I wish I could remember her name but our server was amazing! She knew exactly what we wanted before even asking and had it at the table immediately. The clam chowder was my meal and at $7 a cup it can't be beat! It's a great portion and highly recommended, big clam bits, great herbs and spices! Satisfying and filling. My friends loved their meals as well, and as it's just a fun little bar on the boardwalk and might be unassuming to the regular tourist, it's truly a great deal and a great meal

Good portions and very friendly service. All 5 meals were good, with the preferred entrees of our meal being the French dip sandwich and clam chowder. Bar atmosphere, decent sized menu, street parking. Good option for lunch if you're roaming downtown.

Ordered 2-waters with lemon, coffee, the biscuits and gravy combo with sausage and the apple fritter French toast combo with ham. Server was friendly but awkward and attentive enough to refill coffee, remove plates and take payment. They serve a bold coffee. I prefer a more medium flavor so a single cup was good enough. The biscuits were tender and flaky not crumbly. The gravy was a good consistency. Nice and thick but not pasty with small clumps of sausage. The two hand smashed sausage patties were of good size and well seasoned. Might be considered spicy by some, salty by others. Eggs were perfectly cooked over medium but seemed a bit on the smaller side. The Apple Fritter French Toast was four toast points. The thicker sliced bread appears to be dipped in an apple fritter egg batter. It was tender tasty and had apple bits. The ham slice was of good size and eggs though a bit small were cooked perfectly.

Good comfort food for a casual night out Music was a bit loud for the dinner tables with a family but I'd recommend sitting at the bar if your going with buddy's.

What a great little spot for a beer and a shot. Great appetizers too. Been a while since we stopped in but still wanted to give a shout-out!

Everytime we come to seaside this is our go to bar for drinks and food. The staff is friendly and attentive. Always try the steamer clams if you're into it, it's one of our favorites. Dundees has a lot of seating options and I'd say kind of cozy vibe, and lots of TVs to watch sports! The clam chowder and burgers are reallyy good too. Don't sleep on them!

Great veggie loaded cheese burger with homemade hot chips also got tuna fish and fries. Great service. Good ambience but needs a good cleaning.

So guys, I'm going to have to be very honest with you, the food was so good I forgot to take the pictures of each plate for you. So here are a few pictures of the building. Trust me, I even told my family "don't let me forget to take pictures of the food for yelp". Also, we were very nervous about bringing our dogs because most places in Seaside Beach, do not let you bring them, this place did it; of course, it was a service animal.

Extremely passive aggressive bar tender, most disrespect I've ever received from a server at a restaurant or bar. Do not recommend.

Crab cakes were expensive and underwhelming. Ceviche was literally nothing but cheap bay shrimp. I ordered the halibut tacos for my main with no mango salsa because of an allergy. It came with mango salsa and the wrong kind of tortilla. Before I could say anything waitress bolted away from the table. I think she knew it was wrong. We had to flag down another waiter after looking for ours for ten minutes, rest of the party had almost finished their food by that point. Two other people had incorrect orders as well but chose to deal with it as it wasn't allergies. Finally got correct order and I wish I would have just sent it back with no replacement. Halibut was almost non existent, it was more of a cabbage taco. The rice was gross and tasted old. The beans were bland. When our waitress finally did come back she said nothing about my incorrect meal. She actually became rude and cold, wouldn't even look at us. I had just received correct meal and two others ordered more drinks since we would be staying longer. Took over 20 minutes to get more drinks and she had become so cold that we were all convinced she might have spit in them. New drinks were left untouched and I left hungry.

#THANKYOUTHURSDAY On…read morethe way home from our Cannon Beach overnight trip last weekend, we decided to swing through the Seaside Outlets. I mean, what kind of Washingtonian are you if you don't stop at at least ONE outlet mall? No tax, people... We mainly came to the outlets for Nike, Bath & Body Works, and Carter's. Being wine & beer lovers though, the name of this spot intrigued us. We were pleased to not find anybody else in the store except for the older gentleman working. The store is laid out nicely and is spacious. They've definitely got more wine than they do beer, but they've got a lot of both. The wine selection is phenomenal. So much! They've got wines from Oregon, California, and Washington. So many different kinds. I had a blast looking over all the different bottles and making my selections. My husband was also really happy with the beer offerings here. If you want to enjoy something in the store, you're able to do so. They have both wine & beer on tap available for consumption in the store. I didn't get the gentleman's name who was working, but he was so sweet and so helpful. I was having troubles picking between a few certain wines, and he helped make my decision and it was clear he was super passionate and knowledgeable about the products. Going further on that, he noticed my husband's beer selections and suggested a handful of other beers for him based off of the flavors he seemed to like - aka, we bought more beer than my husband intended ;) Even after grabbing two bottles of wine, and quiiite a bit of beer, after discount we only spent $60! There was a discount for a certain amount of cans (15% off for 8 I believe) and on the wines I snagged apparently too, which saved us $12. Highly recommend stopping by The Wine & Beer Haus if wine and beer is your jam. Outside of the wine & beer we got, the service was spectacular and I can only hope all the employees who work here are like the older gentleman who helped us out the day we were in. Thanks, The Wine & Beer Haus, for helping us add to our stash! ;)

What kinda game is that? Rude The only reason I'm giving two stars and not one is because another employee came in when she left and while he was nicer, was still only chatting it up with locals and I had to interrupt their conversation to be served.

That's why I've decided to stop hurting myself and go to the Chalkboard Cafe instead. The difference in quality of ingredients and cooking is apparent in the first bite. It really is a bit jarring. This restaurant makes everything from scratch, and I mean everything. Yesterday my son and I got two burgers and our potato salad and coleslaw sides were like sides my mother would make in her kitchen, not globs of shelf stable Reser's food-paste that were made two states over a month ago and sprayed with mortuary chemicals to stop their decay. The food at the Chalkboard is real food, not fake food, which brings me to my next point, dietary restrictions. If I had any dietary restrictions whatsoever, gluten sensitivity in particular, this would be where I would go for breakfast or lunch in Seaside. Chalkboard has gluten free biscuits and gravy available, delicious GF naan bread made by hand, and gluten free versions of popular bakery goods made in their small kitchen from scratch. Even if you don't have restrictions you can be assured that your meal will have 80% less total ingredients just based on the restaurant's ethics alone. They aren't taking shortcuts, they aren't bringing junk into the building in the first place, so junk never ends up on your plate. The service is stellar, the ambiance is charming and clean.
