What a letdown! The pictures looks SOOOO friggin' good which is why I chose this place. And even my pics LOOK good, but man this was just a big unexpected dump in the bed. Even the beer sucked. First, there is is a plus... the calamari appetizer was delicious. They had rings and tentacles and it was hot and crispy. The sauce had a nice tang to it. The bummer was it was supposed to have peppers fried with it, and it did... but there were only 2 of them. Minor miss there. It was also kind of a small portion. As far as tacos go... I picked this place for the sea bass taco and they happened to be out of that one. Oh well... the waitress recommended the steak instead. So I got a crispy shrimp, crispy cod, and steak taco. And they looked amazing... looks aren't everything though (that's what people keep telling me, anyway). I started with the steak and the meat on top was cold. The flavors were good but how does that happen? It was 7p on a Friday so it wasn't like I was there at some weird time. I want hot meat on a Friday night!!! The Shrimp Taco was OK but the shrimp were all fused together with batter. A lot of batter works on a cake beater for lickin', or at an epic inning in baseball, but not on fried shrimp. Again, good flavor, but poor execution. At least it was hot. Finally, the crispy cod was crispy but again, cold. I did eat that taco last so that could have been why. But it wasn't like 10 mins later or anything. It should have had some heat to it still as it was pretty big and the breading should have retained the heat. That's how physics works. The salad tasted good but seemed it was dressed way before it was service, so it was a little wilted. It's a shame as this place has so much potential, but sadly, they just didn't provide anything fresh other than the appetizer. I did tell the waitress and she offered to replace the taco but I declined as I was already getting full and I didn't want reheated steak. But I would have thought someone would have stopped over and asked about my experience. Service was good and the calamari was good, so two stars instead of just one paltry star for cold, lifeless food and beer.
I remember coming to this location when they first opened. Literally when the plaza was just built. I always enjoyed their seasonal menu changes. I'm surprised I never reviewed this place but then again I wasn't much a yelper back then. The staff are still spot on with service. Haven't once had a negative experience from any staff I've come across here. I still enjoy their menu items. Last visit, we had some sticky ribs, coconut shrimp, ceviche, and grilled salmon chowder. Everything was tasty. My only thing is parking can be limited. Especially with home goods, Nordstrom rack, and whole foods sharing the same plaza.
Pacific Catch is located in the Persimmon shopping mall, with ample parking and dining options, including a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating, plus a bar. The decor feels Modern and tropical. Service: My server was good. He provided recommendations on the menu when asked and checked in on me a few times. Food: I ordered the Miso Black Cod. It came with a large portion of sides (sesame green beans and white rice). The fish itself was cooked perfectly, flaking easily with a fork. The miso glaze was tasty and not overwhelming. I really enjoyed the sauce for the green beans. I wish there was a little bit of the glaze drizzled on the white rice because it was just a bit dry and plain. Otherwise, a nice, light dish.
Good spot in a shopping plaza with plenty of space, which makes it great for larger groups. Came here for a friend's birthday and they were able to accommodate our party of 11 without any issues. I ordered the miso cod fish plate, which comes with green beans and rice. The cod was absolutely delicious--super tender and buttery, it practically melted in your mouth. It paired really well with the furikake rice and green beans. Others at the table ordered the Wagyu burger and said it was good. We also tried the Korean ribs, Brussels sprouts, poke bowl, and the taco plate (you can choose your protein and order either 2 or 3 tacos). Everything at the table got good feedback and there were no complaints. Service was friendly and the staff made the experience smooth for a big group. Overall, we had a great time celebrating with friends.
Ordered the Lobster Tail; came with asparagus & mashed potatoes and butter and green sauce. The Lobster Tail flavor was good, slightly juicy - however it was not tender as it was overcooked. Parts of if unfortunately were hard to eat/unedible. The asparagus was good as well as the accompanying green sauce. The mashed potatoes unfortunately oversalted, though good if you squeezed a lemon over it.
Pacific Catch is a California chain I go to when I'm in the mood for something on the healthier side. And a plus is that they have a nice covered patio for outdoor dining. I also really appreciate their birthday freebie. They're surprisingly generous with that and give you a bowl. I usually visit either this Dublin location or the Walnut Creek one. My most recent visit was to redeem my birthday reward, and my sister happened to have one as well, so we dined together and ordered a few additional items. At the end of the meal, we asked to split the check so we could each earn points on our own rewards accounts. I found it odd that our waiter was reluctant to do this and explained it was because he didn't want to risk being shorted on tips. He ended up charging everything to one account, which meant the other didn't receive any points in the rewards app. This experience didn't sit quite right with me. I'd still come back for the food, but I would've preferred not having the reasoning shared so bluntly by our waiter.
We've been to Pacific Catch in Dublin many times and it's become one of our go to spots. The food is always consistently delicious and we especially love the outdoor seating. They even have heaters for colder days which makes it comfortable year round. One of our favorite recent additions is their dog menu, which is such a fun and thoughtful touch for our dog that always accompanies us. It makes the experience even more enjoyable! The service here is also always great, every waiter and waitress we've had has been friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We really appreciate the level of service we receive each time we visit. Definitely a place we'll keep coming back to!
Husband, two kids and I came here during happy hour because we were catching dinner before a movie. I think there might have been about 30 minutes of happy hour left so we quickly ordered a few appetizer style meals and two beers. The food was delicious and so fresh. It was also unique and aesthetically pleasing. Our kids love sushi so they loved this and devoured it. The service was also great. The waitress was definitely busy but when we wanted to order two more beers and happy hour had just ended, she gave it to us for the happy hour price. Prices are pretty steep so I'm not sure what it's like outside of happy hour but I definitely recommend happy hour.
This Pacific Catch is located in Dublin, not too far after changing to the 580 east and exiting off the freeway. You will find this nestled into a shopping center a few minutes away from the exit. It's decently sized location, as there's outdoor seating, and also plenty of bar area seating along with just the casual dining area seating too to the left. Pacific Catch offers a variety of seafood options, but also has other options such as steak, ribs, and none meat options, but they are primarily a seafood spot. I mean, it's in the name. Also, a touch of Asian fusion in their food. Price wise, it's certainly not going to be on the cheaper side even for the non-seafood stuff, but it's also not too expensive compared to other places that offers this kind of dining style and food options. Service was good too, though we were seated in the further back room, and that did stifle the servers coming by more often So now, let's go over some of the food that they have here. The fries calamari appetizer was pretty good. Good portions, good sauce, fried well and the batter was nice and light. The steak and ribs was what I got, and it was quite delicious. The amount of ribs you get with this was a ton, and the ribs were done perfectly as they will fall right off the bone when you bite into them. I did wish there was more sauce on there, but nevertheless yummy. The steak was also great, cooked perfectly, and tasted great, but I just wish there was a bigger portion of it. For those ordering the steak, just be aware it's mostly just a smaller piece sliced into smaller slices (6-7), so if you really wanted a steak from like a steakhouse, don't expect that here. It was great, but yeah, not so filling. The rest of the dish was interesting though because it comes with kimchi fried rice and also an egg on top, with some tasty brussels and cucumbers. Definitely had an Asian flare to the dish with the ribs style and all too. I did have some of the lobster as the lobster they give you here is great price wise, as most places that give you lobster it's tiny, but the size of the ones here are generous for sure. Flavors were fine for it too. However, I did feel that the lobster here was a bit tough, as it chewy. I had several pieces of this tail, so it wasn't just that one section. It was on the tougher side (which I don't mind), but feels maybe it had been overcooked a bit or something. The guac poke dip was tasty, and comes with lots of chips around it. I mean, I don't have much else to say about it really other than it's tasty guac and fish. No complaints with it. All in all, Pacific Catch at this spot is a nice seafood option for those who want some decent food at a sit down spot. The portions of the food here were all pretty good across the board. The prices are going to be a bit more expensive, but most of the stuff here is seafood so it's understandable. The ribs and steak were definitely better than I thought they would be, particularly the ribs (steak was great but portions small) which was cooked just as ribs should be. Certainly recommend a visit to this location if in the area and craving seafood or even ribs and such.
It had been a while since we made it to Dublin. I had Nordstrom return at the Rack, we were excited for some fish. Seated in the Bar on a slow Sunday was a pleasure...our server was wonderful...food was great. Fish & Chips for hubby, Shrimp Appetizer for me. They even serve my favorite Ginger Beer...Bundababer. Just as good as it was 10 years ago when we lived close by.
Came here one afternoon around 2 on a Friday. Was able to get seated right when we arrived. We had the option of sitting either inside or outside but we opted for inside. Once seated our waiter immediately came with water and asked if we wanted anything else to drink. After deliberating for a couple mins (& our waiter checking to see if we were ready to order) we decided on what we wanted. Our food came out really fast and was super flavorful. I will say they're a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of the food IMO is worth it. Our waiter was real attentive and kept checking on us and making sure we had all we needed. I left the restaurant and went home only to realize later that night that i had lost an AirPod. After 15 hours of not noticing (based on my find my app) i found that it had been left at the restaurant. I called as soon as they opened and as soon as someone answered the phone i let them know "i was there yesterday around 2:30ish and i believe i may have lost my air-" "POD?! I have it here! I was hoping you'd call!" They then took my name and let me know it would be in an envelope at the hostess station. I extremely appreciate the customer service this establishment has displayed to me!
It's been years since I've been to Pacific Catch. Love the outdoor seating with the fire pit. I was walked to my table. It was clean but perhaps a quick wipe down before taking me to my table would be nice. The menu had a variety of different seafood prepared in different ways - appetizers, bowls, grilled, salads, rolls... lots of good stuff. And if you're not a fish or seafood eater, they've got chicken, sticky ribs and a burger on the menu. Service was good. The staff was friendly and courteous. For food, we ordered: Cabo Calamari: Great crispy pieces. Love that they have tentacles! The aioli has got a little heat. My only comment is that it was a little oily. Maybe put it on a paper towel to soak up the oil before plating. Japanese Wasabi Bowl: Delish!! Loved the ahi tuna. Fish & Chips: Except my hubby subbed a salad for fries (who does that?!) The salad was good though. U liked the miso dressing. The fish was nice and crunchy. Nice big pieces. The coleslaw was also good. Not your typical coleslaw. PC's slaw is really good!! For dessert, we had the Pineapple "Right Side Up" Cake with a scoop of banana caramel gelato: It was fantastic!! I loved the grilled pineapple in the bottom of the cake. Overall, it was a great experience with delicious food!
Great good and excellent service. I asked for sparkling water and got served a whole bottle of fountain sparkling water which tasted great. The grilled eggplant with miso glaze is delicious. The sushi appetizer role was plentiful and good. The main dish was the miso glazed sea bass. I asked for no rice and they gave me the option of double green beans or broccolini. Amazing taste and excellent value. Outside seating is perfect on a nice day.

First of all... LOVE this restaurant! I initially found it through DoorDash. I got the salmon fresh catch, Hawaiian sea salt style. And the "Nojito". The food came quick, it was perfect temp and perfectly seasoned. So we decided to try it in person and again did not disappoint! Service was quick and so very nice! The entire menu sounded so delicious that it was hard to pick what to get. We started out with the Calamari and the firecracker salmon sushi roll. Both were very fresh and delicious. Calamari was fried perfectly, not rubbery at all. I ordered the Asian chimichurri salmon with Brussel sprouts and he got the special which was sole with crab potatoes and broccolini per the servers recommendation (great choice!). I've been to the location in Campbell which has already been a few years, so I figured it was time to try this location since we were in the area. This place is actually really good! The food and drinks were all great. I had the lobster roll and it was probably the best one I've ever had or at least close to it. The drink I had was really strong, but felt like it was simply the alcohol and not the mixed drink I had hoped it would be. Staff was friendly and attentive. Half and half review. I've been here a few times, always ordering food to go. Food has always been good. Two days in a row I've order the Korean bbq and the fish and chips. Both really good. Pieces of fish were nice size and cooked well. The Korean bbq was straight . I definitely recommend both dishes and probably everything else would be on par too. But reviews are more than just food and their customer service Just always blah.. my second day coming here on my lunch break I came up to the entrance to be greeted by no one as the hostess moved chairs around and didn't stop to acknowledge me. A server passed me by to ask if I've been help and I told him I was picking up an order, he told me she'll be right with me. A person behind me needed to be seated and he attended to them and then also took the time to grab that said hostess to see where they could sit at but didn't grab her for my order. As they dealt with this customer who came after me for a while I notice someone place an bagged order on the table. I waited a bit to see if they would come back and didn't wanna walk into that area, after looking around I said forget it, walked to the table, noticed it was my order, grabbed and left. 3.5 stars... because of both the small portion sizes, and because they were out of pretty much everything I asked for. I planned to start with the Guaca-Poke, with guacamole and ahi tuna poke, but they were out of guacamole. This is California; how the HELL are you out of guacamole? Avocados are as abundant as sunshine here. Oh well. I decided to forgo the appetizer and move right to dinner. I decided on the sea bass with green curry and turmeric-tahini cauliflower, but... they were also out of the cauliflower. *eye roll* I opted for the broccolini instead and it was a really good substitute. It was seasoned lightly and steamed just enough to retain a nice crisp. The sea bass was great, but the portion was a little small. The fillets were rather thin and it was pretty much a vegetable plate topped with fish. Definitely not a dish to order when you are super hungry. Wasn't the most enjoyable dinner I've had in NorCal, but I washed the whole thing down with a couple of mai-tais and called it a day. read more

Pacific Catch actually took me by surprise this past weekend! The last time I was here the menu and food we're lackluster and not worth returning for especially at the prices. However that was years ago and this was one of the only options we had to come with my Dad post cherry picking. Service was good, attentive but not overly. Food options are wide and I love that you can pretty much customize everything the way you like by subbing proteins, make things double protein, and switching up sides. For appetizer we got the Cabo Calamari which actually did remind me of our time there! The fried lemon slices and chiles go really well with the calamari. And any time food can take your mind back to a time and place it says a lot. 5/5 Mo got the black cod with beet "poke". Cod has strong ginger flavor with a bit of miso sweetness. Beet poke was actually very good. 4/5 (Took off a star because they just shoved everything onto on plate when the beet poke is cold and everything else is hot making the poke hot.) I got the miso citrus salad subbing for salmon avo poke with dressing on the side. Portion is HUGE. This has everything I would want in a salad and I'll definitely be getting this again! It hit all the spots. I didn't finish and ended up eating the rest for dinner that night. 5/5 Dad got the grilled salmon with asian herb chimichurri, Thai brussel sprouts, and Thai curry veggies with rice. He finished everything and said he would definitely return. 5/5 Will definitely be coming back! read more

I'm so happy to be back! Pacific catch has always been my fave spot! We've celebrated so many occasions here, from birthdays to girls' night out, fathers day, graduation, and even engagement. This was my first time coming to this location, but honestly, it felt like home away from home. I love this location is close to our new place and love the outdoor patio set up they have. I'm pretty boring when it comes to food. Since becoming a pescatarian, I only order their like here. But coming out here with my BFFs, we wanted to try their Hawaiian-inspired menu. What we ordered: *****Their lilikoi mai tais were strong! Or maybe I'm just not a drinker anymore. Covid had changed me, lol. ***The appetizer samplers were a mixture of seafood and meat options. My friends said their ribs were delicious. ****My usual Japanese bowl with half rice and half greens. Poke and an order of crab salad. This is perfection! I loved every bite. read more

Went to check it out for the 1st time and the food was pretty good and the customer service was ok. But what turned me off and pissed me off was how nasty the men's restroom was. There were nasty slimy looking stuff just nasty, the floor was dirty. Especially when you have kids going in there to the bathroom and wash there hands. Great food.. a taste of the islands. We got a mixture of poke tacos, chicken katsu musubi, short rib and coconut shrimp in the pupu platter which was amazing! Lots of variety so I reccommend if you like trying different things. The tacos were bomb and the calamari was crispy. Side note: * they are charging a 2% Covid sanitation fee which we questioned since no other restaurants are charging this fee * Its funny because the hand sanitizer bottles on the tables are old/dity you can see it hasn't been changed out in a while, which essentially the fee is for?? read more

Food is great as always, fast and quick. The vibes are usually pretty chill! The service was the only downside. Our server Micky was not very nice to us when the bill came. We paid on the tablet thing and tipped her 10 dollars and she gave us attitude and threw the receipt back at us,,?? Like why?? What did we do to her to where she didn't even say thank you back to us when she threw the bill at us?? Also, this isn't the first time it's the 2nd time this exact thing has happened to us. Also this happened two months ago on a Wednesday she did the same thing. I usually brush it off the first time but the second time was not ok hence why I'm posting this review. If you really enjoy sea food, good service , and not travel all the way to SF. Pacific Catch is probably a very good option in East bay Dublin area. I have been here several times and have enjoyed the many of the appetizers (starts), sushi, bowls, and of course the Poke! I like how you can mix and match different types of ceviches or poke bowls to have a tapas like experience. My favorites are the Salmon Avocado Poke and Baja shrimp ceviches. The cocktail and wine menu goes in parallel to the meals. The white wine selection has a few of my favs. whitehaven sav blanc goes great with all seafood & Pacific bloody Mary is the bomb. Service has always been great, whether at the bar or dining at a table. I will be back again very soon. read more

I don't have words to describe how delicious this dish was. It all came together in perfect balance and flavor. Even though they were very busy my food came out very quickly. Most definitely will be coming back. I also had an appetizer of Fried calamari And it was also very delicious deep fried lemon And chili peppers was not expecting that it was really good. read more
Every time we drove by this place we always said we should try it. Well, it was my husband's birthday and he decided it was time. There were three of us, it was a Thursday night, and we were seated immediately. Although the menu is for the most part, fish, they have a lot of variety of types and how it is prepared. Our server was Viri. She was very patient with us as we told her we had never been there before and needed to look the menu over. She was very nice, made suggestions and answered questions. We started out with the fried calamari and the guac-poke. The calamari was OK. It had a lot of tentacle pieces in it that my husband and daughter will not eat. But I think we would order it again. The.Guac-poke was amazing. I would go there and order just that if I wanted something light. It's a big scoop of guacamole with a very generous portion of ahi on top, served with tortilla chips. It's excellent. I had a miso salad that was also good. I'm not sure what the dressing was, but I would love to know! For the main course I had the fish and chips. Good size pieces of cod that tasted very fresh. Our daughter had the Mexican grill chili lime shrimp. It's a dish of corn, black beans, pico de gallo, and a very large number of shrimp on a base of rice and salad greens. She really liked it, although the shrimp looked a touch undercooked. My husband had the three taco plate. They have four different kinds of tacos and he chose one taco yellowtail and the other two to be cod. He loved them. He said the cod was a touch better than the yellow tail and he put one of the cod tacos aside with the intention of taking it home because he was getting full. But, by the end of the meal he had eaten that one too. Glad we went to dinner early, because when we left the place was full. I regret waiting so long before we tried this place. The food was okay, a lot of it seemed pretty bland. As you can see in the picture (crab cakes) the amount of fries didn't even look like a handful. My tacos were cold & 85% of it was cabbage, I ended up having to take out a lot of it to enjoy my taco. The best tasting one I had was the steak taco, that was made very well. I tried my daughters fish sticks and they were plain, not even dipping sauce made it better. Probably won't be back. Our server was nice and it wasn't busy so the wait was not that long. read more

Enjoyed a decent meal here with a large party and I have to say I wasn't impressed and I wasn't disappointed either. My wife and I shared a Pupu platter and I had the seared Ahi tuna burger and then she had the Loco Moco burger (we were starving!). The Ahi tuna burger was kind of disappointing.. The flavor was decent but the fish was dry as it wasn't seared, it was fully cooked. The Loco Moco burger was pretty good, it had great flavor but it was over cooked also. The pupu platter was great! It included spare ribs, chicken Katsu masubis, coconut shrimp, and poke tostados and it was all great. read more

Excellent and fast curbside pick-up. I just gave them a call when I was outside and they came out almost immediately. They even ask if we will be putting the food in the back seat or in the trunk, so no contact is necessary. Awesome service! Crispy fish tacos: AWESOME! Siracha tacos: AWESOME! Salmon clam chowder: AWESOME! Poke with wonton chips: Poke was delicious, but there weren't that many wonton chips provided Black beans: AWESOME! Shrimp tacos: meh. The shrimp had no flavor and was overcooked so it was really chewy.
