Crabby Oyster entrance.

Excellent food and service! I had the steamed clams at lunch and it was not too much but rather just the right amount of food. It came with delicious sourdough bread that was perfect for soaking up all the delicious butter/wine sauce that the clams were steamed in. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great tasting seafood!

Oyster Poboy and onion rings

amazing no. but had a great experience. In Seaside with my 3 year old and took her out for dinner. The staff from greeter and sever were friendly with my daughter. As for food the oyster poboy could have had toastier bread but the oysters were pleasant and pro-tip upgrade $2 to beer batter onion rings. Kids fish and chips $10 was two pieces of fish of good size. The best part was the clam chowder. Have I had better yes. But was flavorful and the way I like creamy but not that overly flowered thickened type. I could taste the onion and celery mild hints. And my kid devoured it (and some call me picky) Overall a nice evening out

Kitchen Sink for 2!

The Kitchen Sink for 2 hit the spot! We went saucy and do not regret it. What a variety and fun dining experience!

Crab cakes

Wow, is all I can say! The food was delicious. We had crab cakes and a combination boil that did not disappoint. Just spicy enough to be perfect! The service was top notch. Will definitely eat here again!

Fried Oysters and Clam Chowder

My son saw this in the Seaside magazine as soon as we got to our hotel. It was super close, less than 5 minutes. We got fried oysters, clam chowder, fettuccine Alfredo, and the kitchen sink boil. The clam chowder was good with a good amount of meat. My son got the fettuccine; it was so creamy. Last my husband and I shared the kitchen sink. I'm just bummed there wasn't more crab, but it was delicious.

Oysters!

Came in right at opening for a little lunch. Had clam chowder and oysters and both were really good! Clam chowder had large chunks of clams and potatoes. Oysters tasted fresh and really scratched my oyster craving! Server was very nice and attentive.

Kitchen Sink for 2 artichoke & crab dip

Our 1st time in! Such a cute restaurant. Our server was awesome and the food was DELICIOUS! We tried the Crab & artichoke dip with bread, along with the Kitchen sink for 2. Everything came out hot and fresh. Can't wait to go back!

Crab Melt
Tess H.

I had the crab melt on an English muffin and it was delicious. Service was a tad slow but it was worth the wait. If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would.

Peel and eat shrimp, Bloody Mary, crab and artichoke dip.

I love it here and come every time I'm in seaside. Easy walk from the hotel. Good food, great service, good drinks, and the playlist is always on point. 5 stars.

Ceviche was literally nothing but cheap bay shrimp. I ordered the halibut tacos for my main with no mango salsa because of an allergy. It came with mango salsa and the wrong kind of tortilla. Before I could say anything waitress bolted away from the table. I think she knew it was wrong. We had to flag down another waiter after looking for ours for ten minutes, rest of the party had almost finished their food by that point. Two other people had incorrect orders as well but chose to deal with it as it wasn't allergies. Finally got correct order and I wish I would have just sent it back with no replacement. Halibut was almost non existent, it was more of a cabbage taco. The rice was gross and tasted old. The beans were bland. When our waitress finally did come back she said nothing about my incorrect meal. She actually became rude and cold, wouldn't even look at us. I had just received correct meal and two others ordered more drinks since we would be staying longer. Took over 20 minutes to get more drinks and she had become so cold that we were all convinced she might have spit in them. New drinks were left untouched and I left hungry.

We came here for my boyfriend's 50th birthday, on recommendation from a friend whose beach house we…read morewere staying at. She suggested the beef medallions with mushrooms, so we got that, as well as the house lasagna. Both were absolutely delicious! Lasagna is his all time favorite - and what his mother would have made him if we had been able to make it back East for his birthday, (but we got stormed out). I was thrilled that he thought this was just as good. I don't do mushrooms but can maneuver my way around them (which means picking them out at putting them on my boyfriends plate). The restaurant is charming and intimate and decor very much takes you from Seaside, OR to any small town in Italy (or Little Italy in NYC). Maria was our server (according to the receipt) and she was awesome! She was personable, and spent time visiting with us and telling us the history of the restaurant. She also helped me be sneaky and hid the little birthday cake I snuck in my bag and hid it in back, then had brought it out later; adding a bunch of ice cream to it - and got the other restaurant guests to suing Happy Birthday to him. My boyfriend is fairly private so this intimate setting and delicious food, was exactly what he wanted and a wonderful surprise for him.

We were seated and served right away, which is always nice. Our server was very pleasant and took good care of us throughout our visit. The food was good, but didn't impress me as much as it did on our last visit. I had carbonara, which is always my go-to baseline meal, and it wasn't bad, tasted ok, but didn't blow me away at all. My wife did enjoy her dish, however, and our drinks were very tasty too. It might have just been me, so I'm not going to say don't go here, you absolutely should, because this is probably the most authentic Italian you're going to get in this area and it's worth a visit!

There are certain places on the Oregon Coast that just feel legendary the second you walk through…read morethe door, and Bell Buoy of Seaside is absolutely one of them. The smell of smoked salmon hits you like a warm coastal memory before you even know what you're ordering. Not only do they have smoked salmon, crab, oysters, and just about every fish imaginable, but that smoked ahi tuna dip might honestly be one of the greatest snack inventions known to mankind. Throw it on chips, make a sandwich out of it, eat it straight with a spoon like a wild animal, it does not matter. It is incredible. What I love about this place is it feels authentic. Not some polished tourist trap trying too hard. This place has history in the walls. Bell Buoy has been around since 1946 and is one of the last remaining canneries on the Oregon Coast, still smoking and canning seafood in house with vintage equipment that somehow still hums along decades later. (Bell Buoy) You can taste that tradition the second you bite into anything they make. Everything in there just screams Oregon Coast excellence. Fresh crab, wild salmon, smoked fish, seafood stacked everywhere like a treasure chest from the Pacific Ocean. You walk in thinking you'll buy one little thing and suddenly you're walking out carrying enough seafood to feed a fishing village. No regrets whatsoever. The people working there were friendly, the products were amazing, and honestly it just made the whole day better. Places like this are why road trips to Seaside are dangerous for your wallet but great for your soul. I was stoked to leave with something that tasted that good. Absolute treat from start to finish. If you are anywhere near Seaside and you skip Bell Buoy, you are doing the Oregon Coast wrong. Five stars without hesitation.

Not a lot of sitting inside, but quite a bit outside. Service was friendly and fast, no complaints. The only thing that was not that great was the coleslaw. No flavor except for cabbage, I did like the pineapple in it though.
