I only had the garlic fries which were pretty good. My friend had the tenders & loved them. Empty restaurant so quick service I walked over to the smoke shop & food was ready by the time i returned. However $1 per sauce is wild lol why would I pay for the fry sauce if my fries don't come with any to know if I even like it? read more

Great chicken! First time visit and really enjoyed it. I love supporting local mom and pop spots and this one is great. I was greeted by one of the owners and you can tell. They really care and want you to be happy. The chicken was cooked to order and served hot. The tenders were larger than most and super moist. I hate stringy tenders. The wings were very good too. I was craving some wings and decided to place a pick-up order from The Chicken Shack, let me just say, they didn't disappoint! From the moment I walked in, the great customer service stood out. The staff was friendly, and the inside was super clean with plenty of seating, perfect if you're looking to chill during a lunch break. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered wings and tenders with sweet chili sauce, and they were a solid 8/10. But what really took it to the next level was the spicy blue cheese. I don't care if you're a ranch fan or a blue cheese loyalist, this spicy blue cheese is a game-changer. It's an easy 10/10 and absolutely stole the show. I'll definitely be back for more! The food and service are always #1. My family and I prefer Chicken Shack strips and wings over any competitor; the fries are also incredibly good. Brittany is the best, whether she's over at the St. Rose location or the Sunset one, because she makes all of us feel valued as customers, and always has a smile. Every time we go here, we get excellent service. Food is always made fresh to order. The first time my husband and I dined here, the owners gave us free pickle chips. They were SO tasty! Chicken and fries are super delicious. Our 6 year old loves the food and definitely loves the toys you can buy in machines for $1. Bring your quarters if you have kids! read more

Restaurant was very clean, the guy that took my order was very short with me and I'm pretty sure he was on the verge of quitting. Wings were "meh" without any sauce they were flavorless, wings should at least be salted when they come out of the fryer and they were quite expensive for what you get. I went into chicken shack to pick up a DoorDash order. The lady was nice when I walked in. I asked if I could use the restroom and she said yes however, I had both of my water bottles in my hand and I did not have anything to drink, and she tells me that I cannot get a drink out of their drink machine and that I had to purchase something. There is nowhere in that building that states that you have to purchase something in order to get a drink. I hope this lady loses her job and I hope Management and our corporate can contact me and as I got in my car and drive away, the lady and her other employee were watching me out the window. I will make sure to let DoorDash support know not to send me back to that place again unless that lady is no longer working there. The lady had an attitude towards me. I messaged them on Facebook, letting them know that I would like to put in a formal complaint. The way they treated me and there was absolutely unacceptable. I hope they fix their behavior and or get a better employee and they could've handled the drink thing a lot better too and they did not. It will be a long while before I show up to that place again. My gf and I order from here all the time because their chicken strips are amazing and always cooked perfectly, however the last 4 times we have eaten here, the chicken has been extremely dry and we were unable to finish our meals. I do not know why the quality has deteriorated so drastically but we were hoping that it was just a fluke. Four attempts later and the chicken seems to get dryer. We are truly hoping the superb quality of the chicken returns at some point but are extremely wary to try again. read more

I was a little skeptical when I saw this location pop up. I was only familiar with the Sunset location in Vegas and the Boulder City location, so I was afraid of the "Chain Effect" and the food not being as good. Boy, I was wrong! It is just as good as the Sunset location with the exception of they went a little skimpy on the sauce. Grant it, I always order the Damn Hot smothered on it, not on the side, but the Sunset location drenches it with the sauce. This was only partially drenched. Other than that, it was Chicken Shack tasty, so no other complaints. I will be back for certain! read more

I'm sorry to have to leave this review. I've been a customer since this 2005 when it was called chicken bonez. This "was" my favorite and now its terrible. There may things that I can complain about but they are from past visits. Today it took way longer than usual for my order but it's ok not that big of a deal. Chicken was tasteless and this sides I ordered where tiny like very tiny, .89 each and wont even last 1 chicken finger let alone 5 ‍ All dipping sauces were free and a couple years ago they started charging for certain ones and I was ok with that because I had to be but they were normal size. Not today this was the last straw. I don't see this business lasting the long haul. For me I'll go a little bit further to Canes for HIGH quality food. read more

Order through Uber eats almost $70 in food wasn't impressed at all. Chicken tenders were very tough/over cooked spicy blue cheese never arrived requested napkins paper plates and plastic ware none of that came either. Uber eats driver was told that they don't have that stuff. This was our second attempt to like this place over priced not very good other options out there seem to be more pleasurable. read more

The first Chicken Shack I tried is the location in Boulder City. This location at Boulder Highway and Lake Mead is better, in my opinion. Service is always friendly. The food comes up fast. The chicken is hot and juicy. And the salt level is much more reasonable than what I received at the Boulder City location. All the locations have the same plethora of sauces to choose from. All of the sauces I've tried are garlic bombs. My favorite is the honey garlic BBQ. The sauces are good on both the chicken and the fries. All I ever order is a 3 piece chicken strip combo. I know they have other menu items here. Like burgers. But I know their chicken and that is what I like. Maybe I should try something different some day. Maybe not. This is the CHICKEN Shack afterall. read more

You can't go wrong with The Chicken Shack. Regardless of which location I go to (I've been to three) they are always fantastic. The quality is kept at a high level between locations. This location is particularly spacious and very clean inside. The walls are adorned with their typical spin on the "Why did the chicken cross the road?" jokes and there are plenty of places to dine in. The employees are very friendly! I work close to here and heard there was a discount for my place of business and when I inquired about it, although they were unsure of the discount, one was still applied. Now that's customer service! They earned themselves a tip on that order and a returning customer! The food is amazing, the place is clean, the service is fantastic what else could you ask for? I have been a fan of Chicken/Chicken Bonz for well over ten years now. When I saw that they were putting in this new location at Boulder Hwy. and Lake Mead, I was both excited and nervous. Excited because it is by far my favorite chicken place and nervous because it is dangerously close to work. Upon entering this new establishment, the first thing I noticed was how clean it looked. From the walls to the floors, it looked and felt clean. While the other locations I've been to have license plates scattered throughout the walls, this location had them neatly organized as a border throughout all walls. The menu and items are identical to the other locations. Today, I ordered the three piece tenders with hot honey garlic and a side of spicy blue cheese. This has be On my way! My go-to order since the release of the hot honey garlic. I requested them slathered in the sauce, but it came on the side, which is no problem at all. Like the other locations, you get a mountain of fries a long with the chicken. The food was as I had hoped, excellent and I definitely left more full than I was hoping, which comes with the territory. Chicken Shack makes for a welcome addition to this area and offers many different sauce options to chicken wing aficionados like my myself. What can I say, it's chicken fingers and chicken wings, but they're damn good chicken fingers (I've never tried the wings). If you need a snack or an inexpensive lunch/dinner after visiting Hoover Dam or hiking/biking/fishing/swimming in the Lake Mead National Recreation area, this is a good choice. My son and I come here every Thursday as an after school treat while we wait for his big brother. This has been going on for 2 years during school seasons and so we had lots of opportunities for something to go wrong or be less than delicious but it never has! The food is always great. It's always packaged perfect and never missing items. The people that work there are always nice and make the experience better by being personable and warm. Place was clean. However ordered the 6 piece wing combo with sauce on the side. I thought it was a little pricey but I was hungry. Cashier offered ranch and failed to mention that it would be 85cent extra. Didn't find out until I saw my receipt. Then she offered me my drink cup that was barely a medium size. I was like this food better be good. After receiving my order the wings were as everyone stated bland unless we count how salty they were. Also the hormone chicken was oversized and cooked too hard. The fries seemed as if they were recooked. No wonder I was the only customer in the place. Do not recommend. Buyer beware. read more

The staff is friendly but it's the slowest place ever! Three people in line when I got there and it was 42 minutes before I got my order and the order was wrong. Person ahead of me waited an hour. Another was also 40 minutes Food is just okay and it's expensive considering what it is. This is my third time here and twice it took forever! The first time didn't but there was no one there. Our team sat together and had our little arguments on which chicken chain restaurants were better once our food came out. As families, of course we're on the lookout for good quality with a good deal. This food was excellent and the service was there to match. The staff we met were young and seemed happy to be there, quick at their work and although they weren't necessarily waiters, rather just dropped food off at our tables and passed by nodding and asking if we were okay, they covered it all and handled our rowdy ones with a smile. So we were there with our football teams after their games.. three teams; 8-10y olds, 6-8y olds and 5-6y olds :) If you've been around even a little of that, you know we basically brought a hungry riot in for a late lunch/early dinner. Somehow the small team from the restaurant managed. Nothing broke, no one yelled, nothing spilled (inside, at least) and the kids were super happy. I didn't hear one complaint about the food from kids or adults. (I did forget to say no-pickles in my burger though, my fault.) Back to which chicken spots are better. If we're on the fence about where to go, this place and pricing is a deal. The kids got their meals through the team but the rest of us were new so we got a mix of things to try it all out. You have your choice to keep it simple or totally customize. Cayenne chicken was hot and just spicy enough to enjoy, batter covered the whole thing, fries were crunchy but not burnt, and bread was golden and buttery. Now we won't have a problem getting family-sized boxes and sharing. Every single person was happy with their food, not to mention the long lines of drink and sauce choices. Larry, the owner/manager walked around the whole time, helping expedite the orders, giving hi-fives out to the kids and telling us the story of the restaurant and their plans for more locations. He gave this place a great vibe, almost like a small business rather than a chain restaurant, so we're happy to support this place. If he took part in the hiring, I can see how the staff were chosen so well. Our only advice was to find a way to get the word out faster!

We also ordered a 1/2 traditional fried chicken (original flavor w/Spice also on the side) to take home and when we got home, the 1/2 chicken was in one whole piece...surprise! In the pics on the ordering board, it showed the chicken in pieces (like normal), next time I'll know to order in pieces and not a whole 1/2 chicken. This would have been 5 starts, but there were a couple of factors that was not as good. My husband's chicken sandwich was supposed to have sauce on the side, since I was going to take the sauce home for my leftovers, since my husband did not want sauce on his sandwich, but the sandwich came out tossed in the sauce....not what he wanted. But since it already took a while for our food to come out (I know everything is made fresh when ordered), he just ate it as is. Also the guy taking our order was not very attentive or knowledgeable. We had questions, since this was our first visit and he was not very clear with his answers. When my BIL ordered, he couldn't really give him a clear answer on his questions either. Plus my wings came out when everyone at the table had finished eating. Next time, I will order take out....but great food!!!
