Every new thing I try here is phenomenal. I absolutely loved the chicken katsu I got this time. It was super fresh and hot, the short grain rice was cooked just right, and the marinated egg was delicious. The interior is always super clean, and they always have nice soft music playing that makes me feel like I'm a background character in a CDrama.

I've been here several times for their yummy ramen and boba drinks. We couldn't resist the claw arcade, so we dropped a few coins and had a blast!

I stumbled upon Dough Valley while hanging out in Oregon City recently, and decided to try a "new to me" ramen place! I was delighted to find they not only have ramen dishes, but dumplings and dim sum-style fare as well. My husband and I ordered a few items to share. The restaurant is very modern, bright and clean, and has an interesting layout with lots of windows. At nighttime, the lights were a little too bright for my liking, but that's something that can be modified if enough people mention it. The staff were really friendly and would probably be open to customer requests. Dough Valley seems very popular. While I was there on a Tuesday night, I saw at least a dozen food delivery drivers come to pick up orders, plus a handful of people dining in like me. The prices are reasonable, and the dim sum dishes taste great. I was a little disappointed with my Tonkatsu ramen as it was incredibly salty... probably the saltiest dish I've ever consumed in my life. The noodles were overdone, and the dish lacked any visual appeal. I'm of the opinion that everyone has off-days once in a while, and I've found that giving restaurants a second chance is always best. I've been delighted to find positive experiences upon a second visit many times in the past. So, here's to second chances! We'll see how it goes next time.

I checked this place out on a whim and was not disappointed. The food is delicious. I will definitely be coming back. The spicy miso ramen was incredible. They are generous with the portion. The sesame balls are crazy good too. They have a sweetness level choice for the boba drinks which was really great. I would recommend the 25% sweetness if you just want it mildly sweet. The only bummer is that they had the dining area temperature pretty high so we ordered ours to go. It was a sunny warm day so we took our feast to a nearby park.

My fiancé and I have been coming here the past few weekends especially because it has been cold and we are wanting something nice and warm. We absolutely love this place, our ramen and gyoza are always absolutely amazing the pork is fall apart tender we always come on empty stomachs because the portions are big. The workers are very nice and each time we have come it's been really quiet which makes it more cozy. We enjoy playing in the arcade and i'm craving ramen again while writing this review lol. we will be back soon :)

We went here last night as I learned about their new claw machine area. I'm a huge claw machine fan (have one at home even) and figured we'd also sit for a bite to eat after. The claw machines were great! Set fairly, well stocked, fair prices, and the prize selections are awesome. For food we ordered edamame, orange chicken with rice, and a taro milk tea. The orange chicken was delicious, the edamame was yummy with a concoction of sauces from the table. The milk tea was just okay in my opinion. Previously the dim sum dishes I ordered to-go from here were not great, but this experience turned around my opinion on Dough Valley. I'll definitely come back.

Pork ramen. We ordered a LOT of food for two people. It was all food. Good service.

We ordered a lot of food and it was served hot and quickly. Not a fan of all of dim sum but that's just me. The ramen was great and so were the rice dishes and tempura shrimp.

The food was really good! My husband got the spicy miso ramen and I got the chicken shoyu ramen. The portions were huge. I got extra veggies for my ramen and it was so worth it. The chicken shoyu ramen was a tad bit salty for my taste buds so next time I'll see if I can do the less sodium option. We also tried the shrimp and pork soup dumplings. Both were very tasty. Cute little spot for a date night! We will be back :)

Food was incredibly bland, the only thing that tasted good was the soup dumplings. It tasted obvious that everything was frozen and it ruined the texture of the dough on most of the dumplings. Almost no flavor besides the chili oil and soy sauce provided, and picking up the dumplings caused them to fall apart because they were stuck to the paper. The shrimp and pork shumai tasted pre packaged with weird pieces of unchewable tendon. The sticky chicken rice was awful, bit into it and the flavor reminded me of chef boyardee canned beef sauce. Not sure what happened there: Prices are not bad and the service was okay but overall not even close to genuine dim sum with very limited selection. I haven't tried the ramen so I have no opinion on that but from the experience today I most likely wouldn't come back or recommend.

I finally got the chance to visit this new restaurant. On entering I was asked if I wanted to eat in. The menu is interesting and a somewhat new experience. I chose the fried milk bun, and sesame balls as seen in the picture. My server graciously answered my questions. The fries buns taste like a fried donut with a sweetened condensed milk type dip. Nothing special about the sesame balls and pork buns. The pork bun is steamed and hot. Using fingers to eat with no utensils offered I assume this is the normal way to eat them. The pork filling had great flavor. I hope to try more at another time. Oregon City needs a new food experience. There is a variety for everyone to share. The take away boxes are cute and close efficiently. I loved them

I've been here before and was quite happy with it. It seems like it has gone downhill now everything seems processed or from a freezer. Nothing was fresh. The waiter was very nice but this is one of those places where you do 90% of the customer service yourself they give you a tablet you put in your own order and that's kind of the last time you see them, but he was very friendly and did comeback to refresh our waters say I probably won't be back to this place and that sucks because it's a cute little place and I did like it the first couple of times we went

We ordered a variety of dishes including Cantonese beef chow fun, shrimp green beans, fish maw soup, and some stewed beef. The beef chow fun was a bit too dry in my option, there are definitely better options in Portland for this dish. However, the green beans were stir fried perfectly and were super crispy. I absolutely love a good fish maw soup, and this one was generous in the ingredients! The medium was more than enough for multiple bowls for the three of us. Finally, my favorite, the stewed beef, or ngau zap. It came still bubbling and hot, but the flavors hit the spot. The beef was tender and it paired really well with rice. Can't say much about their dim sum, since it has been quite a while since I've had it, but I'll be back soon to try it!

We arrived at 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning and the restaurant was about 2/3rds full. By 11 a.m. it's full and you will need to put your name on the wait list. Service is your usual...loud, kind of rude but not overtly great service but that's to be expected. Most of the ladies spoke Cantonese and Toisan. When you're ready to pay, you have to take your check to the counter and pay there. Food wise, it's legit. It doesn't have the same level of options that I'm accustomed (Los Angeles/Monterey Park) to but their staple dishes like ha how, siu mai, fung jow, dahn taht, hom sui gok were pretty good. But the food from the carts came out hot and fresh. If I'm back in the area again and need to satisfy my dim sum craving, I'd definitely come back.

What's the point of me providing my name and phone number in the order if you also must see my actual order on my phone? There wasn't even any customers in the restaurant while I was there picking up my order and there were only a few orders on the bench. I offered my name and that I was there for pick up, and I was happy to wait there patiently but this lady demanded to see the order on my phone because she couldn't find any order under my name. I must've closed the paid for order window on my phone on accident so I offered her my license to show her my name, but she got upset, huffed, and said "How are we supposed to give you your order if you don't show us what you ordered?" I did know what I ordered though because it was only 2 things, but she never asked me what I ordered or any other identifying information. Anyways, I ended up quickly finding my own order and she tried arguing that the order didn't say my name (I think she just couldn't read it cause it looks like their ink was running out on their order printer, but I was able to make out my own name and phone number on the order). I finally got my order though after I recited my phone number (which was on the order printout right in front of me so I could've lied anyways if that's what she was actually concerned about, but logic was thrown out the window from the very beginning). We were a bit surprised at the emptiness of the dining area. Early evenings are normally bustling with dine-in customers, and the phone constantly ringing for take-out. Besides us, there was only one other table occupied. The menu looked the same, but when we ordered some old time family favorites, they each were disappointing. Celery dominated the veggie dish, (Buddhist Delight) with no detectable asian spices and scant traces of the other veggies promised. The cashew chicken was more skin than meat, and minimal cashews. I don't know for certain, but I suspect the place has changed ownership, or management or both. If that's the case, it's a shame because the place really was a neighborhood gem for many years. We will likely give it another shot, but with so many fantastic Asian restaurants on the SE side, we won't be back for a spell.
