Don't be fooled by their ordinary dining room, their Chinese dishes are all excellent. Even their Eggs rolls was superiorly scrumptiously delightful to eat. I was very surprise how tasty their Egg rolls are. I am not exaggerated about their delicious Egg rolls. The service is only polite but not over friendly. Talking is minimum. There is new ownership here, and surprisingly, while the menu is the same, the quality has actually improved. All the usual Szechwan, Cantonese & Mongolian dishes are represented, nothing odd. Delivery is always prompt, and orders are accurate. Prices are reasonable, and the small size entrees are two dinners worth. Large size at least 3-4. I was in the Dunning area and tried to kill time waiting for my son to get out of his ROTC ball, so I decided to look for a spot to grab food and my mother noticed PandaChina. I wasn't too excited because I've eaten so much Chinese growing up that I got sick of it. Anyway, we went inside and looked at the menu; they had a lot of options but we opted to get a dinner special for $9.95. It includes: 2 crab rangoons, 1 Eggroll, an entree of your choice, chicken fried rice and a can of pop of your choice. I thought that was a pretty good deal because a beverage was included and a lot of places don't do that. We got our order, chose our drinks from the fridge and left. The portions are big! I don't know how this place got bad reviews because the food is delicious and I'm super picky when it comes to Chinese. The crab rangoons were super delicious and stuffed to perfection; I'm a crab rangoon snob and this was a hit, kung pao chicken tasted excellent and had a lot of vegetables that were cooked perfectly, chicken fried rice had that flavor and texture I absolutely love and the Eggroll tasted like any other Eggroll you'd get from a Chinese fast food place. I definitely enjoyed the food and will most likely come back when I'm in the area again. I forgot to take a picture and devoured everything. read more

This food is disgusting. There was so much soy sauce in the fried rice the rice had no taste--just soy sauce. The main entree moo shu pork only had two little bits of pork and didn't taste very good. It's a shame the food tasted so bad--I threw it all away--inedible--what a waste read more

Hands down the worst take-out Chinese food experience I have ever had. Most of the chicken was soggy and had a weird texture, the sweet and sour sauce left a weird taste in your mouth and my wife refused to eat her chicken lo mein after the second bite. We ended up spending $30 to throw the food away and eat leftovers out of the fridge instead. Lesson learned. read more

I ordered my usual orange chicken dinner special that comes with a drink of your choice, and I added an order of chicken rice, and egg rolls that come with 2. They were so kind to include 2 nice size crab Rangoon's samples and an extra egg roll with my order! My boyfriend devoured the 2 rangoons, and I ate the egg rolls (my favorite!). Ample servings-- plenty of food in which to feast. Rangoon(s) very tasty. A couple were over-fried (lost chewy pleasure). Egg roll wraps crispy, inside contents disappointing: no cabbage, carrot or sprout crunches, just pasty-meat w/ acceptable flavor. Pad Thai disappointing: overpowering julienned large white onions used instead of green garden onions; again, no (julienned topped) carrot crunch; noodles slightly overcooked (broke easily like gf-type products on reheat); served w/ lemon garni instead of traditional lime wedges. Kung pao beef requested mild-to-medium spicy; absolutely no heat nor single pepper in entree, but a 50/50 portion of eighth-cut chunks of green bell peppers, sprinkled w/ a few mushroom slices and a couple of white or yellow onion strips, and traditional peanuts. Tasty. Pan fried noodles ("Crispy noodles" via menu, could not be substituted for rice, so ordered ala carte as added side (regardless, (included) rice was not delivered--but maybe all entrees oddly do not include rice as was expected. Overall, good effort by this restaurant, a strong three-stars. Was craving Chinese & Thai, found this accommodation nearby, appreciated fast delivery, finding, disappointing tastes were offset by the quick delivery. I had the Kung Pao Dinner special. You get a lot of food for the money. I selected a root beer soda as my beverage and it was quite good, the best part of the special! You get two of the crab rangoon and an eggroll. The crab rangoon were delicious and creamy. They weren't sweet like I tend to prefer, but they weren't bitter like some places either. They were fried a bit too hard on the ends and were folded funny, though. The eggroll was good. The fried rice...I finally found one worse than Panda Express. It was drier than my foot when I forget to oil up after a shower. The Kung Pao Beef...if you're not a fan of flavor and you love tough-ish meat, well then, this dish is for you! I had to add some garlic salt to both the entree and the rice. It was still bland. I don't like bland food so Panda China's Kung Pao gets a NO from me. read more

Ok. First of all- our order was almost $85 We ordered online. The website said we automatically get a 15% discount applied for first online orders. It also said that pickup was in a half hour. We get there and the woman at register tried several times to not honor the discount even though we showed her on the phone that it is already applied to our order. She said she would only give 10%. I showed her again. Third time. She said ok. She applied the 15% as our final order on the screen said. Then gave back the wrong change. I have been waiting to speak to the manager of this place on Narragansett &Irving Pk...I was so content with a fast food place.But I have ordered 2 times at different days the Chicken Egg Foo Young & twice was force to throw it out because it was burned.Eggs burn very easy &the chicken looked beyond recognition but since it is smothered in gravy you cannot tell until you serve it.So sadly disappointed. I called the restaurant but all the order taker could explain was "she not the manager ".Did I mention that it was extremely salted beyond eating as well. This place is one of those small hole in the wall Chinese restaurants. I ordered my food and asked where the bathroom was and the girl behind the counter replied we don't have a bathroom go to subway or jewel to use the bathroom. Geez that's the worst customer service I've ever heard of, I'm a paying customer and you have no bathroom for me . That almost seems illegal. I would not recommend this place to a friend. First time I ordered from them (via phone) I ordered from the dinner special which are "served with chicken fried rice" and some other stuff. So I ordered the Chicken Lo Mein and General tso's chicken. When I get the food, the Chicken Lo Mein did not come with chicken fried rice. So I give them a call and they say "oh the Lo mein isn't served with rice." Well shouldn't there be an asterisk on the menu that let's people know that they are not going to get what you are advertising for that specific item or at least when someone orders that on the phone, you let them know and ask if they would like to purchase rice separately. Not only that, but the General Tso's chicken was not spicy at all as indicated on the menu. It tasted like sesame chicken but without the sesame seeds. 2nd incident: I ordered fried wontons. When I received the order, there was no meat or anything in the middle. They basically gave me fried crackers. Thats not what a fried wonton is. Will never order from this place again. read more

I want to start off by saying the staff was very nice and courteous. However, I was disappointed with one of the items I ordered. I bought potstickers, chicken lo mein and jumbo shrimp fried rice. The pot stickers and lo mein were great. The jumbo shrimp fried rice was bad. My shrimp were so over cooked, they were very tough to chew. I have no words for how inedible they were. I removed the shrimp from the rice and figured I'd just have that, but the rice was so dry. How can you mess up fried rice? This is a staple to Chinese cuisine. We walked in on Sunday night to order catering for a gathering we were hosting the next day, Monday. Found out they are closed on Mondays. However the owner, Michael, volunteered to come in to fulfill our order. Not only was he so accomodating and friendly, but the food was plentiful and delicious.
