I just had to rate this location because of the excellent service I see from all the staff here. They really go above and beyond to ensure you are enjoying your meal (even coming to the table offering more sauces). I have never seen such great service at a fast food place before. Busy location inside the station. The worker was so kind. I didn't realize my coupon was for online only and I felt bad holding up the line trying to figure it out. The worker also informed my of the military discount I wasn't aware of. Since I had already paid, she gave me a free cookie instead. That was very kind. We said ok but pointed to the restrooms and said we'd use those and head back out. Apparently this was not okay. Yelp 100 Challenge 2017 - #37/100 Panda Express the Westernized version of Chinese food. As always you get smaller portions than those authentic places. I like this store in that the fried rice and chow mein are less oily than other Panda Express, although the taste does not compare, maybe due to the less fat? Love their Beijing beef and beef broccoli (I ask for less beef more broccoli). The chicken and green beans is also a good alternative. It's a favorite rest stop and lunch option for travelers as one time we made the mistake of stopping by during high noon and there was a bus load of people that got there ahead of us. The line snaking through the front of the store. Had to give up and go somewhere else coz I knew it was going to be a wait as I looked to the dining area it was jammed with diners as well. The area has grown a lot with many new trendy eateries and this Panda franchise has evolved with time. The interior is now modern, clean and bright. Food is the usual Panda offerings. Noodle today tasted under-seasoned (sign above counter says noodles equal 500 calories so perhaps a bit less salt is a blessing). The super green broccoli tasted healthily garlicky. However, by the time we got home and opened the plates I realized there was not even one piece of chicken in my daughter's string bean chicken entree. WORST STAFF EVER! Should be 0 stars. When I first order everything was fine, then the cashier accused me and my mom of "stealing" 2 large drinks, when it's COVID protocol to in order to get the drinks they would have to give them to you. We had to wait on the side of the building for our food, when she gave us the food she ASKED me if we got the drinks and I said no she said ok give me one moment. She came back asking for my receipt, but I said why do you need my receipt if you asked me and knew I purchased and you didn't give them to me, she said I remember giving them to you when you payed. Anyway, I gave her my receipt and she said well we need to check the cameras. 1/2 an hour went by and I was still waiting to get my drinks, she said her manager checked the cameras and saw she gave them to me so I cannot get more. So I said then show me the cameras, let me talk to the manager, or go check my car because you did not give me the drinks. She then said they cannot do that so I said i do not want to fight for 5$ but I purchased those drinks so I will get them. She said ok then please wait outside, my mom came out of the car and started talking to the lady who had made me wait 30 min for 2 drinks and the lady moved a table toward my mom so my mom would have to go out the door or get hit by the table. She never gave the drinks to me and made me wait another 1/2 hour for the cook to come and nicely talk it out with me and he gave me the drinks and fresh food because by now my food was cold. In the end the "manager" was racist, rude, cowardly, and caught in a lie when we called her bluff. The cook was more of a manager than the actual manager. The managers looked at the employee and at the customer and continued their conversation. The employee looking for assistance gave up since she didn't get any support. So like the guy who did the initial review of this place, for every trip to Vegas, our usual family stop would be some at a hamburger place. We never stopped at Panda Express. One day however the lines were way to long @ neighboring In and Out and we decided to stop here instead. (Sure there were lines as well but it was not that bad and the lines moved pretty quickly. There was also plenty of seating for everyone.) It was actually a nice choice to make a stop here because we found a good deal with their family deal. 3 entrees with rice and noodles for a little under $30. We got orange chicken, veggies with eggplants, and their new sweet and spicy chicken. This is a great deal for a large hungry group on the way to Vegas. If I could I would give this place no stars at all! This was some of the absolute worst service I have ever received at any fast food place we have gone to. First off they only had about 3-4 meat choices to choose from, and when I got on my phone to let my family know what they had since they didn't have what they had asked for the lady got pissed off and threw down our boxes and literally crossed her arms waiting for us. When I had asked if they had another item she said, and I quote, "these are the only things we have, can't you read?". Finally after making our way down I notice the girl didn't put any sauce on the teriyaki( like I asked) nor did she put any in the cups, when I asked for some the cashier got pissed off and said " God why didn't you tell them? How many do you want?" When i got the food home it was dry, the orange chicken was nothing but hard pieces, they didn't even cut the teriyaki pieces and the teriyaki sauce looked like clumped up jelly so you can tell it was cold and had been sitting there for awhile( pictures uploaded of the sauce). The dirtiest restaurant I've been to in a long time. The restaurant dinning area had uncleared tables (plates and scraps of food or sauce) and the bathroom was worse. Only 3 of 5 toilets weren't unclogged and the working stalls had no toilet paper or sear covers...and the hand towel dispenser was out. Sadly we ate here despite the questionable quality of the staff. Most trays were empty and there was no steamed or fried rice. For a place that boost "fresh cut vegetables daily" there was a lot of vegetables in the fridge -- cook them!! Don't peddle off whats been left over. read more
