works here been here forever and isn't the most friendly. Classic Thai dishes are delicious. read more

The food was not very good. The atmosphere was not great. Service was not great either I wish they would try harder and revamp.

First time here and first Thai restaurant in Montana since we moved here a year ago. My wife and I decided to go with the daily lunch curry plate which was Penang Curry with chicken. We were cautioned about our spice selection (3 out of 5 for my wife and 5 for me). But it was just right, as we prefer Thai food with some spiciness and whenever we pick a less spicy level at a new restaurant, we find it much too mild. The entrees did seem a bit pricey (which is why we went with the lunch specials), but it's hard to know if it is worth it since we don't know the portion size. Service was nice and we plan to return sometime to try the Pad Thai, which is our favorite. read more

Best shrimp red curry, it's our favorite! Also enjoyed the best crepe fruit roll for dessert. Light, made from scratch with fresh ingredients and not too sweet. Wonderful service always too. Love this place! read more

Yummy spring rolls! I ordered curry with chicken and veggies, which was very good. I like a little spice so asked for 1.5 stars which was perfect. The interior is no-frills but clean. The server was very friendly. It's Thai food in a tourist town, so of course it's pricey. But if you're budget conscious, they have several lunch specials for $13. read more

I'll make it short, the food here isn't good and far too expensive for what you get. Not worth the trouble.

Since my last review (6 years ago) somethings have definitely changed - and not for the better. Recently ordered a take out meal for my family. The front desk person was abrasive and rude both on the phone and in person. Food is way overpriced and not the same quality as it used to be. read more

Went there twice, not even able to order. First time, nobody taking order after I waited for nearly 5 minutes. Second time the door was closed but it said open. Not recommend if you are a visitor. Just wasting your time. read more

Keep in mind that this is a mom/pop restaurant but it looks like all the best/authentic Thai restaurants I've been to this far. I'm from out of town (live in Houston so my Thai standards are very high) and this was an absolute gem to find. Very nice ambience but simple and server was very helpful and kind. We were able to make our food vegan and vegan papaya salad is very very hard to find even in my home town, which has a bustling Asian food scene. The things we ordered: 1) Vegan (ie. Minus shrimp) summer rolls - fresh, tasty and simple, strong mint taste 2) vegan papaya salad - absolutely delicious. I would've taken a second order to go if I could've guaranteed it'd get through TSA. Medium spicy had a kick so make mild if super heat intolerant 3) Vegan panang with non-fried tofu - I can't remember the last time I had a panang without fried tofu but this was phenomenal. Excellent flavor. I drank the broth straight. It was sooo good. read more

ORDER ONLINE, DO NOT DINE IN. I've done both and to go takes about 15-20 min and dine in could take over an hour of waiting (MT restaurants love to prioritize to go orders for some reason) Good food - but if you're wanting the yellow curry be warned that it's actually massaman! I loooved the chicken veggie basil dish. Everyone loves the massaman. read more

Thai palace Ordered take out. Green Curry with chicken, Pad Thai with Chicken and some summer rolls. The food was ready when I got there 15 minutes later. Everything was piping hot and cooked to perfection. I like a little extra spice so I asked for a side of chili sauce (prik nam plaa)and that fixed it all up for me. I plan to come back and eat in the restaurant very soon. Enjoy your meal read more

We have walked by this place a few times over the years visiting the area, and from the exterior, it appears like a nice, typical Thai restaurant that you'd expect to be cozy and intimate inside, so we determined we should try it, but never had until last week. When we didn't feel like cooking on a Thursday night, we figured there wasn't much to lose by trying it. Upon entering the restaurant, I was hesitant. You can tell this place has been hit hard by covid, in the fact that the interior is just blah...like, it almost looked like it wasn't operational, tables were in weird places, there were no table linens, and the place was fairly empty. But, there were two tables of diners, so we proceeded as planned. I imagine they do a lot of take out, since the interior is not super inviting. The man that greeted and seated us was super pleasant, and obviously happy to have patrons. In reviewing the menu, they had all the expected items you would see at any Thai restaurant. We ordered the spring rolls to start. They came and while my partner found them fine, I found the crispy outer part a bit tough/chewy, and I could kind of taste the oil. So, my guess, is they aren't changing out the oil frequently enough. It was edible, but not great. We then had vegetarian pad see ew, vegetarian pineapple fried rice and my partner got sweet and sour shrimp. All of it was fine. But, that is it, just fine. Veggies were fresh in all of the dishes. I will say, the best part of this was how accommodating they were with dietary restrictions, asking us if we were vegan and would want the egg or not in the dishes. I really want this place to do well, but if they want walk-in and dine-in customers, they should put a tiny bit of effort into the interior, just a small update would help tremendously as we watched a group of tourist walk in and quickly change their mind. However, I feel like this place will "scratch an itch" if you are craving Thai food while in the area, but if you are accustomed to eating Thai food in more urban coastal areas, it might disappoint. read more

Really great!!! Excellent customer service! Food was fast and fresh. Answered all our questions happily and helped us make what we wanted vegan and GF. We had the fresh rolls w/ peanut sauce, Penang curry with tofu and papaya salad. The chef prepared them without fish sauce and chicken broth for us! read more

Best Thai food I have EVER had. They have the greatest spring rolls and the Massaman curry dish was amazing. Level 3 was pretty spicy to me. It had a kick but wasn't too much to where you couldn't enjoy the food. Service was quick when I ate there and when I called for a pickup order! Waiters are very friendly and attentive. Cute, awesome spot! read more

This place is underrated! I stopped here to get some lunch and I ordered beef Pad Thai. The food was so yummy! I like the boat/shaped plate. The place itself is cozy, and it looks like a family owned restaurant. The service is great, and I'm very pleased with my experience here. The lady who served me was very kind. Will come back here to try new things. Highly recommended! Thanks for the great meal! read more

Thai Palace Restaurant - Beef Pad Thai - Thai Near Me - Kalispell, Montana

My partner got the Beef pad see ew and thoroughly enjoyed it- however it was unfortunately probably my least favorite experience with red curry. No music so it was very quiet. Regardless, I do like to support local as well as mom/pop shops. But if you're a fan of curry, you're probably better off ordering something else from their menu. read more

Ridiculously bad service. Placed an online order on Saturday night. 30 min eta confirmed. Arrived in 30 min told 20 min more. Arrive 20 min later waited 10 more min told 5 more min. The explanation was we are busy. 1/3 of the tables were empty. 2 other take away orders standing with us an hour on one and 20 min on the other. Both told 20 min. Staff stay in back not coming out to engage us at all. read more

I guess I'm spoiled with the great Asian food from the PNW because I can't say anything good about the food we ordered from here. Phad Thai was bland and although the Red Curry tasted ok, it was more like soup. Will not be ordering from here again when we're back in town. read more

I've came here twice now, I'm originally from California. Cali has hundreds of Thai restaurants, and this place by far blows it out of the water. The food, atmosphere and employees are all stellar. If you don't enjoy this, you're probably used to something less authentic. read more

My wife, daughter and I went for lunch. There was a sign posted that masks were required. I was going to ask for one to comply. Older white lady comes out as we're waiting patiently and points at me and says "you need to put a mask on". I said "I know but didn't bring one, can I get one please." She said "no, that's your responsibility. You can't be here." Meanwhile she's at a table delivering food to two people without masks. There is no mask mandate; statewide, city or county. If you want me to patronize your business you need to provide the mask. AND ask nicely. My 12 y/o daughter (who had a mask) said, she was rude. First time I ever stepped foot in there. Never will again. read more

Vegan options are amazing which is not easy to find here. The order was taken right away but we waited a total of 45 minutes to get food and everyone was served separately, very disappointing! Also not sure how clean the kitchen area is. All kinds of medications on the counter outside the kitchen which could be seen from the table. Maybe could use a health inspection??? I will say once we received our food it was very tasty. All staff were very nice. read more

I eat plenty of Thai food. This place isn't good. In addition to the curry being too spicy after ordering it mild, the food took literally 1:45 to arrive. The whole experience was bizarre thanks to the interminable wait for the mediocre food. Note that Yelpers mark this restaurant as closed. But it wasn't. Though it should be. Enough said... read more

What a pleasant surprise to find this little gem on Main Street in Kalispell. As previous reviewers said, it doesn't look like much and is right next door to a great sushi place.
