First of all, let me say that their food is good. We have been going here for years for their Orange Chicken and Soups. We were faithful customers during the pandemic and still were. However, last night we went there and my wife ordered the curry at spice level 2. It is a 1-5 scale. When we received it, it was too hot for her to eat. I tried it, and I like spicy food--I found it to be hot as well. We called the waitress over and let them know. They came back and said there really is no way to make it any less spicy--as they don't add spice to level 2--it starts at level 2. Then she told my wife that she shouldn't order curry again and walked away. I feel an appropriate response would have been to offer something else less spicy--or ask my wife is she would like to get something else in place of the curry. Or some other solution other than--"tough luck--that is what you ordered." In the end I shared my orange chicken--which is great--with my wife. I am going to eat the curry later, but still feel this was the wrong thing for the restaurant to do. We have spent a lot of money there over the years and now I don't feel like going back. I might give them another chance, maybe.

Sandee Thai in Silverton was divine. Drunken noodles with duck, crab fried rice and a tasty tub of punkin curry!

Came in on weekday for lunch as I was craving soup. Charming little place right in the heart of Silverton. There were only a couple tables occupied but started getting busy within minutes. I ordered the Tom Yum Soup and an order of Beef Pad Thai to go for my friend. My soup didn't take long to come and was delicious! I love that they ask what level of spice I like. Not many places do. It came just like I requested. Was a big helping and I was only able to eat half of it. Took the rest home for dinner. My friend says her Beef Pad Thai was a bit bland. I tried it and would have to agree with her so we "doctored" it up a bit with some sauces, garlic and herbs. Overall I would still recommend this place. Service was amazing.

By far the best Thai food I have ever had the the pleasure to enjoy. I promise you your taste buds will do the happy dance from first bite to the last. We enjoyed the tofu fried rice and the drunken. Already planning our next visit.

Excellent Thai food and the best way to get some vegetables in Silverton. Fresh spring rolls were SO fresh & had plenty of shrimp.

We were not disappointed. It is a small venue, clean and well maintained. The staff were hospitable and made helpful suggestions based on our flavor preferences. We ordered Tom Kha, Basil Eggplant with pork, and a ginger vegetable stirfry. We ordered all dishes with the least amount of chilies possible since my wife cannot eat them and I can add chilies from jars on the table. All the dishes were delicious, each uniquely seasoned and servings large enough to share. We ate our fill and still took home some of each. Yes, we'll be going back.

REVIEW: This was a NO-GO. So dissatisfied and disappointed in this experience! Food: I had ordered the Green Curry level 0. Had minimal flavor but/and was terribly over-watered down to meet my request of mild, hence the lack of flavor. I ordered brown rice that she forgot to bring out. 1/5 Mango Sticky Rice: It had OK flavor in the rice but mango wasn't ripe and was tough to cut. 1/5 Shrimp Pad Thai: My guest didn't enjoy it at all. 1/5 The chicken satay was OK, but my guest had to prepare - herself! - the lettuce wraps. She was served a wedge salad (the lettuce) and had to create the wrap herself. She said it was filled with salt. 1/5 Service: Oh. My. Rude. Unfriendly. Didn't smile. The language barrier was PROFOUND and it was very uncomfortable for our group. She didn't understand our questions and couldn't respond appropriately. It was horrible. Ambiance: It was clean inside and is painted purple inside. Interesting. I heard GREAT things about this place. So bummed. Eat here with caution. Hoped for better!

Walking in the doors it felt like you'd expect in a small strip mall; cluttered in the counters, open seating, Thai themed decor, and someone smiling and available to seat you. It had a bit of a chaos, meets slow paced feel. The pace is slow. You are not in and out, unless you pre order to go. The experience is slow. And seating is close enough that conversation is shared amongst all. But the vibes are positive, and the feeling was good. We knew going in our food would take a little longer than elsewhere. The server was kind, a bit nervous it seemed, but did an awesome job and made us feel welcome. The food was good, and okay, and great. The chicken fresh rolls were odd, while a good introduction to salad rolls for someone that hasn't had them before it was an odd combination for us (tofu and shrimp are preferred). The shrimp salad rolls were yummy, and on par with others. The peanut sauce was also good, not my favorite but better than anything store bought that I've tried. The pad Thai was a bit overly sweet for us, and more saucy than we've had in the past, it was good but not our top choice for pad Thai. The Yellow curry and Duck Curry were the stars of our orders, both curries were on par with elsewhere but the proteins shined, especially the duck! We finished off with some Mango Sticky Rice with Coconut Milk and all of us loved it, one of our party had it for the first time and was surprised (in a good way) of the delicious combination.
