On the evening of my visit, the lobby was closed, so I entered the drive-thru to pick up three DoorDash orders. When I reached the speaker, I clearly stated that I was there to pick up three separate orders. The employee informed me that they could only release two orders per vehicle and instructed me to go through the drive-thru again to retrieve the third order. Although this policy was inconvenient--especially given that the drive-thru line was very busy--I complied without argument. After receiving the first two orders, I re-entered the long drive-thru line as directed. Because the employee at the window specifically told me to "come back to the window" for the third order, I did not stop again at the speaker and instead proceeded directly to the window. When I arrived at the window, I was then told that since I had not stopped at the speaker, I would need to go back around yet again and stop at the speaker before they could hand me the third order. This was contradictory to the instructions I had previously been given. What made this situation especially unacceptable was the behavior of the staff. Throughout the interaction, employees were laughing and mocking me while I was simply trying to do my job. As a DoorDash driver, I rely on restaurants to communicate clearly and treat drivers with professionalism and respect. Instead, I was treated dismissively and made to feel embarrassed for following the instructions that were given to me. This situation caused unnecessary delays, impacted my delivery times, and ultimately affected my ability to provide good service to customers. Policies--if they exist regarding order limits per vehicle--should be clearly communicated and applied consistently. Additionally, employees should never mock or laugh at someone who is simply following directions and attempting to do their job. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed and that staff receive proper training regarding professional conduct and consistent communication with delivery drivers. DoorDash drivers represent paying customers, and we deserve to be treated with respect.

We used my girlfriend's phone/app not mine. When I arrived for pick up I waited in line and then told the guy at the register I had an order for pick up and told him my girlfriends name he pulled the order right up and said would be a few minutes. I then sat down and waited exactly 19 minutes and they called her name, I went up to get the order and a lady not the guy who I spoke to at first that takes orders confirmed my girlfriends name and she said ok I need to see your order on your app. I said my girlfriend's name is home with the kids and she did the order she said she needs to see it first to give me our order. She turned around and walked away without saying anything else. I said out loud since no one was there speaking to me any longer that we will cancel the order and I left and we went somewhere else. What an incredible waste of time and terrible experience. I couldn't be paid to eat there again. If I could give zero stars I would.

Another Fabulous Breakfast at The Diner in McMinnville…read moreRating: We had another wonderful breakfast at The Diner in McMinnville. Our party of 4.5 was lucky to snag a spot on a typically busy Saturday morning; we must have hit the "sweet spot" because we arrived just before the line formed. A typical wait is 20-30 minutes for a table on weekends, but the food and service make it well worth it. We were greeted and seated quickly, and I really appreciated being offered a choice of seating. We opted for a booth, which worked perfectly for our little one in a booster seat. What made the visit truly special was the owner playing peek-a-boo with my grandson--such a sweet, personal touch that shows how much they care about their guests! The Diner is well-known for its boozy breakfast options. Our table enjoyed a Bloody Mary, Boozy Mimosas, and a Tequila Sunrise. All the drinks arrived quickly and were enjoyed tremendously. For the main course, we ordered: Breakfast Sandwich: Served on a soft, fluffy muffin with bacon and a perfectly cooked egg. Pork Chili Verde (Special): Served over cheddar grits with fresh salsa, crème fraîche, and crispy tortilla chips. Absolutely INCREDIBLE! Chicken Fried Steak: A family favorite that resulted in a "clean plate" as usual. Crispy Chicken Club Sandwich: Another lovely, solid meal. Another fantastic visit with great food and even better service. We will definitely be back!

Holy moly. The charms of a country cafe combined with the most warm and welcoming (correction:…read morenicest of all time) staff. They were flush with customers even on a Monday, but with some patience you will be seated and served with the most delicious food. You won't even mind the calories (or at least I didn't), especially after you wash it down with some fresh squeezed juice. Must gets: -Caramelized banana pancake (half portion = 1 huge pancake) -They also really know how to do a darn good hashbrown. -And for bread? That cornmeal molasses toast was completely unreal

Crescent Cafe, kudos, you've done it again! We discovered Crescent about a year ago at the recommendation of a friend who used to live in McMinnville. We tried it then and we were very pleased with our experience. We returned again today. Met by a friendly staff, we did have a bit of a wait but that was on us... we failed to make a reservation. Nonetheless, it was worth the wait! They accommodated all 6 of us in less time than predicted. We were seated at a lovely table in the front of the restaurant and met by a lovely waitress who was so bubbly, friendly, and kind. Coffees showed up quickly and our orders were taken quite promptly. The atmosphere was lively and the staff was attentive. Food. They just do dang good here. First, yes we know what is coming now... THEY KNOW HOW TO COOK AN EGG TO ORDER! Second, the food is fresh and piping hot... hashbrowns are perfectly crisp, and the ham was delish! Overall, what more can I say? Huge portions, we each ate / drank cofee for ~$20/each and left with leftover boxes. Crescent Cafe knows how to do brunch. They thrive in all areas, you can't go wrong. Next time you're in McMinnville for the weekend, make sure you stop in for a fabulous brunch!
