After a weeknight evening hike, we decided we did not want to cook and were in the Bigfork area. We checked yelp and this place popped up, I wasn't sure why I never noticed this restaurant before, so we decided as part of our plans to try new places, stopped in. First, the service was outstanding - the gentleman that greeted us, and then was our server was pleasant and friendly. Second, we sat on the patio on this lovely warm evening and it was very nice. I popped indoors to use the restroom and the dining room looks great, too! We were overwhelmed by the number of seafood choices we had - it's not often I look at a menu and have to debate between 3 different meals that sound good, being that I am pescatarian. I ordered the Snapper Piccata and my partner ordered the Halibut special. We started with garden salads and they were fresh and delicious. Our meals were outstanding! The piccata sauce on the snapper was just what you want - bright lemony flavors with tasty capers. The halibut disappeared before I could ask, so I think he really liked it. We decided to try dessert and the chocolate mousse cake was decadent and a great way to finish the meal. But honestly 2.5 hours for a sub par meal isn't worth a return for us. We ate here last year and it was better, but it still took forever and some of the food was still just ok. The service was good. The girls were accommodating and our server comped my meal and only charged me for the eggs I ate. But honestly the entire dish and more should've been comped as all our potato sides were inedible and were left. Disappointing.

I believe it was originally 1908 speakeasy and now they changed it to Showthyme Act II. Located downstairs in Showthyme's basement, this cool little bar seats about 15 people max. B very cozy but we came early enough that we could sit at the bar. We tried calling making reservations a couple of times but they were busy. Best to just show up early. When they announced that there were just a couple of elk ribeyes left, I had to be the one that got at least one of them! When it was served, the elk was piled with potatoes and mushrooms covered in some sort of gravy.if I'm ordering an elk ribeye, I'm expecting a chunk of meat on my plate. The elk was actually sliced in small pieces and maybe a total of 8 pieces. Really disappointed with this since it's $55 for this meal and it wasn't filling or fulfilling. The servers also told us to try the deconstructed beef Wellington, but after this experience, I'm sure it's a couple of rice cakes between a slice of roast beef. It came with a puff pasty which was super flakey and was a nice addition to the dish. For mains, we got the prime rib and the elk steak. The prime rib was a decent size, slightly over medium rare. The horseradish sauce was very strong (and delicious). Another star part of the dish was the maple candied carrots, adding a delicious sweet element. The Elk was cooked medium rare and was also nicely portioned. It was paired fingerling potatoes and stir fry garlic spinach. I think the oil was a little heavy here too but the meat itself was cook. There was also huckleberry reduction spread on top, but it didn't have too much flavor. Overall, the meal was good, worthy of 4 stars. The dining area had a nice ambience and I really like the stained glass windows. It did take a bit between courses but the whole meal was still about 2 hours and the staff were really friendly.
