Was actually really good and the rice came free with both dishes. I'm used to being charged if I want rice. The rice was perfectly cooked too. Loved the chicken holy basil. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. We just finished a volleyball tournament so we got Thai iced teas too (it hit the spot) and they kept the waters refilled so quick. We never had to look around for help. Love the decoration too. Especially the copper feather on the wall. Some of the best Thai food in the area. The service is always quick and the staff is super friendly + nice. I love stopping by with friends or getting takeout! There's plenty of seating in the inside. Some of my go-to dishes are the drunken noodles (chicken) and yellow curry. Everything I've (and others I'm with have) tried so far, I've liked. The spice level beyond "mild" definitely has a kick to it. My only complaint thus far has been the Pad Thai dish, the flavor is different than almost all others I've tried. Stopped in for a quick mid-day snack and went with the classics, a tofu fresh roll and Thai tea. We've had takeout from here before so we knew the food would be good, but this was our first time dining in. We ordered the Thai papaya salad, duck curry, and pad Thai shrimp, all medium spicy. We like a good amount of spice but beware that their spice levels are spicy! Next time we would get the papaya salad mild because it was definitely the spiciest of the dishes. The pad Thai had big shrimp that were cooked well, not overcooked at all. The duck curry has a lot of different fruits and veggies and a good amount of duck as well. Let's understand- the orange processed crap with those damn ridges served in many NYC take-out spots and other restaurants, is not crab. We all know that. I know that. Our daughter picked up dinner, kept it warm in her apartment for us and brought it over when we got to our hotel. Came here with my wife after church. My grandma is from Thailand so I grew up eating a lot of her home Thai cooking. This place was fantastic. The service was exceptionally friendly, the ambiance was relaxed and nice. The Pad See Ew was phenomenal as was the Thai iced tea. My wife ordered the green curry with chicken, outstanding. They have khao soi! That's all you need to know. Okay... it's all also very good. The khao soi is their "northern curry noodles" and I get them gluten free, so they substitute the noodles with vermicelli rice noodles. The cashew chicken is great. Love their pad Thais too. Besides it being one of the best-tasting places I've been to, the service is really great too. My ex and I used to go a lot and the servers recognized us as regulars and would always ask us how we were doing, etc. They genuinely care about their customers! We went here for lunch on 3/1/25 at approximately 12:30. I ordered the Cashew Chicken after reviewing the ingredients. Everything seemed okay in it for me to eat. Ate half of it there, brought the other half home when I noticed these golden yellow bean looking ingredient I've never seen before. I called to ask what it was and was told it is Gingko Bilobo Seeds. I quickly googled gingko bilobo seeds and what I read was alarming at best. These seeds are poisonous if not well cooked enough, and even when cooked properly, they have natural toxins; they are dangerous to eat if you are epileptic, on blood thinners, taking a MAO antidepressant or a SSRI or SNRI antidepressant! Also can cause miscarriage if you're pregnant! THESE ARE NOT LISTED ON THE MENU! When I called the restaurant to ask what they are, one of the workers told me that's what they are. When I asked why it wasn't listed on the menu, she said something about it being a seasonal ingredient and it's too expensive to reprint menus every time they add or delete an ingredient. That's a pretty dangerous way to do business. I am on anti epilepsy medication and on a SSRI antidepressant, so we will wait to see what happens. I picked out 6 seeds after finding this out, but I'm sure I likely ate at least that many at the restaurant without noticing it in the lowered ambiance lighting. My friend ordered some appetizers and was very happy with them. The taste of the cashew chicken was excellent, but this secret ingredient could cause them a lawsuit if someone gets poisoned by them (more than 10 eaten in a day or not being cooked correctly, or someone with a medical condition or on a medication that doesn't mix with Gingko Bilobo) and poisoning is common in Thailand so it's a real possibility, not a wild idea... BE VERY CAREFUL TO INQUIRE ABOUT ANY INGREDIENT YOU DONT FULLY RECOGNIZE!! EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK! read more

First visit last week. We ordered take-out online, it was ready before the pick-up time. The portions were good, similar to most other Thai restaurants I'd say. We wanted to do a bit of sampling so we chose pad Thai with chicken, cashew chicken, steamed veggies (with beef), and crab/cream cheese wontons. When ordering online they give the option of levels of red pepper, we chose mild and medium. The Pad with the pepper added was a bit too hot for the hubby, but mixing it with the other dishes cooled it significantly for him. The favors of the Pad and cashew were nice, although the steamed veggie with beef dish was quite bland. Not good for the addition of meat, but for the veggies it was great. The wontons were good, less cream cheese than I prefer, but they tasted great. We had steamed and brown rice...steamed was typical of course, but the brown was unique, light and fragrant.
