Today, we decided to try Pagliacci Pizza for takeout. The local chain is celebrating Summer BOGO every Wednesday until September 2nd. Purchase any 11" pizza and get the second 11" pizza for free. We chose the seasonal special Summer Heirloom (the original cheese pizza finished with fresh heirloom tomatoes, sea salt and basil), and half n half Agog Primo (with Tomatoes, mushrooms, roasted garlic, Kalamata olives, goat cheese, fontina, mozzarella and parsley over olive oil) and Verde Vito (with Plant Ahead mozzarella, BE-Hive vegan sausage, peperonata peppers, spinach, over crushed Italian tomatoes as a base). The order was placed around noon at Pagliacci's Sand Point Way location and ready for pick up at 12:19 pm. Fast service! The ingredients were fresh and the pizzas tasted great! read more

Feels like I'm visiting the family when I stop in here. Do they remember me? Beats me, but it feels like they do. Pizza is great and you can order by the slice. Pagliacci is a Seattle staple. And that garlic salt... I'm addicted. read more

Pizza's were nice and the chicken salad serving was large. It was a little crowded but nice.

We love getting pizza from here! Both take-out and dine-in! However, our last 2 pickup pizzas have been a little underwhelming as it seemed slightly underdone. We've had to pop them in our air fryer for a few mins to get them to their usual "doneness". Hopefully it gets better because we love coming here both to dine in for a quick slice or for pick-up/delivery. Regardless on how the cook on the pizza is, the ingredients always seem fresh and delicious!! Dining in, is usually very easy, casual, quick and their space is clean and modern. They're always friendly, too! read more

Food was delish - per usual. Lane was very attentive and courteous. If the annoying and entitled woman in front of me bothered him at all I couldn't see it. Very professional. Not my usual neighborhood but will stop by again if I'm in the neighborhood! read more

Writing this on a Saturday when there are only two other tables with customers, yet, I'm completely ignored when I'm at the counter attempting to order. The two employees are busy talking together. They see me; ignore me. .Finally I call out, excuse me, can you take my order? And the hate that came my way after that! A guy who's been there forever slaps my slice on the counter and yells at me to come get it. I was shocked. "Are you talking to me?" YES, he yells. Yet, for the other two tables with men, he brings the pizza slices over! For this non existent service, I'm supposed to tip and bus? I did neither. And after years of putting up with mediocre service, I'm done with Pagliacci Pizza. Overpriced and over-mediocre. read more

Overpriced to begin with, high delivery fee (to go one mile), total bill for 17 inch pizza ~$50, then they asked for a tip on top of it. To add insult to injury, the telephone answerer was flat out bored, indifferent, and inattentive. Never again. read more

I love this location! I picked up pizza today and Wren & Destiny helped me. They were both so nice and accommodating, provided me superb customer service. They both greeted me with a smile, provided the red peppers, napkins, etc, and chatted with me a bit. They were so friendly and welcoming. I love sampling different pizzas, so I ordered 2 half & half pizzas (The Quattro/12th Fan Primo & Original Cheese/Spinach & Chicken). They were all delicious, but my all-time favorite is the Spinach & Chicken. Not only are the pizzas good, the staff at this location are so nice. It's just a great experience. Thanks! read more

Came here for the free pizza day. They gave everyone two free slices from a selection of four. The cheese is perfect. I like my crust on the thinner side, so this was perfect for me. Also wasn't too greasy. The garlic in the Italiano was soft but otherwise, that pizza was a bit lacking in flavor. read more

45 minutes for 2 medium pizzas. Last time it was burnt. The only thing they have going for them is location. Please bring real pizza to Seattle. The pizza is fine. But it's not worth $50+. Can't tell if it's just this location or all of them. read more

I love the remodel and slices to go! This is super dangerous to have along Sand Point. I have found myself here more than once in one week because it's one of the only places you can get slices outside of Cap Hill. And let's face it, sometimes I'm lazy and don't want to dress up and go somewhere busy and full of hipsters judging me! I can deal with my cats' sideways glances as they think "again?" In all seriousness, this pizza by the slice option is the best thing to happen to me (not so much my waistline) in terms of restaurants and food options on my route home. They have so many different options, even if there is only cheese sitting in the front display case - just ask! Most recently I had the squash pizza along with the usual cheese. It was interesting and a delight! Can't wait for my next slice - probably tonight! read more

I had a mixed experience. The pizza is on the better side of okay. The ingredients are fresh and varied. I wish they used more of the toppings honestly because they're good. The atmosphere is nice too. The service was the biggest disappointment. Very slow and a bad attitude from the person taking my order. An earlier review mentions smelling pot; I smelled it too. read more

I went to Pagliacci after a baseball game with friends, it looked cool so we went in. You can get slices or the entire pie. The place is cool decent seating, fish tank and cool movie posters on the wall. The pizza is good when you have it made at the restaurant. It is a good flop and no tang. But the past 3 times I've ordered takeout, its been burnt. They have good customer service because they gave us gift cards. The overall experience was good . The food is pricey but worth it because of the good ingredients. read more

Pagliacci Pizza - Cheese pizza. Takeout. One time it wasn't burnt. - Pizza Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Seattle, you don't know how good you've got it. There are two levels of pizza in my book: delivery and eat in/take away. As far as I'm concerned, there are different standards for both. Standards for eat-in being far higher: think Little Star or Pizzeria Delfina from San Francisco, Via Tribunali in Seattle. We are talking about a truly special pizza, folks. My standards for pizza delivery have always been lower, because I want it quick and easy. And let's face it, maybe a movie and pajamas are involved. Seattlites, the great thing about Pagliacci is you can wear your pajamas AND eat good pizza. Do you know how rare that is? After living in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and Seattle, I can attest to the fact that finding good pizza delivery even in great food cities is a difficult thing. So when I don't want to take off my slippers, I am usually not expecting to enjoy farm fresh ingredients and charcuterie from one of the best shops on the West Coast (Salumi) Are you serious? You mean I also get great customer service? Really? I'm wearing my pajamas AND I get to buy pizza from a company that worries about recycling their pizza boxes? Wow, did I just score or what? We love the seasonal pizzas, the Pagliacci salad, and the Brooklyn Bridge. All thin crust, New York style. Come on Seattle, put on your pajamas. And admit it. You've got it good. read more

I come to this location for slices of pizza with my nanny kids after they get out of school up the street and they're always super friendly and the pizza is always super good! The workers are always willing to cut the slices in half which makes it easier for the kids. They're always happy to hand us full sized to go cups for water, and the space is always clean. They also do a good job of making sure the pizza slices are stocked and if ones out there's always already one in the oven! read more

I used to eat at Pagliacci in the U-District ALL the time while I was going to school, but it's been a hot minute since I've had one of their slices. This is one of the few places close to my new office and it's so good to be back. In my book, nothing beats good, New York style pizza, and Pagliacci is on point! read more

Since the remodel this place is better than ever. Pizza by the slice is an exceptionally nice lunch option in a neighborhood that is very sparse on nearby lunch options. I've ordered pizza from here more times than I can remember. Pagliacci's is never cheap. But it has always been top-notch quality. I've had obnoxious half this / half multi-pizza orders that were accommodated with no trouble. I've had a oh-so-slightly messy looking pizza comp'd AND a replacement pie baked and ready to go by the time I arrived. Service has always been impeccable. Quality has always been exceptional. Pagliacci Pizza is the real deal. read more

Passed by this place a few times whilst commuting to-from. Finally decided to stop in on a Friday evening. First impressions: clean. Smells nice. Welcoming. Friendly. (These are important points; let's be honest.) On to the meat of the deets, the pizza: I ordered the Grand Salami Primo. I have to say that it was nothing short of perfect. Nice crust, crisp with just enough chewiness inside. Great toppings. They use some quality meats here. The down side is that I ate too much and I feel compelled to do it again. read more

I've had Pagliaci many times before but will never be going back again. I called to order and asked if they could bring the pizza out to me so that I wouldn't have to go in the store with covid spiking again. An hour later, I get a text that the pizza is ready, I call to say I'm here and ask if they can bring it out. 10 mins go by and no pizza. I call again and they say the guy couldn't find me and now they are too busy to bring it out. That's right, the 30 seconds to the front door where I'm standing will take too much time for them to handle. They also had a stream of delivery people coming in and out. One could have simply grabbed by pie and handed it to me on the way out. You'd think during the pandemic, they'd bring pizzas to the front of the store. read more

Yesterday (April 25, 2020), during the Covid 19 thing, I ordered from here and was just thrilled with my experience. When I arrived, the entire staff welcomed me in the door; a very nice greeting. As I waited for my order to be gathered and brought to me, I noticed that this shop was running like a top. At least to my eye. Every single person had a mask on. They were all working their stations and enjoying themselves. The shop was set up very well for safe social distancing. My server packed up my order and said a very polite thank you. I returned the thanks, along with a big loud thank you to everyone working there, which happened to look like all the employees they had. I must say KUDOS to the entire management and staff for a job very well done. Thank you. read more

Dear Pagliacci, I love you guys. Sure you aren't the New York style pizza I grew up with and you aren't the fancy California style either. You just have your own thing going on. A little fancy, a little casual. You know, socks with sandals. Anyway, I order delivery from you guys whenever the mood strikes me. Since you are fast and I love your South Philly. But ever since you started doing the Salumi pepperoni, it's hard to resist. Hell, we even order the salads once in awhile, sans the chickpeas of course. That's just useless filler. But please, please, pretty please make the Bianca pie a regular menu item! I do love that you have seasonal pies but they never interest me. Except this masterpiece. I wait for this to come into season and find excuses to order it! So please, consider making this a full time menu item. It will make me ever so happy. Also, I hate when pistachio ice cream is the seasonal gelato, Yuk! Thanks again. Sarah B. read more

Use to love but after getting a moldy pizza tonight I wouldn't dream of ever eating again. Pagliacci Pizzas are one of the few Seattle foods I grew up with that have stayed the same over the years...and I mean that in the best way. My father would take us to the Ave location many weekends and we'd gorge on the stuff still on the menu now...including the Pagliaccio salad and Goat Cheese Primo. They taste exactly the same. Why change what is well done in the first place? I'm impressed they can keep it so consistent when they've grown so much. If you love a certain pizza at one branch, it will taste the same at any of their other locations. Pricey - Pagliacci has never played the coupon game most pizza chains are trapped in. One way to save a little moolah - pick up your pizza if you can. They charge for delivery. Their large pizzas (17"?) average about $24 a pie. A small 10" specialty pizza is almost $12. Our latest take out order for 7 people was $115. That was for 3 large pizzas, 2 calzones, and a party salad. The calzones were horrible - no sauce in the pies or on the side. The pizzas and salad were excellent. This specific loaction is great if you're hanging out at Magnuson Park and need picnic food. They do have a reasonable amount of sit down space. If you have a large party, say 10 or so folks, they could fit in here. Very very casual. read more

As someone already wrote...... Oh Sweet Jesus! We got out of our car and had the most wonderful aroma wafting up our sinus canals. I want to give Pagliacci's five stars just for the smell. *sigh* We sat inside, awaiting our dinner, and all I could do was try to keep the drool from pooling up on the table..... Extra Pepperoni pizza, small Caesar salad and a pesto pasta salad. Bring on the yummilicious food because my mouth was a watering. I polished off half of a small pizza, and all I could do was smile. This pizza is DAMN good. The crust is nice and thin, just the way I like it. My only complaint would be that this is some seriously greasy pizza. Doesn't matter though, I'd scarf this baked dough down without a second thought, ANY TIME!!! Bring it.............. read more

Ya know... we order from here all the time so I guess it's just become part of our routine and I just didn't think to review. It's like telling your spouse of 10 years you love them.... they already know by now. But, I guess I should take a moment, as my marriage counselor would say, and communicate appreciations. So, Pogs, as we call you, you guys are great. You are ALWAYs on time, hot, fresh and with a smile. Come to think of it, you really are A LOT more like my spouse than I realize. You know we like it extra crispy and you always have our card on file. I get to call one number and you offer ice cream. Your salad is always consistently dressed and fresh as the morning air. Your specials are creative and you offer them up with Joy. If it doesn't work out with my husband, I'll be sure to dial your universal number. read more

Just got a pizza, bread sticks and drinks from the Sandpoint location and the mushrooms we're still frozen on the pizza and found a long black hair on the pizza. I have been going to this place for awhile now and loved it but tonight I called in an order and when I went to pick it up I immediately smelled the aroma pot and the employees were joking around... I don't really care if people smoke it but when you start fuc*!&$ up my order that I paid 50 bucks for.. that's when I draw the line won't be coming here again. read more

Pagliacci is a great place to get a decent pizza with a bigger selection of toppings. I had the Pesto Primo and the Fresh Veggie. Both were good, given that I had no other delivery options at the time, but both were also a bit soggy and had worn from the delivery of it all. I can definitely imagine both tasting better in the shop, rather than delivery. The Fresh Veggie was good, and the vegetables fresh, but was nothing you couldn't get at any other pizza place. The Pesto Primo, on the other, was a demonstration of how Pagliacci's stands apart from other pizza delivery joints in their selection of pizzas. Where else can you get a pizza delivered that has fresh garlic sauce, olive oil, and basil pesto? Sure, it's not the best pesto pizza you'll ever have, but it's still satisfying. Another great thing about Pagliacci is that they deliver pints of gelato. I had the lemon sorbet, which seemed to be the perfect way to cool down after downing several slices of pizza. My main problem was that I didn't feel comfortable with the price I paid for a pizza that didn't deliver (in terms of taste). In any case, I'm sure I'll be ordering from Pagliacci again some time soon, but next time I'll venture into their meats. GET: Pesto Primo read more

After watching a friend do some of his diving hours we went to Pagliacci's for lunch. I am a huge fan of their Salumi spicy pepperoni and the Goat Cheese Primo(perfect sun dried tomatoes!). It's the best I have found since I moved here from the East Coast (sorry, I miss NY pizza or pizza made at a good Greek restaurant ). I make the trip to the Edmonds shop twice a month and it's pretty worth it. The Caesar Salad is delicious, even more so if you like the fresh made style croûton, which my husband is not a fan, but I myself couldn't find a complaint... Well except they don't deliver to my neighborhood. All in all I am a big fan and after 5 years in search of good pizza on the West Coast I don't see that changing anytime soon. read more

Totally expected more of this pizza since they claim to have been rated #1 by many. However I found the pizza to be lacking real flavor and was overly and unevenly slated. (Honestly some bites tasted like I licked a salt rock.) Ordered the margarita pizza. The sauce was a very bland and basic tomato sauce- tasted more like tomato paste. There were no other flavors... except the unwelcomed salt bites. We hardly ever have leftovers in pizza... but no one could finish their pizza tonight. Staff was very friendly... so that gives it an extra star. But there is much better pizza in Seattle. read more

Thank you Yelp. You have done it again. I had a craving for a fancy pizza, which I don't normally have. I am just fine ordering from Dominoes right down the street... Sure, I like the gourmet variety better most of the time- but sometimes those places miss badly and your stuck with a not so good pie. At the chains you at least know what to expect. Anyways... this pizza is the sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeit. It is really tasty. Crust- just about perfect. Even my lady who rarely eats the crust left no trace. Toppings- Very fresh, veggies still had a little crunch (which I like) and the meat was so good. Cheese- Perfect amount, not too much not too little. Sauce- Well seasoned. The Olive oil and Garlic white sauce was particularly good. Salad- Fresh and really good dressing which is made in house. Centioli- Make sure to get this! Soo good. We had some marinara at the house to dip it in and that made it incredible. It's basically like a chewy thin crust cheesy bread. So yeah, we liked the food. The service was also top notch. The person taking my order over the phone was not the usual spaced out kid that you would expect. Delivery guy was pleasant as well. The only downfall is the price. I payed $60 with tip for a salad, cintioli, and three small pizzas. I debated taking a star off for that reason because that's a bit on the expensive side, but you are paying for quality ingredients. read more
