Pricey!!! So many Mexican restaurants around. Hard to justify these prices. Looks clean and people were nice though

Great service - very fast and friendly. Clean dining area, and well organized. My in laws had the fish and chips - and they did enjoy the fish. The clam chowder (their side) was also very good. The Mari Fajita was a feast in itself! My wife was full - to be honest the "flavor" was lacking a bit. I had the Chimi w beef and I enjoyed it. The strawberry lemonade was very refreshing!

The service was great. My grandma had a little language barrier asking for milk. But we got birria tacos, fajitas, chicken quesadilla, and cheese quesadilla. The fajitas were AMAZING. 10000/10 would recommend. The birria was good, and my son gobbled up the cheese quesadilla without sharing. I would definitely go back and try new things. The photos they had on the wall were really amazing and overall I'd say I had a great experienc

Entered restaurant and it was cold, no heat. Menu and price looks good. I had the ranch breakfast in pic good size and price. Now don't look around much cause I question how clean and what is on the tables. Ketchup in bottle was brown, redish...old, curtains stained from old food, used salt shaker and it is sticky and has food on it...mind you this is breakfast so first meals of the day. Overall, will not be back..will spend a couple $$ more and head to Uptown, Arnies. Had a shot and now a pass.

Bad service, bad food. We weren't offered anything to drink besides water. It took her forever to take our order.

We recently discovered the gem that is the Chalkboard Cafe. While staying in Seaside we were…read morelooking for a new breakfast spot and are glad that we happened upon the Chalkboard Cafe. Located near the end of a strip mall on Broadway on the Southeast side of the river, this tiny cafe and bakery serves up love and smiles. We were traveling with our two adult children who are on the autism spectrum. Our oldest is gluten free and our youngest, well he identifies as a bull moose and can be about as easy to wrangle. There were plenty of gluten free options for our oldest. Our server Zoe rocking the Wonder Woman tank was a super hero! The owner quickly tuned in to our family being on team quirky and made us feel welcome and at home. Everyone was so friendly! The food? Exceptional! This was our third breakfast out on our trip and the Chalkboard Cafe took the blue ribbon and it was not even close! My youngest had the biscuits and gravy, with a couple of eggs and a sausage patty. He's a charter member of the clean plate club and met the challenge. It was a generous portion. Our oldest had a half order of the B&G and was tempted to have one of the hot from the oven gluten free mini Marion berry pies that the owner proudly paraded around the dining room. Steaming from the oven this Marion berry pie tasted like the best of an Oregon summer. I was glad he shared a couple of bites. It was such a delight that we took a pie home for later! My wife and I shared the traditional eggs Benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached, and topped with a thick piece of ham grounded with their perfect English muffin. The Hollandaise was rich and creamy providing a wonderful coat on top of the egg. Their red potatoes were seasoned just right and were a compliment to the eggs Benedict as they would compliment most any savory breakfast. In addition to the pie we took home a couple their chocolate krinkle cookies which were not gluten free. That's the bad news. The good news is that we did not have to share them! They were heavenly! We get to Seaside at least once or twice a year and the Chalkboard Cafe will be part of our regular dining rotation while visiting. Thanks for the love and excellence! Great job and we are looking forward to our next visit!

But I didn't care too much for the flavor. Genuinely not good. And the cream cheese it came with, zero flavor, which was easily remedied by adding my own salt. The ambience and decor was quaintly charming, at first. But the more I looked the more understood that everything was creepy. Like witchcraft creepy.

Pig 'n Pancake is hands down one of the best places for an American breakfast in Seaside, Oregon…read more The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and everything has that classic, comforting breakfast quality that keeps us coming back. Every time my wife and I make the trip from Seattle to Seaside, this restaurant is a must-stop. The customer service is generally friendly, and the staff works hard even when the restaurant is busy. However, service could be more attentive during peak times. We had to ask for coffee refills instead of it being offered proactively, and better follow-through on small details like that would improve the experience. We really wish they would open a location closer to the Federal Way or Tukwila area because we'd be regular customers. We absolutely love this place and always look forward to eating here. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because we were told the wait would be about 10 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 35 to 40 minutes. To make matters more frustrating, several groups that arrived after us were seated before we were, and no one came over to update us about the delay. On top of that, the restroom situation felt very limited for the volume of guests, with only one toilet available for what seemed like hundreds of diners, which made things inconvenient during busy times. Prices have also gone up noticeably, which makes the overall value feel a bit less balanced than it used to. Better communication, improved seating order consistency, and more adequate facilities would make the experience even better.
