Breakfast Burger

This place is great! Very clean inside, friendly staff, affordable prices and the food comes quick.

Veggie Burger & Fries

I was doing some laundry in the same shopping center, so I decided to give Frugals a try! I had looked at the menu and noticed they had veggie burgers, so that made me very happy. I ordered the combo veggie burger with fries. The fries were fantastic, crispy and on the thinner side. The burger was great - I added grilled onions and used the fry sauce, and it was pretty darned good! I will be back!

I didn't know that Frugals was a PNW chain till I came out to Kalispell. The one that's closest to me back home is the one near Muckleshoot Casino and I thought that was the only one around. Funny I ended up flying out of state just to try it. Looks like Kalispell is growing because this location is in a newly developed area. It has a drive thru (which had a line of cars, no surprise since the burgers are delicious) and a dine-in option. We chose to dine inside because of the air conditioning. It was funny seeing "Beast Mode" on the menu. If you don't know what that means then watch the "Marshawn Lynch beast mode run vs Saints(2010) NFL" clip. One of the greatest moments in Seahawks history! Fries were great, burger was great, and service was friendly.

I'd rather go here than to McDonald's or Dairy Queen. The chicken sandwich is great. Always good burgers.

Great burger! The drive-thru service was good, and the wait wasn't long, but the burger was GREAT!

This place was packed on a Friday night. The man handling drinks and host duties was on it. We had…read morea bit of a wait to get seated at the bar, but understandable on a packed night. Husband and I split the 3 meat plate (although we were tempted by the special-beef ribs on mashed potatoes). We had brisket (good and my favorite), pork ribs (fall off the bone good and tasty), pork belly (hubby said it was good since it isn't my thing). For our sides we had collard greens (we fought over those they were so good), bacon Mac (creamy and smokey), and corn bread (so glad we each had our own serving of that or there would have been bloodshed). That cornbread was the best I have had at a restaurant in ages. Staff were on it. They were personable and friendly. Kitchen staff--wow. It was awesome to watch the magic and teamwork happening in the very small wizard's workshop. Thank you for the great night and the leftovers.

It almost feels like you're in a mineshaft or an antique store, which I thought was awesome. We are immediately greeted with a very friendly smile and told there were seats at the bar (the restaurant was packed, another good sign). A few minutes go by and we're still standing at the check-in, and another couple comes in. They are greeted in the same way, offered seats at the bar, and are thusly ushered to their seats... while we were still standing there. Okay, few more minutes go by and we call out the table that was just cleaned, and we get seated. The menu looks phenomenal, and we ended up getting the meat combo to try everything. This is where it gets even worse. The barbecue itself took a while to get to our table, which would be fine if it wasn't cold. Yes, you heard correctly, the barbecue was all cold. Baked beans had to have been Bush's. Potato salad and Mac was good, same with the cornbread. But the main things we paid $60 for were cold. The ribs were beyond burnt, and the brisket was tough. Oh, and the single sausage we got was slathered in mustard and barbecue sauce, come to think of it everything on the plate was slathered in barbecue sauce. Usually not a good sign lol. I really wish I could say nicer things about this place but I unfortunately cannot recommend it to anyone. But hey, they're packed so maybe that's just the quality of the food around Kalispell. It might have been because it was some sort of a trivia night and they seemed quite busy with a regular crowd that was there. However, I did stay and I ended up ordering the ginger bowl 2.0 along with a hummus plate and I was very, very surprised as how good it all was. In fact "excellent " tells it all. I would definitely come back just for those two selections alone. Not at all what I would've expected in a "bar" in Columbia Falls, Montana. Some Asian choices, some Middle Eastern choices, some American choices on the menu and more. I was very impressed with just the two that I got so I want to come back and try again. The ambience was rather an open environment, wood chairs, wood tables, no booths, but comfortable and had more of that "bar" feel to it but there were kids there so families were welcome

The house fries are the BEST I've had, EVER. Didn't have luck with fries in Idaho but Montana came through. We originally just ordered the beef burger which had great quality meat ordered medium well. Once we tasted the fries I immediately asked to order a large batch. I'll be coming back. Also, great fast service. Helpful and nice waitress and great cook.

Like so many other places in the area you order from a counter and then sit and wait to pick up your food. Our group had a cheeseburger, BLT, kids cheese quesadilla and the Glacier Dip. The BLT and Glacier Dip were awesome. The kids said their cheeseburger and quesadilla were ok. Of course we had shakes again too. The shakes were perfection! Prices were good for the food, I think the drinks (iced tea, lemonade and a soda) were expensive at $4 each. I don't think they offered refills either? As is always the case at these types of places I am never sure if we are meant to bus our own tables or not? Anyways I would definitely recommend a stop here!

Plenty of food gifts and other souvenirs to choose from. This is a stand in line and order type restaurant. We walked in, grabbed menus and ordered our food. The long line went quickly which was nice. You take a number to a table and wait for the number to be called. They do not bring out your food, you grab it from the counter. I ordered the original classic cheeseburger with onion rings. They have a separate spot to grab condiments and toppings for the burgers and sandwiches. Overall my cheeseburger was tasty. They don't cook to order which is disappointing as I would have preferred a medium burger but it did not taste overdone. The onion rings were crispy and well seasoned. We ordered the slice of huckleberry pie to share. It was super sweet, delicious. The crust was more moist than flaky but overall pretty tasty. The restaurant was clean and staff seemed efficient. The restrooms were located in the back of the gift shop and were clean. I thought it was a good spot to stop after visiting the park.
