I needed a quick lunch spot with my Son while I was waiting for my puppy at the Newberg Vet clinic. I looked this place up on Yelp. It was pretty easy to find, and I was happy to see they were open considering there are a lot of complaints their hours are messed up. We were here fairly early so not too many trucks were open, and to be honest it kind of looked like this truck was closed. Not sure what they can do to make it look open? Maybe put up a collapsible daily reader in front with specials? That might help. I am a picky Thai food junky. I have several dishes I love. I was craving kee mow. My son wanted spicy fried rice, which he gets from other Thai spots in Eugene. The man taking the order seemed a bit confused, and pointed at a few items on the menu. My Son tried explaining what was in it. We both had the Thai iced tea. I thought it was okay, my son wasn't a fan. My Son wasn't too impressed with his dish... needless to say he didn't eat much of it. Mine was just an average. If I was in a pinch, and up here I would eat it. I guess we are really spoiled in Eugene for Thai food carts, or Thai food. My kee mow was a little on the fishy oil tasting, but not bad enough to complain. Anymore, and it would have ruined it. Flavorful noodles and sauce with crisp fresh broccoli and tender chicken. The 2 vegetable rolls were in a rice wrapper with clear noodles, lettuce, carrots, and a piece of grilled tofu. Everything was crisp and fresh with the MOST DELICIOUS peanut dipping sauce I've ever had. Quick and friendly service. Prices very reasonable. Great stop on way to Lincoln City. Yay! Good Thai food near me! As soon as I knew this place existed, I was eager to try it. I read on their Facebook page that they were open until 8 PM. I arrived at about 7:25 only to learn that they close at 7:30 and were also out of chicken, pork, and beef for the day. Nevertheless, the order taker was pleasant and accommodating. I decided to go with shrimp pad see ew and the nice chef was happy to make it for me. I was not charged the usual upcharge for shrimp either. My food was absolutely delicious, seasoned impeccably. The noodles were soft but not mushy, the shrimp was reasonably abundant and nicely grilled, and the broccoli was tender crisp. The dish had a delightful smokiness to it and was plentiful in quantity. Anytime my wife wants to get Thai I will happily go with her if its at this food truck. I loved the pad thai, drunken noodles, and even the fried shrimp appetizers. I didn't wait too long for any of my food either. Not a lot of space to sit outside for now. Home made to order Thai food. We are Vegan and the cook was able to leave out the oyster sauce on our order. My husband had mixed vegetables and tofu. It didn't have any visible sauce on it however. We added his Ian sauce at home. I had green curry high was tasty but needed more veggies on both dishes. I liked the option for brown rice! I ordered yellow curry with chicken and a Thai iced tea. I really enjoyed the curry-the menu said it was mild, and I was pleasantly surprised with a bit more spice than expected. I ordered it gluten free and had no issues. I also really enjoyed the tea. I felt the proportions of tea to coconut milk was just right and better than other places I've ordered it! When I ordered, I was told the wait would be about 20 minutes. I think it ended up being around 15 minutes, and it was a pleasant surprise! I was a bit disappointed on Saturday, because I showed up during their 11am-2pm lunch window and they were closed. I am SO glad they were open today! Their pad ke mao is amazing, and so is all of their curry, and I HIGHLY recommend trying their Khao Soi if it is still on special (Northern Thailand region; tastes like a very flavorful curry sauce that comes with lots of fresh veggies, crunchies, and fresh noodles. The Pad Kee Mow had a fantastic blend of flavor and heat for a great food experience. Food portion was spot on. Enough to fill you up comfortably without being over the top. I would gladly put this dish up against any Pad Kee Mow in Portland or other big cities with a strong Thai scene. I happened to walk up when the guy was chopping fresh vegetables and cooking someone else's dish. The food truck was releasing great smells into the food cart area. Their service was also excellent and well balanced. Super nice guy and fairly quick. I think my order was ready in 10 minutes or so. Definitely worth it. Really good Thai food, fair prices, and big portions. While it's definitely a step up from Newberg's other Thai option, it wasn't anything extra special. Our potsticker filming was delicious, but the wrapper was a little gummy and didn't have a nice crisp bottom. My pad Thai was definitely yummy, but could have used a little extra sauce. They definitely lost points because they charge an extra $2 two split your proteins. Every other Thai restaurant I've gone to is willing to give me both shrimp and chicken for the price of the more expensive protein (shrimp). This place wanted to charge the shrimp price, plus an extra $2. So, that was disappointing. Overall, good food, super reasonable prices. I'll probably go back, but I'm not in a huge hurry. read more

Must try food truck! The owner made our food fresh, quickly, and even gave us a free appetizer. The chef is an experienced thai cook. My husband previously said he didn't like thai food, but changed his mind after trying this place. The menu is excellent (all of my favorites)! I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. The price was also very fair. We all enjoyed the food very much and I normally give 5 stars when 100% satisfied. The reason for the 3 stars is for 2 reasons. The young gal you have taking the orders was not very friendly. Customer service is EVERYTHING! I have ran my own business and I know how important it is. Secondly, I would highly suggest not using faucet water when cooking your food. I can taste the metal in your water source and it really affects the taste of your food. Came here for the first time today. Wow absolutely delicious. I got here about 45 min before they were closing, I ended up ordering the red curry with chicken. It took about 1t minutes for it to be ready but it was definitely worth the wait. It was super hot still and comes separate from the rice they give you, which is a good portion. The red curry was super flavorful and came with nice portions of veggies, and chicken. It had a nice spice to it as well. Definitely will be coming back and trying everything on the menu read more

We had been waiting to try this place since it opened. On Friday we showed up at 7 pm with another couple. They had a decent sized menu seeing as they are a food cart with one chef! I ordered chicken yellow curry, my wife ordered pineapple fried rice and the other couple ordered another type of curry and sweet and sour something. We also order 3 thai ice teas among the 4 of us. Our food was ready in 15 minutes which isn't long as all. We also got our drinks at the same time as our food. The ice tea was truly amazing and the lady even refilled them for us. I think this was because she was closing and she had a bunch left over but still she didn't have to. The yellow curry I had was amazing. The spices were perfect and the amount of potatoes, onions and carrot vs chicken seemed perfect. I also got to try some of my wife's pineapple fried rice and it was probably the best I have tasted. It was like melt in your mouth amazing. Our two meals, and two drinks cost us a little over $20 which is reasonable. We will be back. read more
