Pacific Catch - Seafood Near Me - Tustin, California

Sitting at the bar there was a nice breeze and the ambiance had Hawaiian feel. However, the Serrano poke was spicy but bland. I ordered the salmon and they overcooked it a bit which not good being a fish restaurant. I didn't like the Mexican corn and replaced it with the broccolini. My husband liked the tacos. It's disappointing when we spend our hard earned money on subpar food. I just feel ripped off. read more

Pacific catch popped up on my yelp search in the Irvine area and it definitely caught my attention with the food and decor. It's a pretty restaurant with a nice patio seating and a large inside seating area. For an appetizer I had ordered the pork belly musubi which sounded great but the rice felt a little old and hard. The pork didn't have the fresh how sizzle feel with the crisp and the fat on it but the flavor was good. The non alcoholic drinks juices were not good. The guava orange juice was just like plain oj to me and the sparkling drink was just like flavored sparkling water. It came in mixing glasses with no garnish so it didn't present itself as a drink that would be worth the money you pay for it. For the entrees I had got the Korean BBQ bowl and Hawaiian Bowl. I should have realized it a lot of food. The Korean bowl was delicious! Definitely still crave that and the flavor of the meat in there. It was cooked very well and the egg was a nice touch to it. The Hawaiian bowl was very good too, definitely worth sharing with and ordering again over here. Service was attentive, wish I had tried a dessert but I was way too full after the appetizers and two bowls. Maybe next time. But highly recommend the bowls to share specially the Korean. The drink and the appetizer was just ok, but the bowls are what will bring me back again. read more

The food was mediocre at best. Two of my party had the fish & chips. The fries were lukewarm and soft. The breading on the fish was soggy on one side. The server was good. There was no real hook to make me want to return. read more

Service was excellent. Shout out to Sarah and Francisco. The trio taco was really tasty and goes really well with the Tiki old fashion. read more

BRI IS AN AMZING BARTENDER! Best mezcal margaritas that I've ever had! Will come back!!

Dined here the other night l. Food was good and ambience is beautiful. Unfortunately service was terrible and had lots of opportunities. Our server was Henry. Lack of table presence. My drinks were never refilled and our table was never pre bus because the server never checked back. He made us feel like we weren't welcome. read more

Sarah Elaine is the reason we come back. Food is great but having someone that offers exceptional service is even better!

Service: Francisco treated us horribly! He completed ignored our table, never came to give us water or check on how our food is. When we told him, he shrugged it off and said he was busy. He didn't even give us our bill until we asked another server. He just threw the receipt at us and walked away. Very rude service from him. Avoid Francisco if you choose to eat here! Food: Salmon was decent. The chimichurri was overwhelming and made it hard to taste the fish itself. They should bring back the thai green curry, that one was a lot better. read more

It is no longer very common to try new places. Mostly because disappointment is no longer an option. The kids have sucked the life out of me and whatever joy I find in food, I value it. So I mostly stick to places that I know have been consistently good. This way I don't have to add to my sorrows. But wife is a little more adventurous. She wants to try new things and once every year, I give in. Yesterday I went to Pacific Catch. Wife and I and our two kids, Lucifer and his witch sister. After finding a place to sit where we would be least embarrassed and least visible, we caught a glimpse of the menu in between wrestling for it. I ordered the chicken tacos and it was packed with flavor and the right balance of crunchy and spice every bite. The staff was very kind coming to check on us every 15 minutes. Although may be they felt sorry for us and were doing a welfare check to ensure we just survive the lunch. It could also be that they wanted us out as fast as possible so the noise would go down a few decibels. The ambiance was on point. It made you feel like you're at the beach. One day I hope to return with a more sane company so I can enjoy it like it was intended to. read more

I'm a little confused by all of the five star reviews. Hubby and I tried this place a few weeks ago and were pretty underwhelmed. It's pricey for what it is! I got the grilled salmon bowl, small for $18 and I think that the Salmon & Kale bowl at Fish District is way tastier at $13. We also got a three taco combo and while the tacos were huge, they did not appear very appetizing, just heavy and too much batter maybe on the fish? Again, the much cheaper Fish District has way better fish and shrimp tacos. Through the retail therapy app, you can get a free appetizer which was cool so we chose the poke guacamole. It was a ton of guac and I like 6 small cubes of poke ... somehow the placement of the few cubes on a huge pile of guac wasn't super appetizing either .... And usually when we get guac, we're fighting for the last bit but here, got sick of the guac quick, thinking dang there's a lot of this .... My guess is, you'll spend more $ than you want to or is worth it here. I highly recommend opting for Fish District of Ca Fish Grill instead for better food at a better price. read more

Our server Hilario was great. Service is awesome. The hot lobster roll is amazing. However the macadamia ice cream is no longer there. No one has this, no restaurant does. so sad to see this go. The other deserts don't compare to this. read more

Great atmosphere and love the outdoor patio. They have a good happy hour that gets pretty packed. The cocktails were good as well. It's a nice new spot for the Marketplace. Sarah Elaine is a great bartender! Ask for her!!! Best experience! Guac-a-poke is a must have!

Really good food, which is why we keep forgetting the service and trying it again. Tonight is the last time though. Service was painfully slow-forget trying to get your water refilled, or pay, or almost any request. They bring the wrong order, and then charged us for both. Nevermind an apology, charge for your mistake?? Too bad we really do enjoy the food but the service is generally like this so we'll not return. read more

Came to pacific catch tonight for happy hour, I had the pupu platter and two drinks. The food was amazing, but the drinks were better. Sarah Elaine was our bartender, she was half of the experience. Food, ambience, full bar, and...Sara Elaine! Great personality and service! And the menu is differentiated. Hawaiian Asian fusion?

Love this place. Everything here is so fresh. My favorites are the Korean BBQ bowl, Sushi Bowl(pictured) Elote, Cod Fish Tacos and Rainbow Roll(pictured) .There are so many different options that look good that I haven't even tried yet. Mai Tais are also great. The restaurant itself is new and is clean. It has a nice light, open concept dining area. It also has patio seating with heaters if needed. Half of the bar on the patio, so the fresh air in the restaurant feels good. Nice chill playlist playing. A few tvs if there's a game on. Matthew has been our server the last few visits and he is the best! He's some great food and cocktail recommendations. Ample parking. One of our go-to spots! read more

Food was amazing but our server Sarah Elaine made the night! Thank you for a wonderful evening!!! We will definitely be back.

Food was perfect, only surpassed by Sara Elaine, our waitress. We are out of towners and she made us feel right at home. We let her pick our meals and she was spot on!!!! Highly recommend. read more

Love the salmon tacos here so BOMB!!!!!! The food here is good. The fish is always good and the chicken is pretty juicy. The salsa's are good here also and add a great taste to the salmon tacos. I gave it four stars because the employees at pick up have horrible attitudes most of the time and act like it puts them out when u ask for something or to pick up your order. I definitely recommend this place because the food here is great.... read more

Wait: there was no wait at opening on a Sunday but has been quite busy at other times during the day since opening! They do allow online reservations so save yourself the stress. Food: I thought all their food was fresh and delicious. I liked all their different menu options and was really happy with their calamari. Their poke trio was delicious and I loved how it came with so many different chips and veggies to eat them with. The Korean bbq bowl was so tender too. Service: Phil was amazing and had so many food and drink suggestions. My favorite drink off menu was the blood orange lemonade drink. He also had great suggestions for sides and food. Super friendly and would come back again for more of his drinks! Other: plenty of parking with alot of food in this plaza. The inside has great decor and they have a membership program to accumulate points. They also have their happy hours till Friday from 3-6 which is cool! read more

Cailee is my favorite bartender here in OC. Always a positive attitude, kind spirit, and makes my Hennessy old fashioned better than anyone.

First time trying and got take-out Ordered: Salmon Avocado Burger - tasty West Coast | Salmon (got it with half greens, half brown quinoa blend). It was very good . Salmon was moist. Thai Brussels- tasty and crispy Only took about 15 minutes from when I placed order online on a Saturday evening. Hostesses were summer friendly Will try dining in next time. read more

This was my first time here and jeez louise was the food good. But our server Dom and bartender Phil made the entire meal *chef's kiss* I came with my sister & her husband. My sister got their wagyu burger, brother in law had the black cod with Brussels & elote, and I had the 2 taco platter with grilled shrimp & grilled yellowtail. We also ordered some apps: coconut shrimp, calamari, and the pork belly musubi. IT WAS ALL SOOO GOOOOOD. Ugh, not a bad thing to say about any of our entrees or apps. For drinks, we got a Bloody Mary, vodka soda, and an off-menu drink made by an actual genius: Phil. It was the Thai tea martini and jesus, it was so delicious. The perfect amount of sweetness & Thai tea flavor. But then!!! Phil made us another off-menu drink that was damn delicious. I forget what it was called but it was a mojito base - and let me tell you- I'm generally not a fan of mint in my drinks but this drink was SO GOOD. Dom & Phil truly went out of their way. They went above & beyond, I felt like I was at a Michelin rated restaurant with their service. Goddamnit. If y'all see this, YALL ARE TRULY IMMACULATE. I'll definitely be coming back- yes, the food and drinks were good but you can get good food & drink anywhere. You can't find Dom & Phil everywhere. ;) read more

Fish is their specialty, and they do it really well. I've only ever had their seasonal menu's sablefish, but that's because it's so good!! The fish is juicy, buttery, and flaky at the same time. They have fish tacos and other great appetizers, but I come back time and time again for their sable fish. Staff is knowledgeable about the menu and are quick to respond. There's indoor and outdoor seating with screens to watch the games. Great vibes. Casual and healthy eating at its best! read more
