Omar's Mediterranean Grill - Lamb gyros with lettuce cucumbers, tomatoes, feta and the most incredible sauce. (without onion)

Plenty of parking, menu is posted outside, and the gentleman running it is very kind. If you're looking for well marinated lamb gyros, this is the place to go! And the rice is awesome!

SCW and I and I stopped into Omar's Mediterranean Grill while touring wine country. The food truck…read morehas lots of parking spaces around and the menu is posted outside. We were warmly greeted when we arrived. The menu is a little confusing for vegetarians, but we figured it out. Basically you can pick whatever is on the menu and choose what protein you want on it. We really wanted falafel however it's no longer available. They use a pea protein instead. Minus a star here as I think the pea protein while tasty, really changes the dishes we had. I had a shawarma wrap, SCW a gyro and we also got an order of hummus which came with pita. The food itself was good. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The tomatoes stood out for me as better than usual. The pea protein was tasty but added a different flavor profile than I was really looking for. When you want falafel it just doesn't taste the same. The hummus was good as was the pita bread. The service was great. I enjoyed the meal but I would not seek it out again simply because of the pea protein option. Of course it's great they offer a meat substitute but it wasn't something I would seek out for Mediterranean food.

They were out of oysters but Justin gave me a sample of the poke and I was sold. Hook, line, and sinker. And I'm a Hawaiian poke snob. We've been back twice and we'll be back many more times. The food was super fresh and super tasty. Highly the orders, fish and chips, fish fritters, and poke. Absolutely ! And I Leveled up with a beer!

After asking for a sample of the clam chowder which he should have offered after I asked how thin of a consistency it was. Didn't ask if my order was to-go, so he was miffed when I asked him to put it on a container. The Tidal Boar'd oysters were so salty, they were almost inedible. I only ate them , because they were $4 each. They were beautiful, but akin to a salt lick. I don't know if that was the trout roe, or what. Needed way less salt, more acidity, and the heat wasn't there at all. Visual stunning, but horrendously salty. The 3 pc rockfish was pretty good. Clean, , fresh, and flakey. Seasoned well. Good fries, too. The clam chowder was different. Potatoes cooked through, full of flavor. All that for $42+tip. Might be back, if the server from yesterday isn't there. Might not be back at all, too many places to get the same thing with way better service. Never informed we ordering that I wouldn't be able to take the oysters to go. Don't know if that's posted. Good fish, indifferent service. Nary a thank you , whatsoever. Sucky service.

We got their chicken t'sami and their lingcod fish n' chips, which went well with their sweet tea that we ordered. My boyfriend got the huckleberry sweet tea which had a sour and sweetness to it, and I got a regular sweet tea which had this really floral fragrance to it and the sweetness was just right. The fish n' chips were really good, the batter around the fish was golden and crispy, the fish was flaky and soft. So good that my boyfriend ate it while it was piping hot! The fries were perfect and crispy. The owner was so nice and brought out an aioli that tasted so good with the fries (reminded me of the animal sauce from In N' Out). The chicken t'sami was also really good, the chicken was juicy and crispy, and paired well with the pickles and slaw. The ciabatta bread was soft and everything felt so fresh. I would totally get the t'sami again. My boyfriend decided to order their clam chowder as well since that's what everyone else was raving about as well. The clam chowder did not disappoint. It was homey and perfect! We were so full and happy with our visit! They have come a long way, and we will definitely visit again

I loved the chicken and waffle for late breakfast. The chicken was a huge half breast size over a freshly baked waffle with bacon butter. All fresh and perfectly cooked. Did you know they serve Left Coast Coffee? Yep. Best ever. Stop by - this place is going to be very popular. Plenty of parking and easy access.
