The service was excellent, Niko was our server. I enjoyed the caesar salad. Several people ordered the short rib and really liked it. The presentation of the food was good. The filet was really good. I really liked the 1/2 potatoes, it was really yummy. The portion size was good and the prices were as expected. Since we were in a side room, it was a bit quieter and had soft music playing.

She was on top of the many cocktails that were being ordered and kept up the water for us non-drinkers, she was the best. Our food, from appetizers to the main courses, were amazing. The Cioppino was awesome and I would definitely like to try it again since I didn't get to eat it. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is, the young girl they had helping take dishes and help in other areas looked like she didn't want to be there. I didn't see her smile once even though I made eye contact several times and smiled at her. As our dinner was wrapping up, I was in the middle of a conversation, I looked up to see her walking away with my full bowl of Cioppino (I had eaten too many appetizers). I had literally eaten 3 clams and one slice of the bread. I hadn't touched my shrimp or lobster. When Terri walked in as the girl was leaving, I asked her if she was boxing up my dinner for me. Terri immediately went to check. She came back stating that my meal had been thrown out and that she would take $20 off my meal. I didn't want to cause a scene during the festivities so I accepted her offer (it wasn't her fault.) I am disappointed that I still had to pay $25 for a meal that I didn't get to enjoy. I have never had someone come take my plate without asking if I was finished, let alone without asking if I wanted to take it home. We spent over $2,500 for dinner and I don't think we will be back for another party. I would definitely recommend this place, just make sure to hold on to your plate if you want to take some home with you or if you are not finished.

After a weeknight evening hike, we decided we did not want to cook and were in the Bigfork area. We checked yelp and this place popped up, I wasn't sure why I never noticed this restaurant before, so we decided as part of our plans to try new places, stopped in. First, the service was outstanding - the gentleman that greeted us, and then was our server was pleasant and friendly. Second, we sat on the patio on this lovely warm evening and it was very nice. I popped indoors to use the restroom and the dining room looks great, too! We were overwhelmed by the number of seafood choices we had - it's not often I look at a menu and have to debate between 3 different meals that sound good, being that I am pescatarian. I ordered the Snapper Piccata and my partner ordered the Halibut special. We started with garden salads and they were fresh and delicious. Our meals were outstanding! The piccata sauce on the snapper was just what you want - bright lemony flavors with tasty capers. The halibut disappeared before I could ask, so I think he really liked it. We decided to try dessert and the chocolate mousse cake was decadent and a great way to finish the meal. Like I said - we will include this in our rotation of go-to restaurants, and we will bring guests here - we loved it.

My husband had the Lasagna and I had the Classic Shrimp Scampi. The sauce on the scampi was absolutely amazing! Again, best I've ever had. The flavor was so good!! My husbands Lasagna Bolognese was a big serving and just as tasty. We ended up getting boxes to take home. The French Press coffee was a perfect ending to our meal. I wish I'd had room for the dessert, they all sounded amazing. Do yourself a favor and go visit and ask for Gene! The service is amazing from start to finish. Gene was wonderful as well as everyone else there. It's small but cozy with a great vibe! We will visit again when we come back!

So we've been to Grateful Bread many times. Every, single, time, we leave disappointed, not in the food but in the service and the wait. The food is okay. Honestly, because of how long you have to wait to get it, I'd expect something out of this world, but it comes out as run of the mill eats. At this point, we know what to expect when we go in. What GB has going for it, is that there aren't a lot of options in town. Last week we went in before hitting up Harvest Foods, saw that there were just three tables of people and thought, ok, let's give it a shot, surely we won't have to wait TOO long. We were short on time so we ordered two Avocados toasts, one with bacon. That's it. With only three other tables in the house, it took 30 minutes. As we sat there, about 6 more tables came in. With ONE waitress. With also whom I can presume is the owner as I've seen her time and time again, also bringing out food, there was absolutely no hussle. Listen, I worked in food service for a decade. When I worked, I moved. People were waiting to have their order taken. The bell would ring that food was ready and it would sit there. The owner surely could have been taking orders too. Heck, you could even give the tips to the waitress! Maybe there is a worker shortage in Big Fork, I don't know. But girl (owner), you gotta be hustlin' to make up for it. And no offense to the waitress but girl, you too. Or hire a busser, someone to bring out food and cleanup, ring people up. In any case, it's always this way. We hadn't been in a few years and gave it a shot again. As we were walking out, I said "well that wasn't THAT bad", as in having to wait that long for food and watching people just sit there in silence wait for the waitress and then their food is a good thing. Also, not to be petty, but as a deadhead, I take a minor offense to you using the name and not being vibin'.

Having never been there before I wasn't sure what kind of coffee drinks were available, but they had a decent selection so I ordered an iced caramel coffee (bonus in my book). We ordered a cinnamon roll to start and share, then our main plates. We received the roll before my coffee even though I ordered the drink first; probably because the barista at wasn't stationary position and was taking other orders. It was then that things slowed down a bit after a large table was seated. Once we received our food we were over-all happy with everything. Though my husband was disappointed in the potatoes O'Brien since the onion and peppers were just added to the top of the regular breakfast potatoes instead of frying them together. I'd say 8/10, we would go again if we were back in the area.

It's welcoming, charming and ready to serve you a lot of local love. The country fried steak has to be the most delicious have ever had. The steak is very generously portioned and is cuddled up with a blanket of sausage gravy that simply hits different. The eggs benny were very yummy too. I didn't get to have much of it since my partner plowed through the dish but the hollandaise was silky and creamy. The butter seeping into the biscuit just made it an all-star dish. The biscuits here are CRAZY GOOD. I think all of the baked goods are amazing. We came here daily during our trip (which we never double dip on a trip!). Cinnamon rolls are a sweet tooth delight. I wish I could take a dozen home with me so I can make the dish last just as long as the memories.. lol I would certainly come back and will do my best to keep it a secret so the locals can dine in peace.
