I went into chicken shack to pick up a DoorDash order. The lady was nice when I walked in. I asked if I could use the restroom and she said yes however, I had both of my water bottles in my hand and I did not have anything to drink, and she tells me that I cannot get a drink out of their drink machine and that I had to purchase something. There is nowhere in that building that states that you have to purchase something in order to get a drink. I hope this lady loses her job and I hope Management and our corporate can contact me and as I got in my car and drive away, the lady and her other employee were watching me out the window. I will make sure to let DoorDash support know not to send me back to that place again unless that lady is no longer working there. The lady had an attitude towards me. I messaged them on Facebook, letting them know that I would like to put in a formal complaint. The way they treated me and there was absolutely unacceptable. I hope they fix their behavior and or get a better employee and they could've handled the drink thing a lot better too and they did not. It will be a long while before I show up to that place again. My gf and I order from here all the time because their chicken strips are amazing and always cooked perfectly, however the last 4 times we have eaten here, the chicken has been extremely dry and we were unable to finish our meals. I do not know why the quality has deteriorated so drastically but we were hoping that it was just a fluke. Four attempts later and the chicken seems to get dryer. I was only familiar with the Sunset location in Vegas and the Boulder City location, so I was afraid of the "Chain Effect" and the food not being as good. Boy, I was wrong! It is just as good as the Sunset location with the exception of they went a little skimpy on the sauce. I'm sorry to have to leave this review. I've been a customer since this 2005 when it was called chicken bonez. This "was" my favorite and now its terrible. There may things that I can complain about but they are from past visits. Today it took way longer than usual for my order but it's ok not that big of a deal. Chicken was tasteless and this sides I ordered where tiny like very tiny, .89 each and wont even last 1 chicken finger let alone 5 ‍ All dipping sauces were free and a couple years ago they started charging for certain ones and I was ok with that because I had to be but they were normal size. Not today this was the last straw. I don't see this business lasting the long haul. For me I'll go a little bit further to Canes for HIGH quality food. read more

The first Chicken Shack I tried is the location in Boulder City. This location at Boulder Highway and Lake Mead is better, in my opinion. Service is always friendly. The food comes up fast. The chicken is hot and juicy. And the salt level is much more reasonable than what I received at the Boulder City location. All the locations have the same plethora of sauces to choose from. All of the sauces I've tried are garlic bombs. My favorite is the honey garlic BBQ. The sauces are good on both the chicken and the fries. All I ever order is a 3 piece chicken strip combo. I know they have other menu items here. Like burgers. But I know their chicken and that is what I like. Maybe I should try something different some day. Maybe not. You can't go wrong with The Chicken Shack. Regardless of which location I go to (I've been to three) they are always fantastic. The quality is kept at a high level between locations. This location is particularly spacious and very clean inside. The walls are adorned with their typical spin on the "Why did the chicken cross the road?" jokes and there are plenty of places to dine in. The employees are very friendly! I work close to here and heard there was a discount for my place of business and when I inquired about it, although they were unsure of the discount, one was still applied. Now that's customer service! They earned themselves a tip on that order and a returning customer! The food is amazing, the place is clean, the service is fantastic what else could you ask for? I have been a fan of Chicken/Chicken Bonz for well over ten years now. When I saw that they were putting in this new location at Boulder Hwy. and Lake Mead, I was both excited and nervous. Excited because it is by far my favorite chicken place and nervous because it is dangerously close to work. Upon entering this new establishment, the first thing I noticed was how clean it looked. From the walls to the floors, it looked and felt clean. While the other locations I've been to have license plates scattered throughout the walls, this location had them neatly organized as a border throughout all walls. The menu and items are identical to the other locations. Today, I ordered the three piece tenders with hot honey garlic and a side of spicy blue cheese. This has be On my way! My go-to order since the release of the hot honey garlic. I requested them slathered in the sauce, but it came on the side, which is no problem at all. Like the other locations, you get a mountain of fries a long with the chicken. The food was as I had hoped, excellent and I definitely left more full than I was hoping, which comes with the territory. Chicken Shack makes for a welcome addition to this area and offers many different sauce options to chicken wing aficionados like my myself.
