Good food. Good customer service. Got a delicious Bloody Mary. Chicken strips and fries were very good as well. Out door smoking area is very nice and covered. Great place to stop!

A hole in a wall type place. Do not let the outside building fool you, as they have good oyster shooters $4/3. First time. Came here strictly for oyster shooters, a little small, but was not disappointed by the taste. The gentleman who helped us was friendly and attentive when ordering. However, they seemed to provide less service when they found out that we didn't want to order actual entrees. Plenty of parking and yes, they accept cards.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed the Relief Pitcher before! Our family has a beach house in Gearhart and this dive is ALWAYS our first stop when we come into town. The main man there, Tony is a complete gem of a guy and makes the best fresh squeezed greyhound. We always order their cheeseburger. It's big enough to share (though you probably won't want to) and they hand press the patties out of quality local beef. The bun is specially made for them by Franz. You will have the best time at this place. Do yourself a favor and take a taxi. Tony has a heavy pour.

I'm new to Cannon Beach and dropped in for a burger. The burger turned into a FRENCH DIP, coleslaw and fries and I am now their slave. Omg! #bestever #Hollywoodsamazing #winetoo

Oyster shooters 3 for $4 (as of Dec 2019). Ask for a little extra horseradish on the side of you like HOT! Albacore steak taco is one gigantic taco in a burrito shell. Amazing! Beer on tap and in bottle (Including O'Douls Amber) and fresh squeezed juices. Fantastic outdoor area during blue sky days. Even better if the firepit is lit. Older top 10 type music (well... I guess "older" is relative, so examples include: I heard I can't get no satisfaction/ George Micheal/ Night Shift/ Let's Get Physical/Pretenders/ Jimmy Beaumont & the Skyliners/ The Animals -When I was young...) Apparently 98.1 local radio station. A bit noisy on a weekend but a lot more quiet during the week days/nights. Fun and good-natured staff, (so long as you don't try to push their limits on patience!). Great place if you just want to stop of for a quick drink on the way down 26, on HWY 101.

If you have a disability or support those who do, don't bother. Looking forward to oyster shooters + clam strips. My Service Dog and I experienced discrimination. Dawn repeatedly told us we weren't welcome as my dog "was clearly not a service dog". A (non mandatory) Service Dog leash + Tag was on display. Not all Service Dogs fit a stereotype. Much like their Humans. Ruined a day at the coast. Awful. ADA #Discrimination Go elsewhere for beer and seafood.

Tuna steak and a fresh squeezed salty dog!

Tuna Reuben! And on a chilly coastal day the wood stove rocks! Convenient stop near Seaside.

Burgers were ok but slightly bland, fries were soft, table was sticky. This place could be great but definitely need some TLC.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch in getting into town and boy did I make the right choice. From…read morethe beginning, the staff was nice in their greeting and kind in their energy. The woman behind the bar, may have been the owner, was so kind, caring and attentive. She made conversation with me over my license from Colorado, asked my name and remembered it as I was leaving saying "have a nice day, Nate" Soooo sweet and kind. A true gem of a human. She even had regulars that she said "I told you when we were on that hike that I owe you a drink so this ones on me" freaking precious. Okay now that I'm done praising the owner/bartender. The food was exquisite too. I got a basic cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce. It was cooked well and was enjoyed heavily and quickly haha. The cook even came by to check that I liked it as well. Very warm place with great food. Much enjoyed. The place was clean and kept up well. This was one of the first dive bars I had been to where they had slots and that was a bit of a twist. I didn't roll the dice on them as the only thing I gamble on is once a year and that the horses at the Kentucky derby. Keeps my gambling in line and doesn't upset the in-laws too much. If I visit Seaside OR again, I will absolutely find myself back here for another delicious burger and friendly interaction.

4.5 stars... well, let's call it four and a half with a raised eyebrow…read more Time's Theater and Public House has been part of my life since I was three years old. Three. I couldn't tie my shoes, but I could sit in that theater and stare at that big glowing screen like it was the second coming of Hollywood. From childhood all the way to 18, that place wasn't just a theater it was a landmark. It's iconic. It's got bones. It's got stories in the walls. I remember walking in one time and the screen was down, sports blasting on that big canvas like God intended. That's how you use a theater, folks. You don't buy a cowboy hat to hang it on the wall you wear it. Same principle. Now listen, they've fixed up the bathrooms . Nobody wants to change "historic" restrooms. Some things should stay nostalgic. Some things should not. The food? On point. Service? Solid. Decor? Still has that old-school charm that makes you feel like you're part of something bigger than just lunch and a beer. But here's where I tilt my glass and squint a little. Last few times we've gone in, that big beautiful screen is nowhere to be seen. Instead, we're staring at giant stainless steel beer kegs stretched across the back like industrial art. Not everybody came to admire a 10-foot aluminum torpedo. Drop the screen, man. Let it shine. It's a theater. If I wanted to stare at storage containers, I'd tour a shipping yard. And here's the kicker we walked in at lunch, only a couple folks inside. By the time we left? Elbow to elbow. Packed out. The business is hopping. Which tells me you're doing a lot right. I just think when you've got that kind of space and that kind of history, you let the screen fly. Give the people the ambiance. Don't buzzkill the magic with beer tanks. I love the place. I'll keep coming back. But pull that screen down and let it do what it was born to do. That's worth half a star right there.

I am into lagers and they had more than 1! Yay! I usually am only finding one at different places. I had a sampler tray and got all of the lagers. How on earth this place gets more than even one star is a complete mystery…read more Never have i had a worse meal or experience at any establishment in over 50 years, I swear. Myself and four of my friends went here and we sat on patio where we were promptly and absolutely completely ignored . We waited 30 minutes when they were hardly even busy and had to go inside and ask for every drink, to place a food order, to remind them we'd like to place a food order, to remind them AGAIN that we'd like to place a food order, to tell them we'd like to pay our bill ( three times) and finally to tell them that if we didn't get our bill in the next five minutes, we'd leave. Each time we went inside, we were ignored and had to wait up to ten minutes while being ignored completely. They would not even look at any of us or acknowledge that we were standing there . Seemed more interested in talking with the locals sitting at the bar. It was honestly the strangest experience any of us had ever had at a restaurant. On top of all that.....the food SUCKED!!! The seafood was fried is such a huge amount of batter that was soggy with grease that it was uncooked in the middle. Upon peeling the huge amount of nasty batter from the fish, we found a piece of fish in the middle that was MAYBE an inch wide and 1-1/2 inches long. I wish we had thought to take pictures. All in all, it was an absolutely disgusting meal , rude unfriendly staff that really just acted like you didn't exist and were not even remotely approachable. a waste of over 2-1/2 hours of our lives which really should have been an hour. Most of the time was spent looking at each other and wondering what the hell was going on. Save your money!
