New to Huhot but won't be a stranger. Food, amazing. Waiting staff, kind. Grill cooks, attentive to the guest. Food quality, the best! Can't wait to go again! Plenty of seating. read more

The staff were great, the food was OK. I feel the restaurant could use serious deep cleaning, floors are sticky, the windows are dirty. No matter where you were in the restaurant, the floors felt greasy. read more

Aside from needing a deep cleaning (albeit likely overtly expensive to do so in the Valley) I could not ask for more delicious food (although I miss the eggs, however they're probably too spendy nowadays to have in the buffet unfortunately) and incredible service! At the end of the day, that establishment hosts some truly hardworking people, and I hope the owner of HuHot knows how treasured the business truly is in an America where an affordable buffet is so rare these days. read more

Probably the worst stir-fry food experience I've had. It was immediately apparent that the Kalispell MT location is understaffed, as we waited 10mins to be seated (there were several available tables, just no one present to greet and seat us). And similar to other reviews, the cleanliness of the restaurant is something that needs attention. Once our waitress did appear (which she thanked us for our patience, while apologizing to us several times for the wait) she was very attentive, but even her great service couldn't overcome the poor quality of the food. This is the 2nd time I've been to a HuHot (first time was in Spokane, WA about 15yrs ago)--I realize why I have not frequented this chain: it's infamously forgettable and even though I'm mindful of their staff and their need to make a living, I would strongly dissuade people from going to this locale--the poor food quality is not worth your time or dollar. One other item, not that it impacted me (as I didn't even eat what was on my plate), but their staff was putting up their ingredients 30mins prior to closing...while unbeknownst to them they had another customer waiting for someone to acknowledge and seat them--feel sorry for that guy. read more

This place has REALLY gone downhill. We hadn't been for maybe a year, partly bc the last few times we'd tried to go, it was randomly closed during open business hours. The place was empty aside from a few diners during peak dinner hours. While taking our order, the waitress's eyes suddenly droop shut - she was clearly high. She didn't offer the side salad or soup. I flagged down a different server, who said they were out of soup. The buffet was a huge mess - all the food spilled into adjacent sections. No rice at all, which sucked. I used a nice mix of sauces, but the final dish had zero flavor. My hubby's dish had a huge piece of cardboard in it. The side salad is about a fifth of the size it used to be and was missing several ingredients. I'm pretty sure they raised their prices, too, bc it costs about $20 a person now. We are NOT returning. read more

Very unkept decor with tables not cleaned well and rips in seats taped over. This is a restaurant where you select your fresh ingredients and then someone cooks the food for you in a stir fry fashion. The quality of the food options seemed good, with a lot of options to choose from, but unless you know what you're doing, you're probably better off going by one of their "recipes" for your meal. read more

This is a chain restaurant and I normally try and eat local when I go to new places but since the first time I tried this place, I have been back three times. I always get the to go balls because it's normally just me and I am unable to do an all you can eat as I have had gastric surgery. The to go bowls are a little bit bigger than the normal balls that they have due to the fact that you were taking everything to go and you need to have a bowl big enough to put everything in there. I love trying new combinations with sauces and different vegetables. Every time I go in there. But my protein is always chicken and shrimp. Cannot say enough good stuff about this place as you get to make your own items. So if you don't like it, that's your fault and nobody else's. Definitely will be going back. read more

the food is pretty good, but i don't like that you can't bring home your leftovers. the first time we went, our server did grab us some to go boxes when we asked. the next time we asked, they told us we couldn't take it home. granted, the server was kind about it, but still. i had only gotten one bowl of food and just couldn't finish it as it is very filling, but i would've liked to bring it home. instead, it just got thrown away. i am not a fan of food waste especially when i pay $20 for one bowl of food, and just because i can't finish it all at once it has to go to to waste. i understand not wanting people to come back through and get another helping just to bring it home, but if they only get one serving i don't see why it can't be saved for later read more

Hanna was great as waitress! Funny, personable, professional .. Kevin was great as the cook!

5 for Chris the cook: great attitude, hard-working, energetic, entertaining, engaging, great ambassador for the restaurant. He deserves a raise. I'd hire him in a minute! The servers too were hustling and working hard. Long cooking line moved quickly. Food was good, great selection and variety. You won't leave hungry. Reasonably priced. Unfortunately, understaffed which was evident with many dirty tables, food scraps on the floor both under the tables and by the buffet section. read more

It's okay for a mongolian BBQ type place. The portions were what you made of it. The ingredients were either fresh or fresh frozen. I thought the overall finished dish lacked a little flavor. It just isn't that memorable. It's all you can eat, but who really needs to stuff themselves? One trip through the line is like two times the amount of food you're supposed to eat at a setting. My point is is was a little pricey to cover the overconsumptive hog trough. I would have preferred pricing based on the number of trips you make to the prep area. My point is that it is a little pricey for the amount of food you're supposed to eat while maintaining a healthy weight. read more

You choose your food off of a raw bar then you choose your sauce and they cook it right in front of you. Great concept but I wasn't sure what items would go together. It was good. I liked the experience. The cooks were showman, so they made it fun read more

Worst HuHot ever! The service was horrible, found hair in the food, the dishes aren't very clean and the waiter was very rude!!! Might be racist towards brown people as well because the waiter was nice to everyone but the brown people. read more

I mean the food isn't bad... But the place is just not nearly as clean as it should be. I can't recommend this one.

Super fun spot for lunch. Its all you can eat but we just did one serving and called it a day. You make your own bowls with protein, veggies, and carbs. Dont forget the sauces, they have lots. You bring your bowls to the cooks and they cook it up for you. The cooks were great, my 5 year old loved it. They put on the show. read more

HuHot Mongolian Grill - two men preparing food - Chinese Near Me - Kalispell, Montana

Sorry for the very late review. I brought my dad here when he came down to hunt in 2022 and he really liked it. He really liked the food and figuring out the sauces to put on the noodles and as well as what mixtures to blend together and I don't blame him I have fun experimenting with different sauce mixtures as well. It is even nice to watch what you put together get cooked too. read more

I was happy that I had dinner at HuHot. The waitress was friendly and explained how to select the food for the grill. The price is includes unlimited trips for refills. The selection and quality of the meats and vegetables was very good. Soup or salad is included. The chef was very friendly and quick. He was preparing multiple orders at once. Overall a great experience. read more

We were there October 21, 2022 at around 7:37pm Our waitress was pleasant, unfortunately the young talking kid behind the grill was not. He was too busy chatting away and didn't even say hi to us. He decided to mix both my Husband's bowl and mine together on the same grill without asking us if we wanted our plates together or not. He just assumed and did it his way. He didn't even apologized and told us just to go back and make our plates over again. We couldn't believe he did that! He has no common sense to even asked if we wanted our plates separate or together. What a complete waste of food he ended up throwing out in the trash! Learn to ask next time!! read more

I really enjoy coming here great food and customer service Anna the GM and her staff are doing an amazing job keep up the good work I'll definitely be coming back here read more

Coming from houston I had high hopes for Asian food. This spot is not bad. They accommodated for me being vegetarian and cleaned up the grill and used new utensils to grill the food. You pick your veggies and noddles and sauce and they make it for you. 2 for 25$ special is more worth it 4-6 pm. read more

Customer service has been very good the past couple times we've been here. Food was just OK, I wish they gave us recipes on which sauces to use as the ones I tried didn't seem to go well with my meal. But I've been told twice that they're waiting on menus. read more

Not impressed with my first visit there.. although the waitress was friendly and the place was quiet with nice ambiance the food bar was filthy with food all over the place even on the floor. The food itself was tasty after it was cooked but looked non edible on the food bar. I questioned myself big time. After it was cooked it looked much better and tasted good. Other than the filthy unorganized food bar it was ok. Scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 6. read more

The food is usually great but not so great and the service made up for it. Our server was the best. The place could use a bit of cleaning.

Workers are absolutely wonderful, and so is the food. I'd 100% recommend this restaurant. Food is also fairly cheap for good Mongolian.

Food was very good. Service was fair. Atmosphere ok. But don't order an appetizer it takes forever and is just mediocre.

This place was fantastic! Loved the options of vegetables and sauces for the stir fry! Definitely recommend to stop by for some hot Mongolian stir fry food!!! read more

We used to take our family which includes myself my wife and daughter to Mongolian. My daughter really really likes it. I really like the fact that you have so much variety and choice in dishes. Definitely go there read more

Being a veteran of Mongolian BBQ around the world, HuHot does a great job. The ingredients are fresh. They have a great selection of sauces and oils. The chef and server on our first experience were the best! Boys really enjoyed the smores dessert too. I get the complaints about messiness but that is par for the course in Mongolian BBQ especially in these times of short staffing. People should consider that it also takes experience to make a good blend of sauces and oils. HuHot has nice little recipe cards on the table to help out first timers. Overall, this place was awesome and we will be returning many times. read more

Josh made our whole meal enjoyable from the conversation to his cool spatula tricks! Will always be back for that alone. Keep it up box!

We were around an went for the $25 for two people unlimited food offer on friday and some other day. Service and food was great. The hack is to use 5-6 sauces in your bowl so that it has flavor. Second tip will be to add egg on your fried rice/noodles if you like scrambled eggs on your meal! read more

The dining area was dirty, the fixings bar was a mess, and the area around the cooking floor was filthy. The service was terrible. Ordered a beer, it never came. There wasn't anything positive about the experience. read more

Service was ok, and the place was clean and spacious. I like that there was a lot of variety with the toppings. However, when it came down to it, the food was just bad. My husband went back for 3 different bowls, and each one was so burnt that the noodles were hard. Mine weren't as overcooked, but it was still very dry. Also the sauces are all VERY sweet, which isn't my favorite. Unfortunately, this is the only Mongolian BBQ in the area, so there isn't anything else to compare it to. read more

If you have allergies or any dietary restrictions do not go here. They recently changed their policy and will no longer clean the grill for people with allergies or people who are vegetarian because it takes too long (even if the restaurant is completely empty). The staff was very apologetic except for manager Brian Claybough who was very unhelpful and didn't even bother apologizing. We have been driving to the US from Canada to go to HuHot for years and they have always been very accommodating but changed their policy without warning. Their website still claims that they are able to accommodate people with allergies or who are gluten free which is not true. It is a shame that so many people will no longer be able to eat here just because they consider taking 30 seconds to clean the grill to be too much of a hassle. Very disappointing they changed the policy and how HuHots management team handled the situation. If you can't accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions don't lie on your website and say that you can! read more
