My family and I stopped here on our was to Astoria. The service wasn't great, the waitress was rude and the place was the cleanliest, the toilet for sure wasn't. My brother in law is lactose intolerant, not just staying away from dairy fad, but for real has a problem with dairy. He got the burrito because it didn't list having cheese or sour cream, and my sister even asked her when she was taking the order if it did and she said no. Also they serve room temp water (no ice) and didn't ask about other drinks. My buffalo wings were good, my nephews plain were good, my sister got chiquilltas (?) and she enjoyed them but my brother in laws burrito came and it was all rice (it came cut in half) very little chicken and when he bit in there was cheese. When he called the waitress over and he showed her, she took the piece of cheese, squished it between her pointer and thumb repeatedly and then wiped it back on to his plate. I walked in with my elderly mother, and the entire place was completely empty. There was one girl behind the counter who didn't even make eye contact with us for several minutes, I could see somebody in the kitchen who also did not greet us or make eye contact. Finally, she just grabbed a couple menus and asked "For here or to go?" We said for here and she just barked, "Anywhere." OK fine. So we chose a table. She asked if we wanted something to drink. We asked for iced tea. "No ice" she said. No ice??? Weird. There was also an incessantly loud beeping sound coming from the kitchen that was beginning to drive me absolutely batty. At this point, we were extremely unimpressed, and after glancing at the menu to see that everything was very overpriced (cheapest meal was a minimum of $17), we got up and left. Wife and I ate dinner in an empty restaurant on Friday night and can't understand the good Yelp ratings. I ordered steak fajitas and she had chicken chimichangas. The steak was overcooked and cut in ultra thin strips. Large portion was loaded with onions and peppers but the meat was shoe leather. I was not offered a choice of flour or corn and received corn tortillas that were chewy. The service was friendly and attentive, restaurant was clean and comfortable however for the price paid, I won't return for poorly prepared food. read more

Without question the worst "Mexican" food we have ever eaten. I mean, bad doesn't even cover it. $25 for garbage fajitas, which contained exactly 8 overcooked shrimp/ peppers/ onions, and our son was served quite possibly the world's worst kids meal (spaghetti) ever. We sent it back immediately. My wife's quesadilla was dry, bland, and just downright awful. The salsa that came with the chips was not only incredibly sweet, but had absolutely no spices. The cooks appear to have zero taste buds, as our food, all of it, tasted off in multiple ways. We simply cannot recommend this restaurant, and advise anyone thinking of giving it a shot to stay home and eat a cheese and bread sandwich or pancake with no syrup if they want this type of food adventure. Great service - very fast and friendly. Clean dining area, and well organized. My in laws had the fish and chips - and they did enjoy the fish. The clam chowder (their side) was also very good. Just went for the first time. I went for the café de Olla, which did not disappoint. I got the Chilaquiles with salsa Verde. Everything was very good and the service was excellent! She was very attentive. Next time I go, I want to try the chimichanga, oh, and I will be getting another café de olla when I go. read more

The service was great. My grandma had a little language barrier asking for milk. But we got birria tacos, fajitas, chicken quesadilla, and cheese quesadilla. Excellent Mexican Food option in Seaside! Kids really raved about it that we had to go back twice, and the food was consistently good each time. A service was little inconsistent, but still good. Server was responsive and gracious. (2nd server did fail to provide guac and sour cream for our fajitas. Food: Birria Tacos (4.5) adding a little of their Diablo hot sauce to the consommé maded it a (5) for me Steak and Mira fajitas (4.5) Both were solid and the portions were generous. Kids butter noodles and spaghetti (5) were claimed as 'great' by the kids. The place is clean, but confusingly empty. It's located in a strip mall type location, and black \ dark color scheme as your drive doesn't come across as a restaurant. But it really is a clean spacious spot with really good food. Entered restaurant and it was cold, no heat. Menu and price looks good. I had the ranch breakfast in pic good size and price. Now don't look around much cause I question how clean and what is on the tables. Ketchup in bottle was brown, redish...old, curtains stained from old food, used salt shaker and it is sticky and has food on it...mind you this is breakfast so first meals of the day. My one and only complaint is that I ordered a birria quesadilla which was supposed to come with rice and beans but got the birria tacos in my order which were really good but just not what I ordered. The baja chicken salad was delicious and the special of the day was a pork dish served with rice and beans, it had tender meat and just a little heat. The food is amazingly delicious! Huge portions and fast service. The staff are so attentive and kind. Chips, salsa and beans provided as soon as you sit down. I especially loved that they had a mild salsa. Not everyone can handle the heat. They do offer medium and hot if requested. I really hope their business does well and look forward to returning soon. Absolute hidden gem in Seaside, OR! Great service, massive portions, and delectable delights. Delicious fish and chips with fries, cole slaw, choice of soup or huge salad. Tried Marivel's for breakfast this morning. Huge and delicious breakfast burrito. The salsas were on point and way better than average.
