Smoked salmon scramble was good, the home fries that went with it was divinely crunchy and the seasoning was so on point. Located in South town off of U avenue. Plenty of street parking around the building. They are closed Mondays and Tuesday. So super excited to see that they have online ordering now! We love to get their breakfast burrito to-go. Made very fresh and with great flavor. The salsa that comes on the side is also phenomenal. Highly recommend their other dishes as well. They have picnic table seating outside for the warmer days and inside seating for the colder ones. We always receive top notch service from the staff and our order is always made promptly. They are good so they get really busy at times and there may be a long wait. This is a must-eat when visiting town! The first day I tried the huevos rancheros with 2 arepas, shredded chicken, black beans, queso fresco and home fries. I had never had arepas, so I was eager to try them and they were delicious! As we were eating, a plate went past on its way to another diner and I called over our server to ask what it was. It was the nasi goreng plate, which I had considered before choosing the huevos. So the next day, true to our word, we returned. No need for menus, I knew EXACTLY what I wanted: nasi goreng! A GENEROUS serving of Indonesian style rice stir fried with finely diced veggies, sautéed shrimp and shredded chicken, topped with a perfectly sunny egg and garnished with 3 beautiful prawn crackers. WOW! An absolute winner! Both days hubs went with his standard egg, bacon, pancake breakfast and was very happy with his choice as well. All the staff work really hard to handle the steady stream of customers, but do it with friendly smiles and great attitudes. Felt like we were eating at the home of our fave auntie! This was a place we REALLY wanted to like. GOOD: The place is light, airy and sqeaky clean; except for two notable fails, the food was really good. BAD: It took forever to be seated, served and fed; the server flubbed a few items; eggs ordered over medium arrived fried hard; no warning the sausage was VERY spicy, my wife couldn't eat it. I ordered an omelette with potatoes, which was solid and satisfying but the real star of the show? The Arepa. As a South Floridian, I've had my fair share of Arepas and honestly, these were better than most of what's available back home. Perfectly crisp on the outside, warm and flavorful on the inside. I told my colleague I wanted to take a box to go The service was friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience made me feel like I'd stumbled onto something special. This is not a very big place and do have outside seating and you can bring your dog. That was good. We sat outside, the service was iffy. Staff is polite, however, we were there for almost an hour and a half. Forty five minutes just waiting for the food. Absolutely amazing food and service. We were staying within walking distance and put our names down on the waitlist and they gave us a call 20 minutes later to let us know our table was ready. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Food was delicious - I got their veggie scramble and added poached eggs and cheese which were both upcharges. Potatoes were sooo good and the veggies were amazing as well. Yum! Definitely coming back here if we're ever in seaside again. I got their elderflower mimosa and YUM. They had delicious drinks and a ton of breakfast drink options. My partner got a margarita and it was one of the best margaritas either of us has ever had. The cutest little beach cafe restaurant. I lived in New York for many years and this spot has me feeling like I'm back in the Hamptons chilling in the summer. Super busy, so I would recommend a reservation; there is an hour wait and it's only 11:33 AM. It's worth the wait so all happy campers over here! Great food! Great music and nice aesthetics with. Cozy fireplace in the main dining room. I'm happy ordering to pick up since there are bar stools my puppy, my boyfriend, and I can causally wait on by the front door. This is a neat little place in Seaside. They have kind of an espresso shop inside their cafe. I called prior to arriving to see if I could put in my name on a wait list for breakfast. The lady who answered put me on hold for 5 minutes so I finally just hung up. We got there and the place was really busy on a sunday morning around 11:30am. They lady told me it would be about 30 minutes wait. We got seated after about 20 mins. It's a pretty small place. I got the pancake breakfast with bacon and eggs over medium. It was pretty good. I also got a cappuccino and I liked that. Others in my group got shrimp Benedict, breakfast burrito, and the steelhead Omlette. They enjoyed their meals.
