    Clam chowder
    Devan M.

The place itself has such a cozy and comfortable vibe. The carajillo was sooo good. The clam chowder was rich, creamy and packed with flavor. The coleslaw was the perfect amount of sweetness. It was fresh and crisp balance to everything on the plate. And honestly one of my favorite things. I just wish there would've been more of it. The halibut was cooked beautifully and tasted so fresh and flaky even as fish and chips. But I have to talk about the clam chowder! It is hands down my absolute favorite. If you're coming here, do yourself a favor and order all of it. You will not regret it

The service was excellent; such a friendly waiter (family owned business), atmosphere cozy and comfy and food delicious, fair value and portion size. Dungeness Crab melt was soooo good!

Went to Canon Beach on the Oregon coast for the weekend. We stopped by Oros Fireside, from the outside it has the look of an old log cabin, the menu is huge with a variety of choices for every meal. We orders breakfast, eggs and chorizo with hash browns and a side of bacon. Very good tasting chorizo I was impressed with the flavor, the bacon was a nice wide cut. We also ordered eggs and ham scrambled eggs, good portion of food. As we entered we were greeted by a very friendly employee, we had our choice of seating, you can site next to the indoor fireplace or along the side of the log cabin walls. It was a nice find, plenty of seating for large and small parties, we visit Canon Beach a few times a year we are glad that we finally stopped by to try Oros.

Second time having breakfast at Oros for our annual girls trip. I've been dreaming of the crab Benedict for the last 365 days and it was everything I remembered. Armando's bloody Mary is also a must. From the owner Armando, to the server (his son), everyone is so friendly there!

We've been coming to Cannon Beach for many years. Oros is always a must for breakfast! Service is quick, great people watching through the windows and great food! Large fireplace in the middle keeps the room warm during the winter.

I've been here twice. Once as a solo diner and had the breakfast skillet and the second time I brought my family and had the huevos con chorizo. Both times the food was spectacular! When my family was present they also had an omelet and the French toast. The star was the maple syrup. They said they made it in house and it was light and sweet and tasted amazing! Service was great both times. Even as a solo diner I received friendly and attentive service. Inside has a cozy vibe with the log cabin and fireplace. Whenever I return to Cannon Beach, I will always try and make a stop here!

Stopped by Oros Fireside in Cannon Beach. I ordered the BLT with Cajun fries and the food itself was great, juicy, flavorful, and really hit the spot. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by some issues. My drink was served in a dirty glass with a lipstick stain, and the silverware was also dirty, so new ones had to be brought out. Service wasn't the best, which took away from what could have been a much better visit.

**Cozy, Family-Friendly Spot with Great Food!** This charming log cabin-style restaurant is warm and welcoming, centered around a huge fireplace that adds to its cozy, rustic vibe--perfect for families or a relaxed meal out. The menu features classic American fare with a twist, offering seafood dishes and even chorizo options across breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We came in at 12pm on a Friday and were seated right away--no wait, which was a great start. We ordered the club sandwich and the clam chowder bowl. Both were delicious, but the chowder was the clear standout: rich, hearty, and full of flavor. If you're hungry and looking for a comfortable spot with great service and a relaxed, homey atmosphere, this place hits the mark. We'll definitely be back! ** On beautiful days like this where the sun is out with a breeze I would hope that the restaurant would have at least a few windows open for air circulation or a fan going** Other: -$$$ -card/cash -bathrooms inside -fireplace seating available -street parking around if lucky

Food was plain and bland. Service was slow, although we were one of a very few customers. Nice restaurant on the inside, but our table was sticky.

What a great experience I had at Oros today. The place is rustic inside and the atmosphere could work for couples to families. My service was prompt for my drink and meal. I had brought a book and read maybe a few pages and my food arrived. I ordered an omelet that was prepared perfectly but the show stopper were the fresh potatoes. These were not frozen hashbrowns you find everywhere but fresh potatoes done in house. They were golden and yummy. I wish I would have gone earlier in the week I would have eaten breakfast there rather than my hotels cold eggs they gave us daily. I also had a Bloody Mary that was yummy. Highly recommend but don't skip the potatoes no matter what you order!

Wow, wow, wow, that's legit how my family and I felt from beginning to end while enjoying breakfast here. We were staying at the nearby Surfsand Resort and had The Wayfarer Restaurant & Lounge on our list, but they were fully booked from early morning until noon. This was the next viable option for our sit-down, dine-and-chat breakfast vibe that day. This place did not disappoint! Wow, the staff, the ambiance, the quality of the food, and especially the drinks! The excellent service and cozy vibes of this place blew us away. My parents are incredibly nit-picky about the quality of food, especially when it comes to seafood. Whether the restaurant cheaps out on the quantity of X seafood ingredient in each dish, these guys did not disappoint. Each Benedict and my crab Omelette was packed with Dungeness crab. I had to have eaten the meat of 1.5 crabs in my Omelette. It was so filling and tasty. If you're looking for a hardy seafood breakfast, this is definitely the place, and at a relatively affordable price. We didn't feel like their prices were too crazy, but we're city folks, so I'm not sure how much water my opinion holds on that. The specialty and fireside cocktails were divine and tasted like dessert in a drink. Just be careful, they were pretty strong, and we are drinkers, so we were pleasantly surprised that these cute, innocent-looking drinks hit us. We ended up double-tipping, and my pops purchased a black hat of theirs, lol, not only because of the quality of the food and drink but also because of the service. One of the owners personally introduced himself from jump and took the time to chat with us about how his family acquired the place. It turns out the Oros family took over from a previous owner, and the current family, including two sons and, I believe, two daughters, were running the place, plus their pops in the kitchen helping out. I really appreciated Salvador and his family's hospitality, my family will definitely be back again! Thank you for a fantastic experience. Give this place a shot, I highly recommend it!

Oros feels like a blend of Pacific Northwest and European style , with its huge fireplace and rough hewn timbers. The food and service were great. I ordered the fried oysters and eggs (a.k.a "Hangtown fry" down in California). Eggs were perfectly done over easy. The oysters were lightly breaded and fried just right, not over- or underdone. Flavorful coffee. I got a side of sausage gravy for the hash browns. The gravy tasted like good quality sausage, not like the overbearing breakfast links found in most diners. Also, the gravy had the consistency of gravy, rather than the thick sticky mud served in most places. Service was friendly and attentive. My only gripe is that the seats are hard and uncomfortable. Nonetheless, I had a thoroughly delightful experience and would eat here again. I want to comment on some of the negative one-star posts that express upset over not being allowed to bring in their own coffee. As you walk in the front door, there is a big sign in the center of the door that says "No Outside Food or Beverages". You then go through another door into the dining room that also has a big sign that says "No Outside Food or Beverages". What kind of entitled jerks would then argue with the host and have a loud tantrum when told they can't bring in their own coffee? Get some manners or go elsewhere!

    Yum stuff.
    Christopher S.

Great food and service. One of the best in the area. Fresh ingredients, staff is terrific. The place is cool too, fireplace of stone in the center makes for a great atmosphere.

I've been there many times, and I've never had a bad meal. And if you had a problem, they would quickly resolve it. It's owned by the hardest-working woman I've ever met. She is always there to greet you with a warm and welcoming smile. I believe she started as a waitress. Then she bought the business, and now she also owns the building. I adore the sometimes-available lemon waffle, though in winter I really like the gingerbread one. I don't eat eggs Benedict, but my friends always love them. Kind of like the feeling of coming home. The place was packed -- just a testament to their very good food and excellent drinks -- there was even a couple sitting outside and they had a fire going. Wish I had taken that photo. It was a really beautiful moment. The place was decorated and felt very holiday festive with small bright lights reflecting off the tin ceiling. Excited to have a couple of days on holiday here. Stopped in to pick up their latest version of fudge because Christian the Baker keeps evolving the art of fudge making...and you don't want to miss an iteration. Using the owner's grandfather's recipe as the base, he makes some of the best fudge in Oregon. Tonight I was told he decided to explore a Mediterranean approach and added nutty sesame to the fudge. The sharp but soft chocolate is a perfect compliment to a delicious drink on a cold, cold night. While I was waiting for the fudge to be packaged to take back to the fireplace in my room, I spied their latest culinary endeavor sitting in jars on the counter... and actually started salivating. They are now serving Pickled eggs. Incredible. When was the last time you had a pickled egg? When done right, pickled eggs are among the most satisfying and clean bite of delicious ungrilled, ungreasy proteins in the world. And the lounge has decided to serve two different kinds, so we might've died and gone to heaven. If you love eggs of every kind, as I do, boiled eggs hold a special place because they are hearty and compact and completely whole. So when you add a spices and acid to that perfection...it emerges as "wow." The service was attentive and thoughtful always, and I was told they're open New Year's Eve until 9.
