The worst service I've ever experienced I sat for almost an hour and a half waiting on my food and still never received it. I went up to ask about it and they had completely forgotten about my food I luckily was able to get a refund but workers were not only disrespectful but incredibly lazy and on their phones normally I love coming here to eat and get fun drinks but I'm incredibly disappointed in the service today. The service the few times I've been here have been very friendly and fast! The seating is nice and the upstairs area on a weekday morning is a perfect place to study. I liked their lattes and the matcha smoothie, and the service has always been good. HOWEVER-- if you're looking for Viet coffee, I would skip this place. I was craving one and the viet coffee I got was not what it was supposed to be at all. The color of the coffee was so light (almost like milk), and tasted just like a dilute iced vanilla latte, not at all like a Viet coffee unfortunately :( other than that this place is great! The decor is very cute and cozy and the quality of the drinks are wonderful. The shakes (especially the Orange creamsicle), smoothies and lattes are rich in flavor and won't disappoint. Unfortunately, the service we received today wasn't as pleasant as the last time we visited. We visit this town (& coffee shop) every few months. When we arrived this time, we inquired on the "new" Yelp check in-offer for the free cookie with drink purchase that was currently being offered on Yelp. Although she had to call the owner about it, her attitude was definitely not welcoming and was filled with doubt, as if I had anything to do with the offer. She was told by the owner it was a very old offer and that they couldn't honor it. Terrible customer service. How hard would it have been for them to honor the offer, for my very excited children, and take the loss of one small baked item, while they contact Yelp and ask for the offer to be removed. In a small town, customer service should always be top priority. Do you want returning happy customers that can rely on consistent service or risk a bad reputation and being taken as a business with false advertising. read more

The place is adorable from the outside, looks like a regular house. They have some seating outside on the porch as well with a heat lamp. Inside there is minimal seating downstairs, but it looks like there is more upstairs. We took our drinks to go so we didn't take a look up there, but would have as it was filled up downstairs. Service was a little weird, three or four people working back there, and yet after standing there for a minute or two (after watching someone in front of us pay and go sit) one of them yells towards us from like four feet away that she'll be right with us. The person who took our order just kept going "ok and what else" but it sounded rude or like she was annoyed which was off putting. The wait for our drinks was minimal, nothing unusual. It was normal tasting coffee, nothing special. I did get a Honey Lavender Latte, my friends got a Cardamom latte and Salted Caramel Latte. They all tasted weirdly similar. And it was 16 dollars for three drinks and you don't get to pick the size. Everything is expensive anymore even when it's not special. read more

There are many great things about Telvet Coffee: the food, the beverages, the service, the location. It's almost not worth it though if you happen to find yourself sitting upstairs. The conference room is okay, cold, but at least it has good lighting. Sadly, the space is taken up by a conference table, which is usually taken up by only 2 people. The upstairs area is always so dark, cold & uninviting. From the tables that are uneven and slant downward, to the drafty old windows, to the gray paint, and awful lighting. Some lamps & a heater would be a good place to start. read more

I had the spiced chai latte and their meat burrito, which were perfect starts to my day. My partner got their iced oat milk lavender honey latte, which I can confirm as a must-get! For food they have mostly coffee and a assortment of pastries, muffins, and croissants. The service here is fast, and the baristas are friendly. Typically i don't have to wait longer than 5 minutes to get my coffee. The ambiance here is nice. Essentially, this used to be a house but the owners converted it into a coffee shop. What's cool about this place is they have plenty of space for you to study or do work on your computer, so is great if you're a student looking for a quiet place to work. My sister and I were staying with our cousin in Forest Grove and were looking for a breakfast/coffee pitstop before heading to PDX Airport. We found Telvet Coffee via Yelp and noted the great reviews. It was also a short 5 minute drive from his house. We arrived at Telvet Coffee around 9:15am on a Sunday. Telvet Coffee was a cute second story home converted to a cafe/bistro. I loved the cozy atmosphere. I'm sure the corner with vintage chairs and fireplace made for a great study spot for students. Since it was located right next to Pacific University the majority of the employees were the local students, and they were all very friendly and nice kids. The place wasn't too busy, so we got our food and drinks at a timely manner. I was highly interested in the Telvet Specials, which were coffees and lattes with different syrup blends that you wouldn't see anywhere else. I ordered an iced lavender honey latte with almond milk. The lavender flavor was strong, but I really enjoyed it. I also ordered an egg, ham, and cheese on a bagel. I got to choose the type of cheese and bagel I wanted, so I went with American cheddar and an everything bagel. Since the addition of ham considered this a custom sandwich, I had to pay for the premium. It was a solid breakfast sandwich and tasted totally fine, but $8.75 for just ham, eggs, and cheese on a bagel was a bit pricey. I could get the same thing at another bagel shop for much less. This should be a staple off the menu and/or cost as much as the bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon. read more

Great coffee and pretty good breakfast. My favorite coffee here is their Vietnamese coffee. I come to Thai coffee shop just for that. Unfortunately though, they have slow service on the food. The workers aren't very friendly and they don't communicate with you on how long your food is going to take, which is really inconvenient. I ordered a scramble and it took them 30 minutes to make it. An old renovated house makes up this little shop; open and spacious great place to sit and work or grab and go. Not only are the drinks amazing but the sweet treats here are dangerously good. Tried one of their house drinks of the Sea Cream Iced Black Coffee and it is great, perfect coffee and cream balance. Also tried the breakfast burrito which was simple and filling. Great shop would be a regular if I lived closer! I really wanted to hate this place. After all, throughout my time at Pacific, I went to Starbucks nearly every third day. If all that time I could have walked just 2 more blocks for a better and cheaper coffee shop, I'd be a fool. Well, it turns out, I'm a fool, as there's NOTHING to hate about Telvet. There's plenty of space, plenty of outlets, fantastic prices, an amazing espresso roast, delicious pastries, friendly service, a nice quiet but not too quiet noise level, a cute aesthetic, and convenience in location. This is the perfect study spot. If I were really digging, the lights have a propensity to flicker obnoxiously, and the space is a bit dim. Then again, even that contributes to a rather romantic image of quietly working away in a candlelit room as one studies for midterms. Pacific students, COME HERE. It's worth the 2 extra blocks from Starbucks. You'll save money, you'll be more relaxed, and you'll get better product. read more

Tried this a few days ago on a Saturday morning and ordered a couple coffees and breakfast burritos. My coffee was a hot and my hubby's was an iced. His was too sweet and mine was fine. The breakfast burritos smelled great. We got home and the hubby's burrito vanished and he loved it. Mine was good the first two bites, then I got into my third bite and had a mouthful of crunchy something that was like rocks. I thought it may have been just one but the next two tries of bites brought the same. I spit those out too and threw away the burrito. Total bummer. They were pretty expensive burritos at $11.75 each. The place was cute tho and the staff seemed like a group of nice gals. read more

this was my favorite cafe when i lived in the area in elementary and middle school. my sister would always order the sea cream vietnamese coffee and i would get some boba drink and we would sit upstairs and study & talk for hours. I moved a few years ago and now in college and just recently made the drive to visit again :) telvet is still amazing as always and the Vietnamese coffee still tastes perfect ! it's better than a lot of the viet coffee ive had in oc. This is a little gem of a coffee shop located in forest grove right across the street from the pacific university eye clinic. I stopped in here with a co worked for a quick bite to eat and a cup of coffee. She said they had great breakfast burritos, so we decided to share one. We got what I think was called the Telvet burrito which had bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, spinach, zucchini, potatoes, ham, and bacon and eggs of course. We also grabbed a dark roast. I gotta tell you, best breakfast burrito I've ever had! It came with sides of sour cream, salsa and a green salsa. I can't find anything bad to say about it. It was grilled to perfection. The coffee is solid, but I've had better. They also have a great selection of baked goods as well. The staff are amazing, and the decor is very cute. Horrible Experience. Went with my girlfriend after being skeptical of the place. Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and was told the wait would be about 15 minutes. So we waited about 20 minutes until I left because we also needed other things. I returned to no sandwiches 20 minutes later (40 minutes now). When I complained the people didn't know what to do so I demanded a refund and the system didn't work. They tried to give us a gift card but will not be coming back! A cute mom & pop coffee and tea shop in downtown FG across from Pacific University! My friend and I made our way here on Sunday morning and it wasn't too crowded. They have a extensive drink menu along with breakfast food items, sweets, and sandwiches. I got an original milk tea with boba and my friend got the blended taro with boba. My friend said her drink is comparable to Sharetea. My milk tea had a strong tea flavor that well balanced with creaminess, which I really appreciate! We both enjoyed our drinks and would definitely come back. It's often rare to find a good boba shop so this place is definitely a hidden gem in Forest Grove! The staff is also super nice and helpful. Came here on a whim on a rainy day and boy would I regret it! For starters I live in Fairview which is quite a ways away from that's cute little shop. Google Maps estimates about a 40-minute drive from my place to here yet I make the drive. My first visit I was recommended the Vietnamese coffee so I tried it and was instantly hooked. The owner I believe it was told me that they also sell it in bottles so if I want it to come back I could pick some up. One rainy day I begged my husband to drive me all the way over there so I could buy some bottles and stock up and we get all the way over there just to find out that they only sell the bottles seasonally for the students. I was so frustrated with wasting my time especially after telling them how far I had driven and what I was told the last time I was there. They only seemed slightly empathetic towards my situation otherwise they didn't really seem to care. I bought myself a Vietnamese coffee for the road and gave them my stamp card and lo and behold they only gave me one stamp. Wow I drive 40 minutes to come here for a thing he said he would have and don't have but you can't even spare a couple extra stamps? It's all these little things that add up to one big thing and that's inconsistency. The Vietnamese Sweet Cream is amazing but I can't drive there just for that. Le sigh read more

As a student who likes studying in coffee shop settings, this is the place to be! Cute, cozy place literally across the street from Pacific University. There's a little porch area with a few chairs and tables to lounge on. Inside, there's a small fireplace, ample tables and chairs, and even have conference rooms on the 2nd floor that you can reserve! The staff here are so friendly, nice, and super attentive! The owner and the staff even went out of their way to remember my name. So sweet. They brew their teas themselves, and basically make their drinks from scratch. The owner definitely has a fine palate. I got their original milk tea and jasmine milk tea with half sugar, and the milk tea was perfect.
