DO NOT ORDER HERE. They are currently closed even though their Uber Eats and DoorDash accounts show…read morethat they're accepting orders. I heard that they're closed for summer break, but I also heard that they're close permanently. Regardless, if you place an order on an app, good luck getting that refund! It took me over an hour chatting with different Uber Eats customer service, escalating the issue, and I finally received the refund days later because I refused to let it go. The food itself was just okay, but my husband was a fan. I didn't think the fried chicken was anything remarkable. If you want decent Korean fried chicken, go the little spot inside Paloma food court.

I ordered the K-Crispy Chicken "Whole Pieces" and really got ripped off…read more Out of the 10 Piece box, only 3 pieces, 1 leg, 2 wings were complete pieces. They actually cut in half 5 pieces of the Chicken Backs and each 1/2 counted as a piece of overcooked chicken jerky! I also got a 1/3 of a breast section with bones and not even a 1/2 of a thigh. That totals my 10 pieces. More bones and excess crispy flour then consumable meat. NOBODY gives a Chicken back (or 1/2 a back)! Not Popeyes, not KFC or Zippy's who will remain my Favorite because I will only get ripped off the 1st time, never again. Additionally, they make you buy the sauce, the reason is due to no seasoning on the over floured bread...but it IS Crispy! The Chicken tenders were overcooked and REALLY Chewy around the edges. Just a LOT of breaded Crispy with no flavor, what "Chef" doesn't even use salt? Really, if you're going to risk testing this food, PAY for some sauce! I hope the Owner reads this and realizes that ripping people off by selling broken pieces that most Chef's throw away because they have so little meat on them, isn't going to keep him in business. The profit margin may be up while folks are trying it, spending their hard earn $$$'s, yet not coming back will be the ultimate demise of this business as many other have come and gone doing the exact same thing, not putting themselves in he patron's position. Ask yourself this: When was the last time you saw a bowl of whole chicken pieces and immediately grabbed one that was back bone chopped in half?

Open for 3-4 years, it is one of those hole-in-the-wall places that locals who live and work in the neighborhood are cognizant of as a hidden gem. I am not the biggest fan of chicken...give me duck, anyday. But a good chicken sandwich is a meal that I can appreciate. Looking at the menu on the picture window...I had to wonder is Uncle: Korean...African-American...Deep South gentleman? Well, I think he's Taiwanese. Menu revolves around chicken. They have plates, sandwiches, and slushies. I got the Taro Hokkaido Slushie for takeout. It was okay...I can't tell you what it tastes like...other than that it was sweet. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was unassuming. It was slightly spiced...a bit different than I am used to and it had a bit of a kick. I would not order anything spicy from their menu. Piece of battered chicken breast that was both juicy and flavorful. A real surprise. Service was just under 15 minutes...I walked in and ordered takeout. There was one order ahead of me. Dining area is bigger than you would think, but there are only four tables inside...it is mostly a takeaway place. Parking stalls are for Uncle's and the plaza. Stalls at Upscale, as well. Hours are from 1030a till 930p...except on Fridays and Saturdays, when they close at 1000p.

I always get the Chi-Bob (Chicken Bowl) with the honey garlic or the wasabi mayo. You can get the regular size for $13 and the mini for $8! The prices aren't too bad! Since the store is situated inside a (sports?) bar, it's a bit dim but they are very accommodating:) you can dine in as well:)

They were so delicious that I ended up eating two! Haha. The crispy fried chicken was generously coated with flavorful sauce, and the combination of the crunchy texture and seasoning was fantastic. What impressed me most was the sauce. Korean-style fried chicken sauces can sometimes be overly sweet, salty, or intense, but Soul Chicken's sauces were perfectly balanced while still being full of flavor. The Honey Garlic flavor was delicious, with a lovely combination of sweetness and a subtle garlic aroma. The Korean-style sauce was also flavorful without being too strong, which made it especially appealing. Both flavors had their own unique charm, so it was hard to choose just one. Most of all, I kept thinking about how delicious they were throughout the meal. The fact that I ended up eating two sandwiches instead of one really shows how good they were! Haha. It had been a while since I enjoyed a chicken sandwich this much. I'm sure I'll be coming back whenever I crave one. I highly recommend Soul Chicken to anyone looking for a delicious chicken sandwich!

We've been comparing all chicken from this trip to Maui Mike's! It set the bar, for sure! Tip: It's across the street from McD. They have their own parking, main entrance is at the corner. Inside you can order at the counter to eat in the dining area or to go. There is also a back door, visible from the parking lot, for pickup to go orders. When we pulled up, we thought the signs indicated that they were to go only. Once we learned we can order and eat inside, we decided to go that route. I suggest that someone orders while the other person looks for a table. I got their chicken drum and thigh, some sweet potato fries, and a drink, and it came out to around $ 17-ish USD, if I remember correctly? Totally worth it for me because it wasn't a lot of food, but the chicken was juicy, and the sweet potato fries were cooked just right. After finishing our meal, my friends and I each got a chocolate chip cookie, and that was the **chef's kiss** to the meal! All in all, I'm going to come back here again!!

So I decided to take my chances with the drive‑thru instead. Even with all the negative reviews, it ended up going smoothly. I arrived a little early and beat the after‑work rush, and the drive‑thru moved quickly. My order was accurate, the food was great, and the portions were solid. The bucket options are especially convenient for feeding a family without overthinking it. The service wasn't anything special, but it was perfectly fine--and for fast food, getting the correct order promptly is really the main thing. My family was thrilled when I showed up with Jollibee for dinner.

I arrived around 5:40 PM, but getting into the parking lot took longer than expected because of the very long drive-thru line and limited parking. Once inside, I waited about 5 minutes at the counter before anyone acknowledged me. I was the only customer waiting inside. I even stood near the online pickup area for a while, hoping someone would ask if I needed help, but several employees walked by without acknowledging me. Two cashiers looked in my direction multiple times but continued their conversation instead of checking whether I was waiting for an order. I finally interrupted to let them know I was there for an online pickup and gave them my name. Unfortunately, there seemed to be confusion about my order. One employee pointed to another, who then pointed back to the first employee while continuing to prepare food. No one was able to tell me whether my order was ready. Thankfully, an employee wearing a different colored shirt (a manager I'm assuming) noticed I hadn't been helped. She immediately apologized, asked for my name, checked on my order, and informed the kitchen that more chicken needed to be prepared. Shortly after, another manager also stepped in, apologized, and helped get everything together. I finally left with my order at 6:09 PM, nearly 40 minutes after my scheduled pickup time. The food was fresh, delicious, and the restaurant itself was clean, which is why I'm giving 5 stars for the food and cleanliness. However, this isn't the first time I've had to wait an unusually long time just to be acknowledged for an online pickup. In the past, my food has at least been ready once someone finally helped me. This visit was different because not only was I ignored, but my order also wasn't ready. I understand that restaurants are fast-paced environments and that unexpected staffing shortages can happen if someone calls out sick. However, there appeared to be plenty of staff working during my visit. My concern wasn't the number of employees--it was the lack of communication, urgency, and teamwork. I believe additional customer service and workflow training could help employees become more productive and ensure that customers, especially those picking up online orders, are acknowledged promptly. A simple greeting such as, "We'll be right with you," or "Let me check on your order," would have made a significant difference. Good communication goes a long way and leaves customers feeling valued, even during busy times.
