The service is excellent, except one cashier is not friendly because she is very busy and stress out. The original owners are married and sweet and easy to talk to whenever I come pick up my delicious food. They are superior tasty cooked gourmet Chinese dishes. I never regretted buying from their restaurant. I wished they had brown rice instead, but I gave white rice to my neighbor as fried rice. The dining room is ordinary but clean to sit on. Not sure if they had a change in chefs or what but just ordered a hot and sour soup and the spicy beef, called them to make sure it was extra super spicy but unfortunately not even regular spicy. Very disappointed as the food was more sweet than spicy and when I call them their answer was that the food was spicy and didn't need anymore, that next time they would just give extra spicy sauce, really? Too bad I used to like the place but the veggies were undercooked, the soup had no chicken just north and mushrooms pretty much. Don't recommend it anymore! read more

We expected this would be basic Chinese takeout so we used these Yelp reviews as a guide for what to order. Wow were we disappointed! The Thai basil fried rice was more like a dry pilaf, basically soy sauce coated rice with some chewy pieces of beef. No spiciness whatsoever, no evidence of being tossed around a wok and no reason to call this a Thai dish beyond a few basil leaves. I steer clear of the breaded chicken dishes but my husband cannot resist. His general tsao's chicken was mostly breading, but he liked the sauce. The scallion pancakes were flaccid and undercooked, not worth the carbs. The only reason for the two stars is the quality of the egg rolls, those were excellent. read more

This used to be our go-to Chinese place but it is horrible now!! I placed an order on-line, checked to make sure it was confirmed, which it was but never got the food. I called and they said it was cancelled because I did not call it in. The last time I went there and picked up the food it was horrible, I was going to give it one more try but that didn't happen. I moved into the neighborhood in June and have been searching for a Chinese restaurant, as my husband loves Chinese. I am not a huge fan, but I enjoy some chicken dishes. My husband has ordered a few times when I wasn't home and has loved every thing he's had. This past weekend I finally gave in and let the hubby order dinner for us. My husband initially asked for delivery but changed his mind and told the man he'd pick it up. I could hear the man say "THANK YOU" and I was across the room. (It was snowing bad and had been for a couple days). We got extra white rice and many thank yous for picking up instead of waiting for delivery. We tried FRE for the first time and I was hoping this would be great - it wasn't. We live 0.7 miles away and it took an hour and 15 to get to us. The sesame chicken and chicken fried rice were decent and big portions. But they forgot the can of pop that comes with the combo (not a big deal but annoying). The Crab Rangoon had a surprisingly distinct Indian food flavor. I like Indian food but not in my Crab Rangoon. The egg roll was meh. The Rainbow Fried Rice was meh. The potstickers were ok. I was not thrilled with my first couple of visits to this place because I found their attitude to be on the rude side. Upon the urging of a couple neighbors of mine, I decided to give them another chance. I don't know if they have new management but they still are not the most charming or lovable people in the world, but for placing an order to go, it is worth stopping in for the good deals that you get and the food has improved since my last visit.
