Lovely family owned place with excellent service and excellent food!!! Every time I come it's so good!!

My family and I stopped in for a late lunch around 2:20 PM. I didn't realize they closed at 3:00 PM, and I completely understand if a restaurant needs to stop seating customers close to closing time. What disappointed me was the customer service. When we first walked in, we didn't even see an employee because she was standing behind the counter out of sight. She had purple and black hair and was wearing a black apron. We had to walk over to her and let her know we wanted to order. From the very beginning, it felt like she wanted us to order our food to go instead of dining in. There were still customers eating in the restaurant when we arrived, and another group that came in after us was able to get drinks and sit down to eat. Meanwhile, we felt unwelcome and ended up ordering our food to go because of her attitude and the way she interacted with us. I have no issue with the restaurant's closing time. My issue is with the inconsistency and the poor customer service. She was very short with us, came across as hostile, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience. It left a negative impression on our visit, and I was very disappointed with the service we received. read more

Thai Dish is my go-to for Thai food in Canby. I used to be able to eat there more often when I lived closer but when I can, I stop in for some salad rolls and a Thai iced coffee with coconut milk. Service is always with a big smile, food is always delivered in a reasonable time, and the restaurant is always clean and neat (including the restrooms). The salad rolls are big and filling - this time I got the tofu but the shrimp version are tasty as well. Everything I've ever had on their menu has been delicious! read more

Ordered pot stickers (6) and Ginger chicken stir fry. Service was prompt and attentive, with seven booths filled with people. Always a good sign when busy for lunch and there were several take out's as well. Your typical Thai decor, clean and cheery looking. The food was as to be expected, got the medium spice and it was just what I was hoping for. Will definitely come here again. read more

Thai Dish is my son and my favorite Thai spot so far. We try as many as possible, and this is our go to. I have tried 3/4 of the menu and everything is amazing, freshly put together, and tasty! The staff is always extremely friendly, patient, helpful, and willing to chat and see how the day is going. They answer questions, make adjustments, and will correct mistakes (which have been few and far between). Take out service, and dine in have been wonderful! Favorite Dishes: Beef Pad Thai, Duck Curry, Orange Chicken, Salad Rolls, Tom Kha, and Yum Yai... and everything The location is chill, quiet, and comfy casual! No black tie, no judgement... We met friends here for dinner last Saturday and it was just as wonderful as it's been in the past. The food was attractively presented and was delicious, as always. The lady who took our orders was friendly and helpful and remembered that I'd asked for extra lime for my pad thai as well as chopsticks. Hubby had the teriyaki chicken and loved it. Not my favorite spot nearby. The pad Thai was dry and the salad rolls were not very fresh. Service was ok.

Hadn't been in here in 15 years and shouldn't have waited that long. Salad rolls were fresh and delicious, chicken satay was moist and grilled nicely, and curry was classic. Staff were working very hard during prime dinner time. read more

We are starting to eat here pretty regularly because the food is sooo good! It is fresh (those salad rolls with peanut sauce are amazing) and obviously just made. The service is great and a simple ask gets it GF if needed which some of my friends do so easy to meet there without issue. My mom recommended this place for their coconut curry so me and my husband stopped in today for lunch. We both ordered the yellow curry, hot with beef and tofu! Let me tell you it was absolutely delicious and flavorful! The pad thai was also yummy! We got it spicy but you can still taste a bit of sweetness form it! Maybe don't assume people who paid online for their takeout order (instead of signing a receipt in front of you) is JUST a DoorDash or UberEats driver? I didn't mind waiting past the time indicated for my order, but when it came out, I didn't even get a Thank You, which only takes 2 seconds even if your restaurant was very busy at the time. Your food is great, but I probably won't be back since my $60 order didn't get me a "Thank You...see you again soon!" It made me feel sad to be treated so differently than when we normally sit down for lunch or dinner there. read more

This is our favorite Restaurant in Canby, and we've had many of their dishes over the years. The pad Thai is wonderful as are the curries, wings, and stir fried dishes. Good, consistent service. Highly recommend. The wings are a new item for me--they're served hot and crisp with a cool base of greens and a sweet sauce. These little treasures add about 20 minutes to your order but are well worth the wait. Feeling under the weather? My friends and I believe the wonton soup has magical healing power. My wife and I went in for the first time last week, we just moved to Canby and are trying out all of the restaurants. We were both surprised at how good the food was at Thai dish. The food here was prepared quickly and was made of fresh ingredients. Service was pretty good and water glasses never empty. That being said, a Thai restaurant that offers teriyaki and tempura is not truly a Thai restaurant in my book. My friend's husband ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer and it looked like regular breaded butterfly shrimp. The good thing was there were about 8-10 shrimp on the plate. My dish, the spicy green beans and shrimp was tasty, but contained only 5 small shrimp total. Luckily I was more in the mood for the green beans. My friend ordered the cashew nut shrimp and was pleased. All in all a decent experience, however when it came time to pay the bill it took forever for the owner/server to come by with the check. Note: they don't accept Discover or AmEx at this time. I'd come back and try other dishes, but it wouldn't be my first stop in town. read more
