When I arrived home I checked the balance and there was still a balance on the card. 9/7/23: I had a craving for Panda on our way back to Vegas from the Grand Canyon. We are from NC & just visiting, so I've never been to this location. The parking in this area is very minimal. That on top of people not knowing how to park makes it disastrous just going in here for food. It was a total nightmare before I even got inside. I went inside and was greeted by the woman taking my order. They had rice ready but not any chicken teriyaki. She said it would be 15 min & I chose to wait. 15 mins came and went. Finally at 45 mins, I went back to register to see what the hold up was & they packed up my food. My rice had been sitting there all that time, so it was cold. I was so annoyed by that time & was just ready to go. When I tasted the chicken, it had a sour tang to it. Chicken teriyaki from Panda in VA & NC never tasted like that. It was very off putting. Food is great, the crew is fantastic but Raphael whom I assume is the manager could use some managerial training. I go here a lot and he tends to overload the crew and cause orders to back up and then blame them for it. Telling the chick who is filling orders to also fill to go orders and also take care of refills and do all of it in 5 seconds gave me a headache just watching. He could make himself useful and step in to make their jobs easier but instead he is barking orders and throwing sarcastic comments at his crew. Not an ideal work environment. read more

This was the worst experience i've ever had at a panda express. We go in there and it was not busy, just 1 or 2 doordash orders waiting for their order. me and my boyfriend came to order and the girl wearing a full face of makeup and red? hair immediately gave a bad impression. she was standoffish and rude, and my boyfriend had asked for a bigger plate yet we realized after she only gave us a plate, but we didn't wanna bother anyone. i asked for a plate, double orange chicken double super greens, super simple, then we go down the line and i realize they're putting teriyaki in my plate. i said i got double orange chicken and the girl with the red hair comes back, rudely says "no you said teriyaki chicken" and i said with a smile "no, i said orange chicken, my boyfriend said teriyaki". she was trying to tell me what I said when i haven't ordered teriyaki chicken at panda express in over 10 years. she then took the plate, said "we'll give it to someone else" and i had to wait. i told them AGAIN i asked for orange chicken and supergreens. it started to get busy and as i was waiting i saw 2 other people get their order messed up and have to sit down and wait, and doordash or uber eats drivers waiting a very long time so i know it wasn't me. i go up there to ask for some sauce and the other coworkers were being nice and said "we're just waiting 2 more minutes for the teriyaki". i said "i didn't order teriyaki, i ordered orange chicken" and they were confused again. the girl with the red hair then tries to blame the nice girl coworker for taking the plate away and doing something with it WHEN SHE WAS THE ONE WHO TOOK THE PLATE AND DID SOMETHING WITH IT. SHE WAS GETTING MAD AND FRUSTRATED AS IF SHE WASNT THE ONE MAKING ALL THE MISTAKES AND HAVING THE MANAGER COME IN AND HELP. i finally got my plate after 10 mins but another girl was waiting 10-15 mins for her plate and had to go up to them to ask how much longer, and they FORGOT to make her order and didn't know what she was talking about. i've worked in fast food, retail, and with people so i understand everyone has bad days, and im never the one to leave reviews ever. but the girl in the red/pink hair was just so rude, everyone else was so nice and accommodating but she really needed more training . even if she messed up, that's okay! we've all messed up before. but her being rude, telling other people they messed up when it was her, was disrespectful to me and the other staff. plus we ordered rangoons and they had no cream cheese filling in it (all 6) and when my boyfriend opened up his fortune cookie, THERE WAS NO FORTUNE INSIDE just an overall bad experience. please do better, thank you. thank you to the other two staff for helping! but it was a bad experience. read more

But after today im never going back. unfortunately they are just not the same! Food is always delicious but man what's up with nobody wearing gloves? From the servers and cooks all the way to the manager nobody had gloves on and the cook was touching the veggies bare handed, then I saw him wash a wok while it was still on the burner barely even scrubbed it and didn't rinse it after throwing out the dirty water. I come to this panda express at least once a month for my lunch at work. Its always busy here. Theres so many people who stop by and theres always a lot of people. The staff here are amazing at keeping up with the customers. They're fast and efficient. And while they do a great job at keeping the line short, they're also really friendly. They're always smiling and greeting customers. They never forget to offer their sample or ask I'd you want eggrolls! I can see why so many people stop by this panda. I think their team definitely needs to be recognized. The food is always the same so you know what to expect. For a fast and friendly service, this location is a good spot to stop by during lunch. But I'm really not here to talk about the food. I'm writing tonight to speak of TOSHIA. I don't know of her position but I'm assuming MANAGER. Her customer service level is simply 5 STAR. I'll go into specifics in a moment. Firstly, about my wife and I. I was a Food & Beverage Director with high end properties in San Diego and Las Vegas for most of my adult life. Also did a three year stint with the USMC as a subcontractor running Food Operations at Camp Pendleton and MCRD. You could think of me as someone who "knows the business." My wife...world traveler who has dined in some of the best restaurants that I could only have dreamed about. She might not know the business like I do but she knows people and guest retention. Back to TOSHIA. We've had two encounters with her. She's truly there for the customer. She's taken our on line order and the subsequent phone call thereafter. We had special requests. She even wrote a personal note on our paid receipt with regards to our request. Delivered in a timely manner...great family dinner. Tonight we went in to order/pickup our own meal. Met TOSHIA...what an absolute kind, considerate, and courteous person she is. As she's on the front line, I just love how she engages her internal/external guests.
