11/13/25 4:00 p.m. Stopped in after a long drive. Absolutely best fall-off-the-bone, ribs. Meat stuffed potato was most excellent! Sampled the chili, it was sooo good! Met the owner, sweet as can be. Dining in was a fantastic experience. Seeing the A+ inspection grade gave us the confidence we were at a great place! Very very spotless seating area. Food portions were super. So glad Dickeys is in Kalispell. Our now go-to place, when in town. Definitely coming back! read more

I ordered the half rack of pork ribs with sweet BBQ sauce and loaded mashed potatoes. The ribs were dry, yet greasy. The rub lacked much flavor so you'll want to put some sauce on them, which was quite good. The potatoes tasted good but lacked any of the adds they state in their description. They did stay hot throughout though. You get a lot of meat in a half rack, so it's plenty for 1 and just right for 2. Don't bother with the Texas toast. It was like eating an old sponge! My friend had the Giant baked potato and really liked it. I wasn't thrilled with my dinner. I won't be ordering from them again and if I do, I'll try one of their sammies. Amazing staff! Amazing food!! Soon as I walked in the door I was greated with warm smiles and cheerful staff. They folks at the counter were awesome and walked us through the menu. The food was amazing. We got the picnic platter and it was amazing. Every taste was on point just like down south . I can't say good enough things about the food and service. It's The staff was with us every step of the way from checking on us for any needs during the meal and following up with bringing boxes, lids and bags. In fact better service than a lot of nice restaurants we've been in. Bravo awesome food and awesome experience!! Absolutely coming back next time we're in town. As a fellow small business owner in the valley, I would absolutely want to know if my staff taking orders were treating customers with very short, rude attitudes. Absolutely unacceptable service. Fantastic customer service from start to finish, the gentleman came out and checked on us twice while we were eating. I had the loaded baker with polish sausage, we also had the smoked chicken sandwich, brisket, pulled pork, Mac & cheese, baked beans, potato casserole, Cole slaw, annnnd Texas toast. So so delicious! The restaurant was clean, and welcoming. We were at TRH the night before in Missoula and I can honestly say this was much much better! We'll be back before we head back home! read more

TLDR/ Service: Top Notch, Food: Good, Price: Expensive! Great Service and good food! After a rough day, a friends dog passed and we watched their kiddo for them, the folks at this Dickey's made the evening dinner plans much easier. We got a family dinner and the fixings and sauces were prepared with love. Everything arrived home still pipping hot and the brisket and sausages were winners in my book! I have been to many Dickey's in multiple states, but this one had the nicest staff, hands down. I also got a loaded potato, and it was deliciously good, like no joke, serious eats. It was so big that we split it in half for two meals! My one caveat was the price, which though understandable, still left me with a bit of sticker shock. The whole meal was over 100 dollars, which is a lot, regardless of where you go, but especially for what is essentially equivalent to 1 tier above fast food. Ordered the Pork Burnt Ends Plate with jalapeño Beans and green beans as sides. Unfortunately the green beans tasted much hotter than the jalapeño beans, probably because of the extreme excess of black peppers on the green beans, like it was the bottom of the batch. Well for being a small town barbecue restaurant it's very good and hits the spot. Between the brisket pulled pork chicken kielbasa Etc they're all good choices. The Westerner is really good because you get to meet so I had the pulled pork and brisket. You get traditional barbecue sauce or a spicy barbecue. Pretty good BBQ for a chain! Hubby had ribs and I had 2 tacos (fancy pork and chicken spinach). We shared the two sides of caesar salad and jalapeno beans. The beans were spicier than I expected (good) and the slaw on the fancy pork taco was sweeter than I prefer (bad). The flavor of the meats were good and I liked the spicier BBQ sauce they had. Oh my gosh........we stayed away because not the dickeys we know....we're from Texas! Went the other night and no chicken and they quit carrying turkey breast along with fried okra and French fries! They had chicken tonight and a new general manager told my hubby that the no chicken wouldn't happen again. What a total disappointment! Was even afraid to feed the meat to my dog! It was slimy and had the weirdest texture. It wasn't pink so had to be cooked but seemed raw in texture. Totally disappointing.......when the chicken is good it's delicious but lately if they even have it...not so hot! read more

It's sad. I don't know what happened but this place used to be sssooo good. I placed an order for pick up, first they tell me they no longer have chicken wings and they would give me ribs instead. Since I don't like pork ribs they give me a 2 meat plate. Then they call me back a few minutes later to tell me the medium side I ordered is not available. Some Dickey's don't have the free self serve ice cream in the lobby and this is one of those. Other than that it's no different than my experience at any other. Ordered food for pickup. Only 6:30 on a weekday and already out of many items. Told my wait would be 30 minutes. Show up 35 minutes later and I'm told she's working on my order. Her mask was a chin guard and she was yapping away with another customer and told me it would be a few minutes. WHY? Told me she was out of chicken, and asked to sub in pulled pork. If I wanted pulled pork, I would have bought pulled pork. I took it anyway - I was starving. But she and this unmasked customer in front of me kept talking. I waited easily another 15 minutes for my food. No masks. Not enforcing masks. Excruciatingly slow service. Out of food early. No way I am going back. read more

This is a really good barbecue outfit. The meet was definitely fresh and moist. The hot barbecue sauce had a nice kick to it that lasted a while. Because it was actually some of the best post I've had in a long time. Definitely not bad for the price either. Really enjoyed it. Definitely will be doing this one again. read more

Things don't clicky with Mr. Dickey.... Dicky forgot all of our sauces, the salad dressing, one of our sides, plastic wear, and accidentally gave us two full extra orders of chicken... lol. We're traveling and leaving the hotel for an 8 hour drive at 6am so can't eat these.. maybe this would be a 5 star review if we could... But probably not because all of the meat was dryer than a sun bathing lizard. 2 stars for the free cookie they gave us for our troubles of heading back to the restaurant. read more

Stopped here expecting a similar experience to mission bbq. It definitely was not that. Service was terrible, the guy working the counter was extremely rude (asked what I wanted for my meal and sides then exclaimed "I'm not taking you sides right now!") . They were out of what looked like the three best sides, so I got baked beans and a Caesar salad with the brisket plate. Baked beans were somehow just a worse version bushes baked beans, and the brisket was old, dry and lacked flavor. Do not go to this franchise, please just go to the famous Dave's that's like 2 minutes away. read more

I've tried going here for lunch twice but I haven't been successful getting any food. I purchased gift cards from Costco thinking it would be a good deal. The first time I went there was only one person working so it was extremely slow. I ordered my sandwich but when I tried to pay none of the 4 gift cards I have would work. The guy at the register said this has been happening all day he tried calling his manager but couldn't get through so he said there was nothing he could do. I tried going there again today for lunch this time a different person was working but still only one person so very slow. I ordered the Cuban sandwich the menu says $9.95 when I got to the register she said it was $15.95. I asked why, she said she doesn't know she just keys it in and that's what I to says. She tried calling her manager but couldn't get through. Twice I've wasted my 30 minute lunch. No more I'm returning the cards to Costco. The food here isn't worth the hassle. read more
