I was looking for a vegan meal close to home. This had all the support of the community behind it. Went on Saturday around 530. Was not overly busy. Service was quick. Food was hot and yummy. I had tofu delight. They had lemongrass chicken. Basil chicken. Coconut soup ( i swear its tom yum) I don't recall what the hubs had. We ordered takeout passing through town and we were very satisfied with the noodle dishes we ordered. We like our food on the spicier side and ordered medium hot, which was perfect! Good amount of spice without overpowering the flavor. Both dishes had a good amount of chicken, which was tender and well cooked. The pad se ew included carrots and broccoli, both of which still had a little crunch so they weren't soggy. There was also a nice portion of each, along with the scrambled egg. Enjoyed my pumpkin curry a lot, and my friend enjoyed their yellow curry. The waiter seemed severely stretched thin, which affected the meal a little bit; my friend had been hoping to order a drink but so many tables were in need of help that my friend never got a chance. That's not on the waiter, who was hustling and doing his best, but I might hesitate to come here during any popular meal time on a weekend, especially when I have dietary restrictions that necessitate some conversation with the waiter to make sure I won't get sick. Worst Pad Thai I've had in decades. Basically a small portion of noodles in sauce with the least amount of other ingredients possible. Had to pay extra for a normal amount of beansprouts. Chopped peanuts and scallion had to be hunted for, when found the scallion was thinly sliced, not 1/2 -1" pieces that are normal, no julienned carrots, and the chicken was an afterthought. The only positive about this disaster of a Thai restaurant staple was that it wasn't overly sweet. Pac Thai is boldly defending Forest Grove's long held reputation for mediocre and poor restaurants. You can't get much worse in Forest Grove, and that's saying a lot. read more

Their food is good, but a little pricey depending on what you order. I ordered the the crab fried rice, and that was $25 because it was based on the market value of the crab. Overall it was really good, and was plated nicely, which added to the overall positive dinning experience. The service here is really good, and the staff is friendly. The wait time for food is not very long. This is definitely a place i would eat at again, and would recommend this place to others. Keep up the good work! read more

The food is pretty good, curry is more like a watery soup but the flavor is good. It's just a little hole in the wall, nothing fancy at all but we strongly recommend take out only because the one time we actually dined in, we got a server who was lazy, rude and had a very bad attitude. I love Thai food. I could eat Thai food 3 meals a day and be a very happy person. Unfortunately, my one interaction with the establishment was awful. I can not complain about the quality of the food because I was never able to order. I attempted to call the listed phone number of the restaurant several times over the course of a couple of days and never got an answer. I understand they may have been very busy a least a couple of the times I called but to have no answering service and not getting any response or pick up seems a lot like you don't want to do business with people ordering over the phone. I wish I could tell you the food was great or awful but I just don't know. read more

Really delicious! First time trying this place out was excited to find a good Thai food restaurant close to us. I had the crispy chicken basil, my wife had chicken pad Thai and my daughter had the Chicken satay. My daughter loved the satay sometimes kinda picky but she finished everything. First time here and the husband and I enjoyed it very much. Comfortable seating and quiet atmosphere. It was super sunny so our waitress pulled the shades. We go a trio appetizer which I forgot to capture a photo of but it was really fresh and delicious. Then hubby and I shared the crispy basil chicken and the golden fried rice with chicken. Both were delightful- the crunch and sauce on the basil chicken was so good! The rice had a little heat from the curry and I had enough we even took some home. Will definitely come again. read more

In town to see a play and my wife gave me two options for dinner. Pac Thai was one which surprised me because she typically doesn't like anything spicier than ketchup. I love Thai cuisine so lucky me! It is not a particularly large or warm environment but we were greeted and seated quickly. Our server was Marissa and we found her friendly, personable, and attentive. There were a couple other servers that touched our table and we found them equally friendly and attentive. The menu is full of options and I had a hard time choosing. We opted to try their calamari to start and we agreed it was the best we'd ever had. My wife had the Lemongrass Chicken Pad Thai. She shared and I can tell you it was excellent. That said, I don't think I've ever had Pad Thai I didn't like. I ordered a large salad but after a couple minutes I was told they were out of lettuce. Not sure how that happens and is the only reason I didn't score this review five stars. So I settled on a bowl of green curry with shrimp and squid (additional charge) which included white rice. I asked for it to be extra hot (spicy) and it was. The seafood was plentiful. Delish. I highly recommend Pac Thai - even if you don't live right in Forest Grove. I would've given 5 stars HOWEVER their COVID protocols are lacking - pulling your mask down when you're handling the food (getting to go orders packaged up) or taking phone orders defeats the purpose of wearing them in the first place - and no they were not drinking or eating. I love Pac Thai. The service, the food and the location are all great. Food is authentic and they have a great selection on the menu. I have a few go tos Everytime I visit. Crispy Basil chicken, and ginger lovers (I add squid to the ginger lovers) as well as seafood clay pot and the mango rice (when available). You can't go wrong with any of the vegetarian style dishes either. If you like it hot and then go hotter, the Thai hot is the best but you can't be a wimp. This is your normal Thai place. It tastes great. Only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is that there are slightly tastier options if you're willing to go out to Beaverton. But in this area, it's the best around, can't go wrong. It's not the most quiet place to eat and the atmosphere isn't the best, but the servers are great and the location is convenient. I always find parking which is really nice. I actually ordered a red curry last time and asked for extra chicken. I didn't realize how massive that would be! We have been here weekly since discovering it moving from Az. Delicious crispy basil chicken, crunchy spring rolls, pumpkin curry, pineapple fried rice, chicken pad Thai, wontons, beef massaman. My main suggestive critique would be customer service and pricing- offer some lunch specials or a punch card or discount for regulars- or smaller half orders maybe- my husband and I like to order 3 or 4 items so we can have a little bit of everything. I don't think extra cilantro or substituting carrots for protein should be a charge but it is when you order online. The prices on some items are overpriced. I would also say if I am picking up my food to go- no tip should be requested. I am driving and walking in to get it. Plus, I have been here a multitude of times and they never recognize me or get my name right which is just lack of investment in customer service and appreciation. "Oh, hey Carole Anne- how are you- getting the pumpkin curry again-?" Or any recognition of the many times I have been there would be a bonus. This would give it a more unique experience for customers who are residents of Forest Grove. Lastly, it is not always consistent- the crispy basil chicken is our favorite but twice the chicken was over cooked and I think this may be due to turnover in staff as there was a help wanted sign posted at the time. Despite this- it is still one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to in the Portland and surrounding areas. Suggestion for appetizer addition would be spicy garlic edamame. Other than that, as a go- to- overwhelmingly delicious food. I highly recommend- just would like some half order or less expensive options as well, work on valuing your repeat customers and work in making it phenomenal each time read more

Came in on a Monday at around 2pm. Had their Panang curry. It was a bit watery for my taste, with an interesting assortment of veggies (green beans and bell peppers) as well as a decent amount of chicken and the rice was a little on the softer side. Overall, not the best I've had and prefer a thicker consistency with the rice. Their employees were very attentive! Service is great.
