Flower mural on the wall
Kathy M.

We came over for Saturday dinner and tried this place out. It is located at the Oak Grove Shopping center. Lots of parking. Came in the restaurant and you see a wide array of lanterns hanging from the ceiling. They have a pretty mural on the left hand side of the wall and flowers on the other side. There is a condiments cart right by the cash register where you can scoop your sauces into take out containers. Or grab your own containers to take food home. We both ordered the Pho Special with egg rolls and a peach tea. Egg rolls and peach tea cane right away. The peach tea has real peaches mixed into it. Quite tasty and good. Usually you see tea like tea. But peach tea with real peaches in the tea is a major plus. The Pho special came and it was delicious. Enough good ingredients in the hot soup and so good that I ate it quickly. This restaurant does a like of take outs because we saw more than a few customers pick up orders. We will definitely come by again and tried their other entrees.

Best Pho in portland!!! Ingredients are always fresh and broth is always flavorful. Best thing on a rainy day.

Sadly this place was disappointing. As an individual who loves BBH and Pho Dac Biet, this establishment isn't up to par compare to other Pho restaurants in the Portland metro area. The spicy beef noodle soup only had a few slices of beef and a beef rib. There were no other ingredients included such as pork hock, pork cured meat or pork blood. The flavor of the broth was mediocre. As goes with the pho special. The staff and service was attentive. They checked in on us and would ask if we would like water refills. The interior is modern and decorated nicely. Though I will not be returning.

AMAZING! We love this place! We look for new places for pho regularly but what caught our eye here was that they offer bahn mi sandwiches. We love pho but bahn mi is our absolute fav and it's hard to find a good one. Look no further! This is the bahn mi meca! We went all out and order both a beef and chicken pho PLUS a pork and a chicken bahn mi sandwiches. Everything was DELICIOUS! The pho broth was hot and flavorful. The veggies, condiment plate and the meats were all prepared perfectly. SO good! They have a "seasoning" station that you can get oils and sauces to add into your bowl to your taste. The bahn mis were exactly what we were looking for. Soft bread with a crunchy outter crust, delicious pickled veggies and flavorful meats. The restaurant is nicely decorated and appears clean and well kept. The staff were all very friendly, fast and attentive. We were greeted when we entered and we were checked on a few times through our meal. We'll definitely be back regularly. We have tons more to try on the menu.

The bun bo hue really hit the spot for me. The beef rib was tender and juicy. The broth was spicy and flavorful. The place is decorated with Vietnamese flair and the staff was amazing.

A good pho spot in the area. The place is nicely decorated. The staff was very nice and quick with our orders. My pho broth was very clean and clear and the pho noodles were thin and good. I'd prefer a little more flavor in the broth. My partner liked her BBH dish.

Chicken Pho. Perfect because it's so cold!

We ordered Pho with thin cut rib-eye steak and Spring Rolls. In addition I ordered the Vietnamese Hot Milk Coffee. The spring rolls came with a delicious peanut dipping sauce. According to the menu, they come with shrimp, pork, salad, beansprouts & basil. Add a little Sriracha Sauce and you're in heaven. Next came the Pho. We got the Pho 360 that came with Thin Sliced Eye-Round Steak. It was good but the meat was a little tough and the broth was lacking the flavor I expect with pho Would I eat here again? Yes, I would.

Nami Sushi & Ramen - Spider

Nami Sushi & Ramen

This restaurant is a gem! If you like good sushi and great vibes, this is the place to go…read more I went there with my family, and it was a hit with everyone. And most importantly, the sushi was fresh and delicious. The presentation was on point, and we all agreed that it tasted even better than some high-end sushi restaurants we've been to (we eat sushi at least once a week and have tried many different places). The restaurant itself is so cool and interesting. If you have young kids or teenagers, they will love it, but honestly, I'm an adult and I loved it too. It is connected to a tea shop on one side, which we also tried. The Thai iced tea with boba was so good! And on the other side, it connects to a fun claw machine/gaming area with great lighting and an upbeat vibe. The restaurant made me feel like I was in Japan. There is an additional conveyor belt above the regular one, with a miniature boat that delivers water and orders directly to the booths. Another thing that we thought was very helpful was that the sushi on the belt had signs with the name and ingredients. I hadn't seen that anywhere else before. I am so excited about this place and love the concept. We will definitely be coming back many times. I only wish it was closer to my house!

We drove 45 minutes from Washington to come here for my sons birthday dinner…read more I called ahead and asked if I could make a reservation since I had 10 people. They said no. When I got there we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table which wasn't too long. Casual ambiance. Everyone was friendly and the service was fast. As soon as you sit down waters and soy sauce comes out on a bullet train tray. Kids loved that. The sushi was good and fresh and the ramen was very flavorful. Food was 9/10. ****This part was the only thing that I didn't like. The claw machines. After we spent $$$ eating sushi, I spent another $$$ on quarters. I had 7 kids. Each kid got a roll of $10 quarters. You can use your card to buy rolls of quarters. That was very helpful. So, now Ive spent A LOT of money. All the kids were able to get one thing from the claw machines. These are the ones that swing and jerk, so as soon as you get something it jerks and falls off. I go to speak to one of the workers so she can readjust the stuffed animals. She comes back, watches me play two more times costing me 8 more quarters worth and still nothing. Finally, I say, I've just spent $$$$ here and it would be nice if you could help my son win. She says "good luck" and walks away. I then ask to speak to someone else, she says she will get them. She comes back with the stuffed animal and says here you go. I wasn't asking for a giant stuffed animal. I played that exact machine $9 worth of quarters. Each time it barely grabbed it and would slip. It was completely ripping people off. In the end it worked out. We then went to the other side and got 6 boba drinks. Overall it's a great spot. Definitely room for improvement especially with the claw machines. Someone needs to be in there at all times readjusting the prizes. That how they do it in Asia. ***If you spend $80 you get a free token for a surprise ball in the front . If you want families and customers to come back, having them win a tiny stuffed animal or keychain would last a lifetime of happy memories for kids. Make sure the claw machines are stocked and ready. Have some that are guaranteed winners. Some that are candy, chips or even gift cards to get sushi or boba! We enjoyed our time, meals and boba. I would recommend you check them out!

Likely not visiting this location again... I was driving my…read moreson home from surgery and needed to grab food for the family after being at the hospital all morning. As I entered, the guy working the register apologized for being on his phone and put it away to help me. Very nice. I placed my order and he was very kind & patient. The 3 ladies standing in the prep kitchen continued with their very loud, all Spanish conversation, not really appearing to move to prepare any food (including for the two customers who entered after me). I don't care that it was Spanish, just that their conversation seemed to supercede the need to do their job in that moment... So, I took my waters & treats out to my family & returned for the entrees I ordered. As I re-entered, one customer left with an order, another sat at a table waiting for his order, and a to-go order remained on the counter. While I was waiting, the guy walked over & offered me the to-go order on the counter "if I wanted it because the customer canceled their order after the food was made and it would just have to be thrown out, unless someone wanted to take it." He did warn me that it had been sitting out for about 40 min so if I agreed to take it I should heat it well to be on the safe side. So I said sure. One of the ladies from the chatting trio had starting preparing some food, finished the order of the gentleman who ordered after me & then continued with my order. In the meantime, a manager, or assistant manager appeared from the back and was informed that I would be taking the abandoned to-go order. They approached and said, "are you sure? It's been out for a while." I inquired about how long, and they said over two hours. AT THAT POINT, WHY IS IT STILL SITTING ON THE COUNTER AND BEING OFFERED TO CUSTOMERS?! SO NOT SAFE! So I declined that food & just waited for my order, which was taking a long time. When my third & final entree was completed, the guy at the register pointed out that they used the wrong kind of chicken & slid it back to a woman in the prep area. However, I had already been waiting too long & said just let me take it as is. She hesitated while her friend was still chatting away at her so I busted out my fluent Spanish to say, I don't have time to wait for you to fix the mistake because you were too busy chatting with your friends. The guy was apologizing but I told him he didn't have to apologize since he wasn't the one that messed up the order. Maybe that (assistant?) manager needed to spend less time in the back and more time clearing counters of old food and redirecting employees.

First of all, I discovered they no longer make my go-to, the penne Rosa. Why. Why would you take away that delicious dish? I got the roasted garlic tortellini instead and it was meh. I love garlic, but it was so overpowering in that dish. Then they gave me a house salad rather than the Caesar I asked for. But the house salad was the highlight of the meal so wasn't super upset about that one. Lastly, and most disappointing.. the Rice Krispie. It was so stale and it tasted like the plastic that it had been wrapped in for probably 3+ days. Legit a plastic flavored stale Rice Krispie. Noodles, what are you doing?? Get it together.

Came in on weekend for lunch and it was definitely a 40 min wait, but then literally no one on a Tuesday night for dinner. Somehow, the time for the food to come out was about the same. You get a few that come out quick, then a few that took long enough for me to notice it, and then always a few where you wonder if they forgot your dish. Even when there was no one else in the restaurant. The XLB and pot stickers are all super solid, not quite Ding Tai Fung quality, but at these prices and wait times they are great. Qbao's are delicious. I think the noodles are honestly slept on. They all have great flavor, super bouncy noodles, and honestly come in a size that you can easily finish on your own or still big enough to split in case you wanted to try another flavor. I also think the pork wonton's with chili sauce are also super slept on, the sauce is oddly sweet, but honestly I love that. Service here can be hit or miss. They don't really do a each table gets a specific server system, at least that hasn't been my experience. You'll get some food runners, and you can usually just flag anyone down to get what you need. But it does mean things can slip through the cracks if you don't have one person keeping an eye on the list of food ordered for the table or you have multiple servers checking in on you to see if you got all your food even though you just told the server 3 min ago you were still missing something. All in all, this place is phenomenal and approachable. I will be back, maybe not on the weekends though, it's not quite worth all that.

But here we are Milwaukie Station Food Carts Pod & Beer Garden is... kind of cute. There, I said it. Tucked right next to the TriMet station, it sits in this neat little corner that feels clean, organized, and surprisingly polished for a transit-side stop. What immediately stands out is the lineup. Spots like Good & Evil Wrap Company (which, let me tell you, looks dangerously good), Puddletown Bagels, Kappany, and a handful of others give you a solid variety from Greek-inspired eats to bagels to Chinese food. Hoppy's Chinese was open and doing its thing, and I caught myself eyeing a Cali fruit smoothie that looked like it could save a hot afternoon. That said... a noticeable chunk of carts were closed, and it does take a little wind out of the sails when you're scanning options and hitting a few "nope, not today" moments. Now, location? Absolute win. Being right off the station makes this place a no-brainer if you're hopping on or off transit, or just cruising through Main Street. It feels like a built-in pit stop for commuters quick, convenient, and reliable when everything's open. The area itself is clean, with some small trees and a layout that feels intentional, not slapped together. Definitely not some run-down corner--this place is well-kept. But let's talk reality: it's small. And when the heat rolls in, this place turns into a bit of a sweat box. There are covered areas, sure, but not enough to really beat the sun when it's coming down hard. It's the kind of spot where you find yourself thinking, "Alright, I'm gonna grab my food... and retreat to the car like it's a survival mission." All things considered, I'd land this somewhere between a 3 and 4 stars. Cleanliness, location, and overall vibe? Easy 5. But the size, the number of closed carts, and the heat factor hold it back a bit. Still, I'll be back if for no other reason than to finally get my hands on that Good & Evil wrap that's been calling my name.
