Honey walnut shrimp and string bean chicken. With a side of cream cheese rangoons. Honorable mentions are obviously orange chicken, black pepper sirloin steak, or honey sesame chicken with a side of veggie spring rolls. If you're looking for a healthier alternative, I'd suggest hitting the super greens with broccoli beef, mushroom chicken, or black pepper chicken. I do appreciate their options for lower calorie meals, though it isn't 100% accurate because serving sizes definitely vary personally to person, it can be a great way to get a yummy meal in while not feeling too heavy after! People must love Americanized Chinese food. There's nothing wrong with it. I quite like it myself. Out of all the Pandas that I've been to I received the best service from this location. The manager on duty was named Angel. I remember because she has the same name as me. She rang me up and asked if I was in their loyalty program. She scanned the code on my phone and asked if I wanted to use some of my points for a free entree item. Of course I did. I asked for sweet and sour sauce. She gave a generous amount, not just one or two packets. What I love about Panda is the food is always fresh. They cook them in small batches. They also have an open kitchen so you know everything is clean. Trying to be more health conscious with less starchy foods like rice and noodles when eating Chinese take out / fast foods. Panda Express has "super greens" which consists of broccoli, kale, cabbage instead of rice or noodles. In addition, had their chicken mushroom and beef broccoli. It was a pretty healthy and tasty plate lunch!! Price is very reasonable and they give generous portions! If you're not as hungry, my friend had their Bowl which had Super Greens & Chicken Mushroom! Luckily there are many Panda Express outlets all over the island, and yesterday since I was working in the Kalihi area, I stopped by the Panda Express at the Kamehameha Shopping Center. Because this restaurant is in a major strip mall, finding free parking is easy. Depending on when you come here, this particular Panda Express can get pretty busy, but the staff here at Panda's is pretty efficient in processing the many hungry eaters who come here for their Chinese fast food fix. Picked up our 2 choices 1 with Chow fun and the other with noodles. I had the chow fun with Spicy pork & Beef broccoli which I enjoyed it was not too spicy and the Beef Broccoli was tasty and the broccoli not over cooked. The chow fun was ok I wish they put some mustard sauce in when you do take outs. My wife had the noodles with Beef & Tofu and Orange chicken which she enjoyed. Dinner in Honolulu, Hawaii... I had a generous Panda Express gift card to use and I chose to redeem it at the Kamehameha Shopping Center location for our family's 4th of July dinner. With lots of free shared parking, this Panda Express is clean, modern, and efficient. I got three entrees: Beijing Beef (a bit spicy), Chicken with Green Beans, and Orange Chicken (my niece's favorite), and five drinks. My nephew and nieces were surprised with the drinks. I really wanted to get them "Panda Tea" - because they like pandas - but the tea machine wasn't working or they had run out. So, I just got the pre-poured drinks in the display. They turned out to be one strawberry lemonade, two raspberry lemonades, one mango lemonade, and one regular lemonade. Everyone liked their drink! My husband and I decided to come today because our kids were craving orange chicken. I wasn't too thrilled having it be a Friday evening and pulling up only to anticipate long lines and a crowded dining area, but to my surprise, it was empty! Service was fast and friendly. There was no waiting for any of the dishes to be done cooking so we all got our food at the same time. The dining area was clean and well maintained and so was the soda fountain (no sticky mess). I've never been to this Panda Express, but I do love a good orange chicken bowl every now and then. I was in kalihi and decided pandas sounded good, so using my trusty yelp app, I found this school street location. Lol. I didn't even realize this place existed in Kam shopping center. The interior is pretty newly renovated. There are also plenty of seats, which is nice because I usually go to kapahulu where there are NO seats. They have high top counter seating and booths and regular tables. The have a lot of people coming in here, so you know the orange chicken is freshly made. It's not sitting around for hours like at some of the other locations. I honestly don't go to Panda Express very often, so I don't know if other pandas have this, but when I went to this Kam shopping center location; I found out that at least this panda now serves cooks drinks! Ordered a Panda bowl today, with 1 choice, mushroom chicken and my starch was fried rice. When I opened my container, the fried rice took up more than 3/4 of the container. As you can see in the first picture, that's when I first opened my bowl. My second picture is after I took two bites. My third picture shows after I took another two bites everything was gone just fried rice. I hope management sees this and corrects it! They finally made a panda express in the Kamehameha shopping center. Right in the middle of everything rather then going pearlridge or ala moana. The parking lot is big but busy. It's pretty nice & big for this location. They also have a tea bar that the drinks are so refreshing. I just get the original lemonade or Thai tea. Every time we eat here it's always the same thing. Fried rice, orange chicken, mushroom chicken & honey walnut. For some reason I like this place better than the other one because all other panda express always runs out on what we order. This place keeps up so that they don't run out of food. Your also surrounded by many other food & drinks all over the shopping all. It sucks that Hawaii prices are way more then mainland. I've actually been here a few times but forgot to write a review. I don't go here by choice it's always because my kids want their Orange Chicken. I can't complain because by now I have it down to a science. I can feed all 3 of us for under 10$. How is that possible?!? I always get the 3 entree meal and for the starch I get half and half, so fried rice and vegetables. Then I get Orange Chicken, Ginger Fish, string beans and chicken. I usually have a redemption code from the receipt from the last time I was there which gives me the 3rd entree item FREE! So back to the rating, actually the food at panda is usually pretty good and consistent it's also a convenient place to pick up pans to take to potlucks and parties. The Kamehameha shopping center is actually new and clean and has a modern look to it and it has a full Tea bar which is awesome but the teas are pricey and will tack on an additional 3-5$ to your bill. My only issue is the inconsistency of customer service, sometimes they are over board and try to shuffle you down the line like cattle with prods too quickly. I know exactly what I want and ordered it...I then asked her can I try a piece of the steak entree because I might get it next time...I was totally ignored and my plate was handed directly to the cashier and she told me you go pay now! LOL I just shook my head and paid because I'm not going to make a big deal out of it but sometimes it's in the details, like listening to your customers. This is the main Panda Express that me and my family order from. It's close to our house and Kam shopping center has lots of parking. They can get pretty busy at peak times and that's understandable. The food is always tasty and most times fresh. The workers are okay and it's always clean. I like their Panda Bar, where you can order drinks from and they're not all that bad to be honest.
