I been to this place around 8-9 times in last one year and that's how much I like it, probably the best Thai restaurant in Portland metro by far. Service: Pretty good and also honest, they don't rush you at all and will answer any questions you may have about menu. Food: Very consistent in their quality and portion sizes. Cooks back in the kitchen really know their Thai cooking and have been very impressive in how well they use the Thai ingredients and spices for preparing dishes. I never had a chance to complain a single time out of like 8-9 times I been here in last one year. Space: It's small size restaurant, I'd suggest to go early for either lunch or dinner. I won't be back any time soon. When I went to pick up our food they had a sign advertising "mango sticky rice" so I asked how long to add a couple orders. They said 5-10 minutes. At the 20min mark after watching order after order of mango sticky rice get put into other orders I realized 3 things. 1) it should take 45seconds to lay mango slices on a scoop of rice for a customer standing in your store, 2) these people do not know how time works, 3) my basil crispy chicken is now basil soggy chicken... I ended up leaving without the 2 orders I paid for when he said it would be a even longer. This is the 4th time where the order was either messed up or super late. If you tell someone 5-10minutes, you should probably get the order out in that time, especially for a walk in customer. read more

This is the place if you live in forest grove, you've been here at least one time. This is everyone's go to place especially for students. My favourite are Thai tea, pac Thai and drunken noodles. You wouldn't regret any of these items if you have never been here. read more

Was seated rather quickly and provided menus and water. They have a pretty good beer selection but had to ask because it was not listed on the menu. We ordered salmon/green beans and chicken yakisoba. Food was good but the salmon dish did not have any spice to it (it had the spicy icon on the menu) nor was i asked about the spice level i wanted so i assumed it would have some. Was handed a rack of sauces but couldn't tell you which one was what. Felt prices were a bit high for the portion sizes we got. Pac Thai is a small family-run restaurant in the old town section of Forest Grove. I did find the building and decor a bit worn and need of a deep clean. The staff was very welcoming and in good spirits. They offer the typical Thai dishes here, I had the summer rolls, and Pad see ew. By far I tried their chicken satay and I can tell you that it is the best satay I've ever had. The chicken comes in four skewers. It is moist, juicy, tender and tasty. Finally checked out this place after hearing plenty of good reviews! Ambiance is lacking as it is very dated. Coconut shrimp was just ok...pretty sure it was pre-packaged frozen. Good food. No wait at 8pm on a Saturday night. Friendly and prompt staff. Had the spring rolls, drunken noodles, and lemongrass chicken. Just wish their peanut sauce had a more richer peanut butter flavor. Tasted kind of bland (just my preference). Also got a free Thai Tea for checking in. Thai tea tasted watery, not enough flavor. But it was free, so that's a plus! One negative: Big black flies kept attacking our food. We were tired of swiping them away every 2 minutes. I was pretty grossed out by that.
