Sangria & goat cheese croquettes! Amazing!
    Lauren L.

OUTSTANDING FOOD!! The best sangria i had the whole trip. I am so thankful we stumbled upon this small tapas on our walk from Las Ramblas. Loved the outdoor seating across the street from the restaurant and being among all the action in the rambla! We sat down to next a friendly French couple that told us this place had THE BEST SANGRIA they've ever had, and that they've visited Barcelona 5 times and EVERY TIME always had to come back to Palosanto. We couldn't believe we stumbled upon such a hidden gem!! Their Yelp page definitely deserves more love so absolutely go check them out! We loved the outdoor table we sat at

Very cozy place for some lunch or dinner. Menu vasn't big but there were enough choises. We took burrata and tartar.. Burrata eas AMAZING - soooo fresh and juicy, one of the best burratas I've ever tried.

One of our favorite places we went to in Barcelona! We were lucky to be staying at the hotel next door and even came twice! But, I would recommend it even if it's not as convenient. We had excellent rice (paella, but it's not called that here), and these were our favorite patatas bravas we had on our whole trip to Barcelona. They weren't fussy, but had the traditional sauce and were super fresh and crispy. The service is also super friendly and efficient. Amazingly at 9:50pm on a Thursday we were able to walk right in and get a table on the patio. Come here for great chill vibes where plenty of locals are coming to eat!!

One of the better restaurants I visited during my vacation in Barcelona. The restaurant is nestled on the Gothic Quarter, making it a real treat to walk through in the evening. The restaurant itself is quaint, and mixes modern with classic art. The decor was my favorite. As for food, it was traditional tapas, so we ordered several items from the menu. The pork shoulder was good, but I couldve done without the potatoes. The eggplant was my favorite- you could taste all of the flavors. I also really enjoyed the grilled calamari. Overall, I would recommend, particularly on a weekend so you can enjoy the surroundings as well.

Fried anchovies are better than French fries!

If I had to go back to one restaurant in Barcelona, this would be it. Casual but chic ambiance, attentive service and reasonable prices are all good reasons, but the real reason is that the food is terrific: amazing grilled calamari, the freshest ceviche, tangy green peppers and the most delicious fried anchovies ever. With a nice bottle of cava, sitting outside in the plaza, with a little breeze and far fewer tourists than the large plazas, this is Barcelona at its finest.

Very good tapas!! We stayed at the hotel next door (Hotel Arai) and our friend recommended Palosanto to us- little than we know that this restaurant is next to our hotel! We came here a few times and tried the Tapas and all are pretty good!

Wow really good food and great services! Sara is realy great The Carrillera de Cerdo with truffle sauce Is to die for! Highly recommended. Also had the tagiiata One night an that was also realy good. Have been here almost every day since we found this great place! LOVE IT !

    Another favorite!

Delicious tapas and great sangria! We ate several tapas. We were stuffed by the time we left. Our favorites were the fried fish and the potatoes!

Beautifully designed space with both indoor and outdoor dining. The food is exquisite as is the staff. When the bill came, we could not believe how reasonable it was. The same meal would have cost at least three times the price in Miami. Highly recommended.

Very nice place to sit down for some tapas and a drink. We bumped into this place while exploring the neighborhood and decided to sit down for a glass of wine. The terrace is located on a cute little square with some live music from the occasional street performer. Tasty tapas!

Quinoa salad with plantain chips and cous cous. Potatoe omelette with truffle

A nice terraza in Barcelonas iconic Barri Gotic located in the infamous Plaça George Orwell, also known as "plaza de tripi". This high style restaurant has an upscale vibe with well curated decor. The chicken and vegetable croquetas were very delicious as well as the quinoa salad but the prices were expensive hence the 3 stars. Tiny cocktail bar downstairs with an industrial chic feel.

This was recommended by friends awhile back, I remembered the modern ambiance, amazing Tapas, friendly service and the place was as busy then until now. For this big restaurant caliber, it's pretty crowded yet they do a good job with a fast turnaround. We did the early Dinner and by the time we got out there was already a long line for late Diners. The fact that even after a decade, it's rare that I go back to the same spot let alone they're still around after all these years. You already know that tells a lot and I feel bad for those who didn't have the same great experience, hope they give it another shot. See y'all soon! Salut, Vermouth!

My son had been here last year and thought, it was a solid. We put our name in, went to a nearby park bench to wait and watch people for 50 minutes. The servers outside are grumpy as to many people are crowding the sidewalk and impeding his service. Finally, our name was called, were seated at the bar, and watched a chef make the magic dishes. The menu is huge and I can't help but watch the delicious dishes flying by us. So little time and yet so many great choices, this won't be easy. We began with the beef tenderloin montadito foie gras. It was presented as a open face sandwich on a bagette. We split it as it had a huge piece of foie gras. The tenderloin was tough and the tapas tasted like indivdual components, not a blended or refined profile. The grilled razor clams were nicely cooked, slightly gritty and needed to be washed more thoroughly. The Spanish omelet wedge was spiritual, dish of the night award. The onion made the dish! The sliced fried artichoke was finely shaved, and again lacked a enjoyable flavor that I would order again. The chips with fried eggs and Jabugo ham was different, tasty and a concept I would not of thought about. Delicious! Casveseria Catalanahe was packed and stacked for a reason. A high vibe and energy even in the face of a revolt at the check in desk from hungry dinners. I came say without hesitation, we will give them a second try. The staff was friendly, engaging, warm and a good sense of humor, nothing but smiles. I can't wait for our next trip to Cerveseria Catalana and let them tell me what to order. Good luck and see you sooner than later.

We were happy to enter the cozy La Alcoba Azul and seated by a smiling host immediately & presented with menus. The interior looks almost like a wine cellar with brick vaulted ceilings. The offerings are best described as fusion tapas but there are a few traditional bites as well. Our waiter presented us with an amuse bouché of pumpkin hummus topped with roasted pepitas on an herbed toasted baguette crisp. DELICIOUS! We confidently ordered the tomato tartare with avocado cream, basil, olive powder and rosemary olive oil caviar as well as a half order of cured Iberican meats featuring chorizo, loin, sausage and ham, an order of the hummus with black olives, parsley, pine nuts and pita triangles. All were terrific! We especially enjoyed the meats and tomato tartare. I enjoyed a red sangria that was satisfying and happened to be topped with cinnamon...a first and welcome addition for me. La Alcoba Azul is a spot we'll keep on our tapas go to list! You shouldn't hesitate to visit.

It is tight inside, and we were tucked into the back room, but in a cozy way. Service is slow in that classic European way, not sad slow, but the kind of slow that reminds you to savor the moment because you are on vacation. The menu descriptions were a little vague, so we took a few stabs in the dark. The eggplant dish we ordered ended up being my favorite, and the hummus with lamb was also very good. I usually love olives, but these did not hit for me. They were a bit too dry and firm, so buyer beware if you are picky about olives. All in all, a charming spot for a romantic vacation dinner.
